We had several windows replaced and the windows for the most part were done correctly. I had glaze missing and asked if that was not part of the installation and got no answers back. After three attempts I gave up and post the average review. I would recommend you use a credit card, so you have dispute rights. Not answering a simple question because you got paid is uncomforting to see the least.

Windows were installed professionally and effeciently with care taken for floors due to the need for scaffolding for a large, high window. The quote process is quick, the custom order process takes a little longer due to the virus affecting manufacturing, but the install was prompt when the materials were received.

Excellent experience! James Truelove was very responsive and detailed. It took 3 weeks to get all the different windows made, some had spacers, others were clear. When they arrived, he called and installed them the next day. His install technician Chris did a great job, and I was pleased with their work. I would definitely hire them again.

We have a large half-round window that sometimes fogs. I asked James for an estimate for either de-fogging or replacing the window. He came to my home the next day and explained to me why this particular window is not a good candidate for defogging. He said it is a very thin double-pane window and the decorative divider strips are tightly sandwiched by the glass, which would prevent the cleaning and ventilation process from working well. James explained to me that even though the seal is broken on the window, the desiccant built into the window is apparently not yet saturated, since the window clears up when the humidity drops. (This is explained well on his web site: www.window-wise.com) So I decided to postpone fixing the window for now. If it does start to fog more, I will ask James to replace the window. James gave me an estimate for replacing the glass: $472 with dividers, or $389 for a window without dividers. The replacement cost for the window quoted by another contractor was $770, so this seems like a good price. I also showed James an unrelated problem on a different window that another contractor is going to address. James had a very helpful suggestion on how that contractor can accomplish the same thing at much lower cost and at reduced risk of breaking the glass, compared to what the contractor had planned to do. The advice made perfect sense and will save me hundreds of dollars. Even though I won't be using James' services at this time, I trust him completely and will ask him to fix the half-round window if/when it deteriorates further. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Truelove was prompt for the first appointment to measure the window, and prompt for the second appointment to repair the window. He was thoroughly professional and polite, and did a wonderful job on our window. It looks great! We will definitely use him again when needed, and have highly recommended him to our neighbors and friends.

I had actually used Window Wise several years ago (before Angie's List) to repair/replace some old, cloudy double pane glass windows in our sun room -- and was very happy with results. So, when one of the panes on a sliding glass door shattered, I called Window Wise. Even though James was on out of town on vacation, he returned my call and set an appointment for the next week (I was happy with timing -- it was not an emergency). On time, James looked at the project and provided a written quote. We checked around -- trying to determine if we wanted to replace (upgrade) the entire door or just replace the one pane. We decided for the price, we'd use Window Wise and just replace the glass. After waiting the couple weeks for the glass to be received, we set a date for installation -- Thursday morning. On Wednesday evening, James called to ask if he could reschedule for Friday morning because his current project was running behind. I appreciated the notification and willingly changed to a Friday installation. On time, Friday morning, Window Wise showed up. I was surprised that it was not James who showed up (he, himself, had done the last job), but was not disappointed with the installer. Within a couple hours, job was complete. No surprise charges. Door looks great (better then before). I will use Window Wise again, if needed.

John came out to measure the window and came back about 2 weeks later with a new glass plane and one-way vented/descant trim. Glass pane took a little longer than expected to come in, but install went smoothly. Would definitely use him again.

This went very well. They were very professional. I was very pleased with the product. The work he did saved me a lot of money as opposed to having all the windows replaced. I am very happy with the work overall.

Mr. Truelove was immediately accessible, came right away for an look and estimate. He gave me the information I needed on what he could do with the cracked window, which was to replace the unit. He looked at the other window that was developing moisture and explained a dessicant procedure that seemed reasonable in operation and price to me. We set an appointment for about a week's time, after the window had been ordered and arrived. As it was raining that day, we set the appointment for a few days later. He arrived at the appointed time and proceeded to fix the broken window and prepare the other window. Worked quickly and cleanly and the price was reasonable. Quite satisfied. Mr. Truelove was very pleasant to work with and very willing to explain and answer questions. I will call them first for any other window troubles.

I called him to ask for an estimate, and he came out the next day. The price he gave me was half the cost of the national glass company who also gave me an estimate. He ordered the glass and got it replaced within 3 business days. He has previously done work for me as well, and he always does a great job!

I have a 16 year old home and was experiencing some problems with two of my windows. So we decided to replace the windows and get more energy efficient ones. We recieved 3 quotes for thousands of dollars but decided to really research the company's using Angie's List and BBB. Well I am so happy to report that because of that research we found James from Windows Wise and he knows windows. He was the only one that came out and actually fixed the problems in a few minutes (which was dust in the track-embarrasing) without trying to sell us unnecessary new windows. In fact, he explained that our wood windows were in good shape and should last us for many more years. He replaced one our picture windows (that was broken) and resealed it for quite a reasonable price. Quick, efficient and honest - rare qualities for which we are extremely grateful. I had an estimate done of the windows that I needed to have replaced. Mr. Truelove came to my home and looked at the windows and gave me a written estimate. I did not have to give a deposit at this time. My windows were custom made and about a week later Mr. Truelove called and set up a time to come install my windows. It took about 4 hours to have my windows installed, and I appreciated how careful and conscientious he was in my home. The new windows look fantastic, and I was very happy with the price. If I need any more windows replaced in the future, I will definitely use Window Wise and will recommend them to others.

I just bought a house and there was a window that had lost its seal. The owners said they'd fix it as part of the sale and contracted with Window Wise. The company came out on the day of closing (after the paperwork was signed) so I had no interaction with them. However, when I got to my house later that night the window looked worse than before. There was all kinds of condensation/water in between the panes. I called the company unhappy about the quality- turns out the sellers failed to tell me that there would be a drying agent that would take several weeks to evaporate out. James was so kind in leaving a message and explaining the whole thing (even though he'd already explained it to the sellers...). I really appreciated his professionalism and how promptly he got back to me- even though I was the one in the wrong.
