It was great. The owner, Trevor, came out did a site visit, gave estimate, and the price was good. This was a motorized retractable awning. They came back a few weeks later to install it. They were very professional and everything they did was a good as can be. I would recommend them to anyone.

Trevor was prompt, friendly and professional. He explained the products and made helpful suggestions. The installation went as scheduled. The shutters are everything we expected. The service was great. We highly recommend this business.

Trevor West made an initial visit to measure and make recommendations and provide a quote. He was very responsive each time I reached out with questions. He made some good recommendations for the best type of awning that would have the most longevity. He installed the awning the week that he said he would and was punctual again. He took great care in installing the awning. He even was willing to speak to my husband on a Sunday to gain more insight into the construction of the wall he was going to be drilling into.

Searching for a power wash company who will clean awnings

I reached out to West Awning based on reviews in Angie's List. I was pleasantly surprised by the positive experience and quality work of this supplier. They came the house to look at what I had installed 8 years prior (original installer has gone out of business). They measured and gave me all kinds of ideas for replacement. The major issue I had with the original installation is that the white trim kept getting green mold. West Awning explained why that was the issue and that it would happen again if I replaced what I had originally installed. They recommended something that I love. I gave them 50% deposit and the balance at installation. They told me how long it would take to order and they met hat date. They came and installed the new awnings and they are perfect. This was a positive experience. West Awning is a very professional company, the owner was pleasant and helpful. He let me decide what I wanted and did make sure I was aware of each design, how it would look, how it would hang, etc. I would recommend this supplier to everyone and I will definitely use them again.

They did an awesome job. He said when he was going to be out there and he was out there when he said he was going to be there. The end end product was awesome and he got a lot of compliments from home owners. He pleased everybody, but apparently too good and he was very helpful to the home owners and he didn't inconvenience any of them. He did a very good job.

We wanted to do something about our back deck and the heat it receives in the summer. We looked in to enclosing our deck but the way our deck was constructed required too many additional support beams to be added and at the point we would be better off tearing it down and reconstructing the deck to support the weight of the roof that would be added. That option was way to expensive for what we really are looking to accomplish. I contacted 3 awning companies in the triangle for estimates. On the day I made my contacts, I received and advertisement postcard in the mail for many different home services - one of them being West Awning. Trevor West of West Awning called me back and came to out house to spec what would work for us. He handles a line of awnings mfg. in NC called Solaire. At the time of Trevor's quote, his distributor was running a special where an awning order would qualify for a free motor. We were only interested in a motorized awning so this was especially appealing. All of the other quotes and manufacturers we received quotes from were very professional and of good quality too (Durasol, Sunesta etc..). But the combination of West Awnings price, Sunbrella fabric designs, the product warranties (10 years on fabric, 5 years on hardware), and materials (powder coated aluminum framing, stainless screws) made us choose them for our deck awning. We purchased the Solaire Pro awning, the shroud cover, the remote control and the motion sensor. We received a call about 2 1/2 weeks after our order was placed saying our awning was in and ready for install. Trevor and his assistant came out the next week and installed the awning in about 2.5 hours. So far we have been very pleased with the whole experience and the product. We have a 14 by 14 deck and our awning is 14ft wide with an 11.5ft extension which works just fine for our needs. I asked Trevor why he does not have any reviews on Angie's List and he did not really know a whole lot about Angie's List and their subscribers. He relies a lot on his company Facebook page to advertise, promote and receive reviews for the work he does. I told him I would be the first to review his company and get him recognized on Angie's List.
