handyman service
+ -1 moreThis is truly the best Handyman I have had in all the years of home ownership [ over 50 yrs. ] Intelligent, communicative, talented in his skills with excellent 'people skills" as well. The connection was made when I inquired of a friend for referral for a really good, ethical handyman. She has had excellent service from him & is an experienced home owner who most recently called him when a storm dropped a tree limb on the back part of her house. He was there a.s.a.p. She is very particular person & I knew if she was pleased, it had to be OK. Since this seems to be the summer of " fixing the house." I had many areas of concern & was interested in ' staging' it in phases. So, that's the way we have worked; as I became familiar w/ his approach to the work [ plan, suggestions, & implementation ] I saw his style of doing a very good job w/ attention to detail & to the work at hand. Answers telephone calls, returns phone calls, replies to e-mail inquiries and questions promptly. Reasonable pricing & excellent collaboration w/ owner.
Description of Work: Fully licensed (General Contractors) and insured. Specific: Home improvement: Carpentry: Replaced, caulked & painted siding where needed. Included removing " cat door " to outside & installing as above described new siding. Fabricated matching pattern[ to originals ] banister stair rails for front porch - Chippendale style; treated lumber. Putty & paint [ in 2-4 wks ] Mount new replacement front porch & garage front decorative lights, and back garage door motion detector spot light. Repaired sheet roc around Master Bath exhaust fan. Used "popcorn " ceiling spray to touch up that area and several other places in different rooms. Checked & secured master bath exhaust fan & ck'd ceiling fan in bonus room. Replaced ceramic bulb fixtures in crawl space & 'cubby " space, also stapled speaker wiring in place in cubby. All work included: acquiring materials; removing trash from existing needed replacement areas; Meticulously cleans the work areas when completed & removes from premises all scraps of replaced or construction material. Multiple areas of ability - Carpentry, Drywall installation & repair, Light electrical; plumbing- kitchen & bath remodel, Hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, custom cabinetry & furniture. Very professional ; excellent assistant ; fast professional service; reasonable rates. Estimates are printed on company letterhead. Contract printed w/ agreed upon defined tasks & cost by item & total.
