Very Good experience. Minor blips but fixed quick. Will hire again.

Initially they were very courteous and professional but after confirming my appointment twice, once via email and once via phone, they reached out a third time to request a service fee. I canceled the appointment because, while I would have been happy to pay the service fee if it had been discussed as part of either of the first two confirmations, I personally feel to reach out a third time, on the morning of the appointment (after previously confirming the appointment twice), to request a service if is unprofessional and made me question their ability as a company to do the work I needed promptly and professionally.

We were not so impressed. The ad said that he would have some kind of tool to clean algae out of the line and he didn't have it with him. It took him 15 minutes to go through this 27 point check up on our unit. Basically he went through and pointed out parts that were going to fail soon and that we need to take care of it. He left us paperwork on if we were to buy a service contract with his company and he was gone. My husband said he didn't see any 20 things being checked. We were most concerned about the lines being clear, that's one of the points, that they run something through the coolant lines to make sure they were clear. He didn't have them on the truck so he couldn't do it. Didn't come back to do it, he just didn't do it, like, but I paid for that. To improve they could be thorough, do what they say they're going to do. The best part was anticipating getting my air conditioner tuned up. The worst part of the experience was the tune up.

Fantastic work. I stood by the tech during all work just to get a better understanding of my HVAC system. He explained everything! Great guy!

They could improve by giving low prices even though you're still a member. I would consider using Thermo Direct Inc.'s services again in the future.

Very friendly technician called 30 minutes before arriving. Conducted an assessment of the health of the gas pack and recommended a coil cleaning along with the regular maintenance I initially requested. He also identified a capacity issue that was easily resolved with a replacement item.

Brian was on time, personable, knowledgeable and efficient. No high pressure sales pitch or questionable recommendations. Honest and straightforward condition report.

Thermo Direct, Inc. determined the repair needed would involve replacement of expensive system parts that would not be covered by Choice Home Warranty. A second opinion by Blue Sky HVAC resulted in the repair being done at a significant savings.

It wasn't so good because basically his entire analysis was wrong. He said he couldn't do any testing because something was wrong with the system, so he couldn't even do the tune up, because there was something wrong with the system. I have a home warranty program, so I called them up and they came out, and there was nothing wrong with, so basically the entire analysis of the guy from who I bought the deal was wrong. I asked the guy of the company that the home warranty sent out why the big difference, and he said a lot of the other technicians are not trained. They are trained more to be salesmen, so they are too afraid to adjust the part on there. He said it is a basic thing and they should do that. There was no extra part, and everything was fine, there were no issues. I paid for nothing, there was no service done. The pricing was fine.

The service technicians and those at the main office were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

The service provider was very professional, friendly and competent. I will use ThermoDirect again.

They did alright. They were way out of the ball pack. They were responsive and were here on time.

thought the initial presentation was excellent, was informative, answered all my answers, wasn't rushed and a "can" type of situation, covered a lot of things, gave as much time as needed for the sale, no pressure given, treated the way anybody would want to be treated with the amt of money paid, felt comfortable, product was good, installer was timely and did a great job installing the system, did a beautiful and professional job, they also completed the rebate form, all i needed to do was sign it and forward it to the rebate center to start the process

It was easy getting up with the company and the technician came out in a timely manner. They troubleshoot my AC and told me I had a bad TXV valve. Got back to me the next day and said it would be $1,600 to replace the part. Also said they would come out and quote me a new unit if I wanted to go that route instead. For something that expensive I new I needed a second opinion. I spoke to the building manager of my work and he recommended http://www.jordanshvac.net/ saying he had worked with him in the past. They came out, I told them what Thermo Direct had said. He said $1,600 was not an unreasonable price for replacing the valve. He was not sure that was the actual problem though. He discovered the real problem to be a clogged drain pipe, which was causing the AC to shut off as a safety mechanism (so water doesn't flood your floor). He unclogged the drain pipe and put a pound of freon in and AC has been working fine since. I don't know whether it was purely an incompetent diagnosis or there was some malicious intent to fleece me, but either way, if I had listened to thermo direct I would have been out $1,600 and still had a broken AC. I will not be doing business with them again.

Thermo Direct made 3 visits to our house - two to diagnose the system and one to make estimates on a new system. We have two systems - one upstairs and one downstairs. They were not cooling the house properly. Thermo Direct came out and decided the upstairs unit had a clogged drain line. They unclogged it and the system worked fine. The downstairs unit was determined to have leaks in the coils in the attic and no pressure in the system. The system would have to be replaced - either just the air conditioning part or the whole unit (furnace and air conditioning). The estimates for replacement were $3500 for just the air conditioning and $7000 to $8000 for the whole thing. I wasn't happy since we had just bought and moved into this townhouse. So, I called the heating and cooling folks from my old house. Their diagnosis was quite different. No leak and the pressure was fine. The coils in the attic had labels dated 2014 and they were very new. They replaced the capacitors in the blower motors of the units in the attic and sealed up the systems. Now they run fine - for a cost of $300. I'm no expert but something is amiss with such radically different conclusions. So far the system is running fine and I will continue to have my old heating and cooling folks handle the systems in our new townhouse. The warranty company that sent out Thermo Direct did nothing for us since Thermo Direct decided there was a leak and leaks just aren't covered by the warranty. But that's a different review and story. The lesson for me here is that second opinions are sometimes a good thing.

They were on time and did a quality job.

It took approximately two days, and the repair was fairly complicated. However, the contractors were upfront about the cost and the repair requirements from the get-go. Their early guesses about the scope/price were accurate, and they kept us up-to-date as the repair was in progress. It was a great experience. It was a little pricy, but insurance covered that.

They did what they were supposed to do. They recommended a service matter and we did that, and they were able to do it on the same visit. They're prompt, and they seem professional.

The service turned okay and I was very happy. They were very professional.
