We've used this company before and have been happy. On this occasion we simply called in our order and were told they were booked solid for the day we wanted delivery, but they'd work us in. Did they ever! 12:30 our order was delivered by the nicest gentleman who truly cared about doing his job right. Polite and efficient. Excellent customer service!

All went well.

After checking pictures and downloading the price list at their website, I decided to order some mulch. I called on 7/19/11 but was still unsure of which type of mulch to choose. The woman was pleasant as she answered my questions and helped me decide. I chose four cubic yards of Double Shredded Hardwood Bark at a price of $25.00/cubic yard. She said that because the delivery would be near their location (about 5 miles) and because I was ordering 4 cu yds, they would wave the delivery fee. She asked when I wanted it delivered. I said, and quot;As soon as possible.and quot; She said, and quot;How about tomorrow morning, about 10:30?and quot; I said, and quot;Great.and quot; She asked me where I wanted the load to be dumped and I told her. She said the delivery person would call before coming. The next morning the delivery guy called at about 10:00, introduced himself as Charlie and said he was leaving Mulch Masters and would be at my house in a few minutes. He arrived 15 minutes later, backed the truck up my driveway without running over my lawn, double-checked where I wanted it dumped, and dumped the load exactly where I pointed. We exchanged pleasantries, he gave me a copy of the invoice and left. He was efficient, amiable and professional. Later I realized that, at $25.00/cu yd, they charged less than their published price of 28.00/cu yd. So not only did I get free delivery (which, let's face it - they really didn't have to offer), but I saved $12.00 on the mulch itself (They gave me this discount without my even asking). Overall, I'd say Mulch Masters is a class act.

My husband likes to put the mulch down himself. Last year we had blown in mulch. We had to change the delivery date a couple of times and they were very accommodating. It was supposed to rain the day they delivered and we had made arrangements that they would put a tarp over it. They made sure it was covered and put bricks down so it wouldn't blow off. They did a nice job of trying to make it useful to us. My husband had looked at the different colors and textures that they offered. They were not the least expensive, but they were not the most expensive either.
