They company made a big sales pitch and charged a high cost for initial service that included sealing our house and setting traps (only about 8 traps were set for five days - I could have done this). A monthly fee for mouse poison boxes to be checked and refilled is charged. I called after finding mice activity in our house less than a two months after the work which was guaranteed. It took two hours to reach someone and I though they'd send someone out the next day to check seals and set traps - which was the expectation set during the big sales pitch. No - they have offered to have someone come out next week - for a wildlife issue. No one I know wants to wait a week to address mice in their house. We regret hiring them. Contacting them alone is difficult enough.

Excellent punctuality and professionalism. They came and sprayed the woodwork for carpenter bees on a monthly basis. They also treated the exterior of the house for pests. We had a coke problem and they are currently fixing that knowing we have kids and dogs. Easy to contact. Great service.

We have had a mouse problem for over 6 months now. We originally went with another company that did not provide us with a long-term maintainable solution. I received a recommendation for Trutech from a co-worker. I called them and was able to schedule an appointment immediately for a few days later. The technician, Matt, communicated with me before the appointment to keep me updated on his arrival time. He arrived promptly and began by asking me numerous questions about our mouse infestation to assess the situation. After seeing where the mice have been in the house, he began to evaluate possible entry points for the mice. He was great about explaining the possibilities, the potential costs and whether those costs were worth the benefits. The technician made me feel really comfortable about choosing to go with the trapping and monthly maintenance of the bait stations. I was confident that the cost was worth the services we were getting. After we decided to go with the trapping and bait stations, the technician did a great job explaining to us why he was putting things in certain places around the house. He made sure to take into account our 4 dogs and making sure that everything he was placing in and around our house was safe for them. The bait stations were placed in the four corners of the house and are in durable locked boxes that our 4 big dogs cannot possibly get into. I'm comfortable letting our dogs out in the yard unsupervised and know that they will not be harmed by the bait. The technician has been back every other day to check the traps and bait stations. He has always given us ample notice letting us know when he is coming and I have felt comfortable leaving a key for him on days when I couldn't be here. Almost immediately we noticed less evidence of mice and this just has continued. After we are confident that the mice have been eliminated from our home, a technician will come monthly to place new bait in the bait stations to make sure that mice are prevented from entering our home again. I am confident that TruTech has provided us with a long-term maintainable solution that is worth the cost.

We have water behind our house and they come out and remove the water moccasins. They are really good. They do more than just snakes they do other stuff too.

I had suspected that I had squirrels in my attic. I could hear some scratching, but it was always near the gutter on the edge of my house, so I could not tell if they were inside or not. I spoke with Matt and he said that he could come out and inspect for $100. Shortly after we scheduled that, the weather warmed up and I stopped hearing them. I called Matt to cancel, he said no problem and if I started to hear them again, he would be more than happy to reschedule. Exactly four days later, the scratching returned and there was no doubt that they were in the attic (the scratching was not near the edge of the house, but right above my head). I called Matt first thing and he was able to fit me in later that same day. He inspected my attic and noted that there were track marks through the insulation. I had suspected that I knew the entry point (it's where my air conditioning lines enter the attic) and he agreed. He set a trap at the entry point and blocked off all sides of the entry point so that the squirrels would have to enter and exit through the trap. The next morning we trapped the first squirrel. Over the next few days we did not catch any, but I could still hear the scratching in my attic. Matt said that they sometimes hide out in the attic when it's cold, but never for more than a few days. He came by and put bait in the trap and later that day I had another squirrel. The only problem was that this time, the trap didn't kill the squirrel, it was very much alive and tearing apart shingles. I called Matt right away and within two hours he was back at my house to remove the squirrel and set the trap again. He made that second visit to my house at nearly 7pm which really impressed me and was a huge relief since I knew the squirrel was suffering and causing damage to my roof. He also inspected my roof and said that all the flashing was intact and offered to replace the shingle. I have a homeowners association who is responsible for my roof, so I said I would rather let them do it. We've still got a few more days of setting the trap before he closes the entry point, but I have no doubt the remainder of the job will be completed without a problem.

Noticed dead animal smell in attic, and found and removed 1 squirrel. Called Trutech who called back within an hour and came the next day. The assigned service technician was Matt. He did a thorough scan of the roof and located two areas of entry. Their philosophy is to attempt to trap before sealing the locations, otherwise the squirrels will try to force themselves back in. He gave us the choice of live or lethal traps and we selected live. A fixed price was given based on the work required. They then set and checked traps over the next two weeks, and also located and removed a second dead squirrel. They always called ahead, and accommodated to our schedule. They also pointed out where the squirrels had chewed on electrical wiring. A total of 4 live squirrels were captured and removed, and they then sealed the entry locations. They will come back and re-trap at no additional charge if any squirrels re-enter in the next 30 days. I was very impressed with their expertise and professionalism, and especially with their patience. They wanted to do the job right instead of getting it over with, which is why I felt the cost was worth it.
