My husband and I visited the location in Raleigh and we were treated very kindly by the gentleman that took our order and serviced us. However when our delivery was made by the store manager of this location we were not happy with the way that our flagstone pallets because they were highly damaged and broken. We ordered 2 pallets and at delivery the second pallet unloaded on the first causing that first pallet to be highly impacted. I called the store because I was explained that the pallets would tip over but I was never told that I would experience the flagstone crushed or broken into pieces. I spoke to the manager and he specifically told me he had been the one to deliver my merchandise. I explained to him that I was not expecting my flagstone to be crushed to that extent and he insisted that he was the manager and that was a great job he had done in unloading. I paused after realizing that he would not let me express my concern for the merchandise and that I was not happy but he kept talking over my explanation and I said thank you sir and he very rudely hung up the phone on phone not even acknowledging my concern. I heard the phone hit when he hung up. I have to truly say that I have never been treated like this by a male before and this was not a professional nor ethical way to treat someone. This experience left a very bad impression on me and I will be contacting the owner because if he is not already aware of how this gentleman is treating people he truly needs to be made aware.

Delivered as promised. Assured me several times at the site and even on delivery of how great a product I was getting for my garden. Only after my friend asked me what tree company give me that chopped up wood mulch, was I able to admit that maybe I had been duped. Even after a year there are 5 to 8 inch shards of pine wood out in the garden. I threw some of them in the fire pit. Boy, do I feel stupid. The dog has enjoyed chewing on some of the sticks. Pine Straw was old and no longer that nice golden color.
Description of Work: This review is for the North Raleigh Gresham Lake Location. They advised me on mulch products, then delivered the products: 6 cubic yards of pine bark mulch and some pine straw.

I'm not the kind of person to go leave bad feedback unless a company is REALLY screwing up badly. So on September 13, 2014 I called Triangle Landscape Supplies, during business hours, and there was no answer. I wish I walked away right then, because if a company won't answer during business hours you know something is up. So I left a message, saying I needed some unfiltered top soil, and to please call me back. No call back. Next day, I call again, during business hours, AGAIN no answer! Normally I would have just not bothered with such a business, but on their website they advertise unfiltered top soil for $12/yard, and I wanted to save some money. So Monday comes and goes, still no call back, nothing. On Tuesday, I call and actually get a human being. She tells me that as of THAT DAY all the prices are raised. I ask can I please have the rate listed on their website, but they just said their website is out of date and too bad. So I ask what is the delivered price now - $17 per yard. I figured and quot;okay, I guess I can do 17$ per yard - it's still not too bad of a price.and quot; So I go ahead and ask to order 15 yards. At that point they transfer me to the garner office. I ask again about the website prices, in case I get somebody honorable I figured maybe they would give me the price that they have on their own site (they still list the old price on their website by the way) but no dice. So I'm trying to order unfiltered top soil but the guy is super insistent that I get filtered top soil. I ask, and quot;how much more is filtered top soil?and quot; and the guy tells me and quot;$20 per yard.and quot; He also says i'd be much better off because the unfiltered soil is full of sticks. I ask how much sticks and he says TONS and basically tells me the dirt is almost all sticks. So I say fine, I guess I can do 20$ per yard for filtered soil how much is that? (Keep in mind THEY ADVERTISE SCREENED TOP SOIL ON THEIR WEBSITE RIGHT NOW FOR $16 PER YARD! http://www.trianglelandscapesupplies.com/order/index.html and that's 18$ per yard delivered!) So he adds up the total and says its $23 a yard, plus tax! Thats almost double what I was planning to pay! I tell him I need to check around but he says and quot;you won't find it cheaper anywhere else.and quot; They said they could deliver the next day so I bit the bullet and ordered filtered top soil for 23$ a yard + tax. They offer a morning delivery and tell me they will be there between 7 and 12. So today, 9-17, I wake up at , prep the area to get 15 yards of dirt dumped, take off the morning of work, and WAIT. 10 o'clock... I'm drinking coffee, got the wheelbarrow ready, waiting. No phone call no nothing. 11 rolls around, still nothing. Noon arrives, and I call the company. You guessed it - no answer! So I keep calling and calling and calling and sometimes I get a busy signal so I know they are there and just not answering... After about 6 calls and 20 minutes later the guy answers. I ask why my delivery never came and he says and quot;Well the truck didn't come back so I couldn't deliver.and quot; By the tone of his voice he seems mad at ME for calling! I tell him I just took the whole morning off work to wait, they couldn't even call to say and quot;Hey we are running late, and quot; and then it's an adventure just trying to get them on the phone. This is the worst possible way to run a business and all I can say is save your time and AVOID!
Description of Work: They did nothing because they never showed up.

Triangle Landscape Supplies was very good to work with. They were very friendly and helped me decide the products that we needed for our job. They have high quality products, and their prices were reasonable. The only reason I didn't rate them Excellent across the board was because it took a little longer than we had planned on to get the product delivered, but this was in large part due to weather (frequent rains) at the time.

They were an excellent, timely, friendly, provider. He spread the gravel with the dump truck where possible, saving us a ton of backbreaking shoveling.
