Work was done on time & professionally.

Outstanding work done by Lance and Travis. Extra cleaning steps and time were required, but no extra cost. Everything was explained thoroughly and done expertly.

Kent did a very thorough job of cleaning out my ducts. I was shocked at the amount of dirt that came out. One of the vents in the bedroom used to make noise when the heat was running. This no longer happens, since the cleaning was done. Thanks Kent.

We used Sears last time and the quoted price was lower but once sears got here the hidden fees started piling up. This time we called The Mad Hatter and the price they quoted over the phone was the price we paid. The workers were very friendly and professional. They explained everything and gave us good advice to keep the system working it’s best. They didn’t try to up sell us. I was very happy with their work.

They probably didn't need to perform the sweep after the inspection, but they did. Which was another 60 dollars. The two sweeps were nice and did their work efficiently. They did not talk much and it was a slightly awkward experience in that way. Luckily, I am quite awkward myself, so it was not too much of thing for me. Overall a good experience, I just wish the sweeps would have told me what they were doing as I enjoy learning new things.

Mad Hatter's crew did a phenomenal job! The cleaned all our ducts and dry vent. The were very careful to protect our furniture and carpets and did a walk through with us before leaving. PROS: The guys got a ton of gunk out of my ducts. I bought the house from someone who had run it into the ground as a rental property, neglecting maintenance for years, so the ducts were in bad shape. There was technically a filter in there when I got the house, but it was so decrepit that it was just a floppy mess. The air quality is definitely better now- my three month sinus infection of doom cleared up (granted with the help of antibiotics) and has not returned. The guys were also nice and I got to hear some stories about wild things they've encountered while cleaning ducts/chimneys. CON->PRO: A con that became a pro is that they broke the control board on my furnace, so that the furnace wouldn't ignite, however they completely repaid me for the repair costs, so in the end it became a pro, because they stood by their work, even though they ended up actually losing money on the deal. As a first-time home buyer whose finances are very tight right now, I can't even say how much it meant that they were willing to reimburse me for the repairs. I would definitely consider hiring them again in the future, although now that there is a proper filter in place, hopefully I won't need any more duct-cleaning.

It went very well. Other Angie-recommended companies needed much more time to schedule the job. Being able to do the job at short notice very valuable for someone trying to sell house to a willing buyer. In the end, chimney so clean sweeping not needed, so price only $89.

I thought I might need a chimney cleaning, since I purchased my townhouse over two years ago and hadn't had it done and didn't think the previous owners had done it either. I also wanted to get my dryer vent cleaned, if it was needed. They inspected both and determined that I wouldn't need anything done for about another year at the earliest and I sincerely appreciated their honesty and professionalism! They didn't do any unnecessary work just because they were on site. This company has integrity, fair pricing and smart techs, I'd HIGHLY recommend them and they will be called again when I need these services done in a year or so! Use this company with confidence!

As far as I can tell, they did an excellent job. I quickly looked over the areas the two staff worked on, and signed them out. Later I noticed they could have done a better job cleaning up, as there appeared to be particulate matter around some of the vents openings that I had to go back over and clean up. But overall they were polite, showed up an hour early and did a good job. I would use them again.

We were not home when service was performed, but everything went smoothly in terms of scheduling.

They were a little late, but it was due to an earlier appt running long, so not a big deal. Came and diagnosed the issue quickly, then resolved and cleaned the dryer venting. All done within an hour.

Travis and Ivory showed up on time (early actually), this is something that is very important to me. They inspected the fireplace and was told that is was clean and nothing needed to be done at this time. Do to the fact that the flue did not need cleaning they gave me a discount on the duct cleaning. They proceeded to clean our air vents that had not been cleaned since the mid 80's. You could actually hear all the junk that was being cleared from the vents. They laid down tarps to protect the flooring and vanities. They took their time and had me inspect the premises to make sure everything was cleaned to my satisfaction. This service was done on our rental. I was so impressed I'm going to hire them to come and service our main home. I highly recommend them. They are very good about responding to the emails that I sent regarding to these services.

Kent and Travis came and were prompt and courteous. I had indicated there was an unusual odor and so the men inspected the ducts from the crawlspace before starting to clean them. I was very impressed when they came back out and said, "They are not worth cleaning - save your money!" How delightful to get honest and straight forward reporting. So I highly recommend them for their integrity and honesty and we are now looking at HVAC contractors for replacement work. Thank you Kent!! They only charged us for the inspection. I will definitely call them again when I need ducts cleaned!
