Our AC unit was not cooling any room in the home. We immediately contacted Dan Richmond of Wakefield Heating and Air and he promptly responded to our call. He was to our home within one hour from that initial call. Dan assessed the the condition of the nonworking unit and diagnosed the problem quickly. In addition, he then assessed our main floor AC unit which was running and determined that it had no problems. He then proposed several options for the upper unit which included several repairs, the cost, and the time line for those repairs to last VS replacing the old unit with a new, more efficient unit, its cost, and its warranties. We opted for a new unit. Dan made recommendations on a new unit based on history of uses, required maintenance, warranties, and cost. We listened to his recommendations and went with a new Lennox unit. Dan promptly ordered the unit from his distributor. Later that same day, Dan delivered it and he and a crew of workers installed the new unit the very next day. This AC unit had to be installed into a tight, but floored space in our top attic having remote access. Dan and his crew could not have been more professional or friendly. And they cleaned up after themselves each step of the way! We highly recommend this group to everyone! AND our new AC is quiet and working wonderfully!! Thanks Again, Dan!!

Found Dan Richmond through my unofficial Friend's referral network. Being a small business owner I tend to look for others who's quality and punctuality reflect directly on their livelihood. Dan installed Carrier Heat Pump and new Air handler (20 years old) at a considerable savings from others we had bid the project (saving thousands of dollars). This leak was noticed by icing around the heat pump. Called Dan, her returned my call within an hour and was at my home a few hours later. Excellent detection, repair and refill of freon at no charge under the warranty. We have used Dan for all of our HVAC and "crawl space" work. If you can afford to pay cash for your service you will find a very hefty savings.
