Triangle Tile & Granite. Inc.

After looking at reviews of Triangle T&G, I received an online estimate. While a bit higher than some others, I decided to go with them, as they were super professional, responsive, and helpful over the phone and through email. After providing measurements and a few pictures of the project along with the new tile I had chosen, they were able to provide not only an estimate, but also recommendations for grout color and type, caulking, and sealer, as well as where to purchase these items. I lucked out that someone had recently rescheduled their job, so an opening popped up for about 5 days after I confirmed I'd be going with them. I was told they generally schedule 2-3 weeks out so keep that in mind. I was given the window of 8-9:30 AM of when they would arrive, and the team of 2 arrived right around 9. They were very polite and worked throughout the day until 5:30 PM. The work they performed was fantastic and efficient; they removed the old tile that looked like it had set in for years, installed new drywall, cutout a small portion of a window sill, and installed and seal the new mosaic tile I had chosen. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better job other than a minor crack in the paint/wall where the tile ends, likely due to the hammering from the demo. This doesn't bother me as it is not noticeable and cannot easily be seen. While maybe not the cheapest option, Triangle T&G perform great work and have superb customer service. I highly recommend.

Overall, I am very happy with the installed shower. The cost estimate was a bit off, as an item was left off (their mistake) and I asked for an additional item. They were able to demo and install the shower in 3.5 days. It did take an another week to get them back out to reinstall the baseboard to completely finish the job, as they didn?t come the day they were scheduled and I was out of town for several days.

We had an idea of how we wanted our two bathrooms to look and Lewis, representative with TTG, was extremely helpful in suggesting ideas on making our ideas realized. We are extremely satisfied with the end result and really the entire process. Out bathrooms were a hold over from the 1970s and now they are up-to-date. Lewis assisted us in selecing the size and shape of the new tile to make each bathroom appear larger.. John, another rep from TTG, was also helpful. We initially wanted both bathrooms to have a walk in shower, but John said, from a resale point of view, it would be better to keep one bathroom with a tube because of people with children. GREAT work with great people!

The workers were very quick and clean. We were very happy with the final product. The only hiccups were we were told they would be working at our house Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. When no one showed up Tuesday and I called, I was told that no one would be there that day and they'd come Thursday instead. It would have been nice to been made aware of that in advance. Also, a chipped accent tile was installed and it took a few days and a couple of emails for the manager to get back to me to resolve the issue. In the end, we were happy with the final product and the price we paid for it.

He came out, he was great. We really liked him but his quote was a little high so we didn't use him. The salesman that came out to the house was so very personable and knowledgeable about the area. He gave us ideas that we hadn't thought about. He directed us to a tile company that had a good selection of tiles, reasonably priced. He was very efficient about getting back to us. Whenever we had questions and sent an email, within a day or two at the most he would get back to us. but he never pressured us. We never felt pressured. So we will use them.

We met Lewis Mustian at the granite warehouse, where he patiently toured the massive selection of granite slabs and helped us choose the granite variety for our countertops. Next, we went to the tile store where again, Lewis patiently helped us choose tile and grout, with plenty of pointers regarding pros/cons on various options. Since much of our kitchen was simultaneously being rebuilt by our restoration contractor, TGT had to work with the schedule of other construction tasks - which went smoothly. When TGT's tile installer showed up - wow - the artistry and skill that he displayed in putting up the backsplash was just great. Meanwhile, the granite was carefully templated by another TGT expert. When the guys showed up to install the granite countertops, everything was perfect - except that the island had not yet been carried in from the garage and installed after the hardwood floor replacement. No problem - they muscled the 350 pound island granite top back to the truck without a word. Meanwhile, the fit and cutting of the cabinet countertops was just about perfect. However, I noticed that one edge had not received its final polishing step, having a slight roughness. TGT cheerfully fixed that on-site, right away. The island top was brought back and installed promptly after the island was bolted to the floor. The island is rectangular with pull-out drawers right below the top edge on one side of the rectangle. What really impressed me regarding the island is that although the corners over the pull-out drawers had to be small-arc curves for clearance into the drawers, the two other corners did not have the clearance issue - and TGT made those large-arc curves. Such thoughtfulness! So I meant to write this up last year but never got around to it. Earlier in 2013 - March - I called TGT asking if I could buy some colored caulk because the joint between the countertops and backsplash needed re-sealing. Settling of the heavy granite makes that joint crack after the install, so I wasn't surprised by it. Well, when Lewis Mustian returned my phone message about buying caulk, he said he would have someone come out and re-seal the joint for us - no charge - more than a year after they finished our project! Now that is cool!

I enjoyed working with these guys. They really know what they are doing. I was looking to replace countertops to get a house ready to sell. Jimmy Dean helped me stay in my price range. The counters look awesome. One word of caution that most people probably know because they actually researched before doing this. Counters and faucet don't go in on the same day. The result was a bit of a scheduling nightmare. They stuck with me though and got it done.

Lewis with Triangle Custom Granite listened to what we wanted, guided us in selection of the granite and gave us the feeling we were in solid, professional hands. The measuring was very exact and the installation was a marvel to watch. They were not the least expensive, but in our opinion, they are delivered a beautiful and well fitted counter-top exactly as promised. I would use again and recommend without hesitation.

I liked their professionalism. They were a fine company. The only problem was that they were expensive. They were 30% higher than what I ended up getting for. There was no problem of getting hold of them. They were nice.

We needed a special countertop for a bathroom we were remodelling. A friend recommended Triangle Custom Granite. We went to their showroom and found the perfect quartz material, with beautiful blue sparkles that highlight the area beautifully. They built the countertop to our measurements. We installed it and are loving it every time we go into the room!
