+ -1 moreOur backyard suffered from the following- Dead fescue and complete infestation of weeds in the grass area (around 3,000 square feet) Drainage issues due to improper grading, runoff from neighbors, and incorrectly routed gutters Matt came out and walked the property with me, offered suggestions to correct the drainage problems, and presented options for turf renovation/replacement. He dug trenches and rerouted all of our downspouts to a network of corrugated pipes that connect to a pair of outlets carrying the water away from our property and into the wooded buffer behind the house. They then regraded the entire yard, creating natural areas around the perimeter and bringing in substantial new fill to serve as a base for the new sod. The new sod was installed properly and has done very well despite being installed somewhat late in the season. The work performed has transformed the yard. We had been contemplating this job for some time and are very glad we chose the Riordan Co. to perform the work.
Description of Work: Total renovation of backyard including drainage work, grading, and installation of new TifGrand Bermuda Sod as well as a new poured concrete walkway.

Description of Work: Have seen this company performing many jobs in my subdivision in Apex/Cary. I called the owner to ask if he could do landscaping for me in North Raleigh at a rental of mine. I explained to him the landscapers I had in the past knew the house was a rental and would do low quality work with a big price tag! He was very kind and professional. He went out and sent me a reasonable estimate. I decided to go with riordan company and hired the team for the job. The backyard before resembled a jungle! After he finished is was beautiful. The flower beds in front looked awesome. Great company!

Description of Work: We have used Matt Riordan for ongoing services for almost a year now. He does several types of Lawn and Garden/Landscaping/Yard drainage issues/new sod etc. He is very professional and a perfectionist. We are always very happy with the jobs he has performed and would highly recommend him to anyone.
