We are renovating a 20-year-old house and did not initially plan to replace the sub-floors, but when it became obvious we needed to do that, Jim and Roy were flexible and made it their priority to get that done. While in the crawlspace they found a major beam that needed to be replaced and took care of that as well. They were also helpful in changing the deck design, which is much more open and modern now.
We plan to bring them back to help with some shelving and staircase work.

Jim and his co-worker Roy worked everyday until project was finished. Jim gave detailed estimate. He followed all of our desires for how we wanted finished product to look. He personally picked all the wood making sure all boards were straight and no knots. Unlike many contractors, Jim and Roy know how to use a level and a t square. They are extremely conscientious and take great pride in a job well done. They left each day taking with them all trash and pieces of wood no longer needed for the job. The new screens on our existing entertaining home is beautiful. Jim corrected existing bracing issues on the structure. The screens are tight and all the lathing work was beautifully executed.

I will be using Turner on interior projects. In late Sept. His company will be removing existing brick hearth. This will require the repair of fireplace for a smooth front and adding a piece of slate flush with flooring in front of fireplace.

The contractor handled the destruction of the old kitchen area, deck and outer wall as well as building of the new section. He's not just a contractor, he does as much himself (with help) as possible. We had no problems or issues with the contractor or with any of the subs he hired for plumbing, electrical, hvac, etc. We found the contractor to be honest, patient and dependable. He knows what he's doing. I would definitely hire him again for my next remodeling or any other type of project.
