There was a huge mix-up regarding the booking. They seemed to have lost my reservation so no one showed up on the day in question. I made a call and once that was cleared up they made swift arrangements to rectify the situation. Clearly they care. They sent me their top team, Lance and Ivory, to come and do the service. They arrived mid-afternoon and worked until late to get the job done. They did an excellent job, were thoroughly professionally and very eager to make up for the earlier problem. I was very impressed with both their professionalism and the quality of their work. I will definitely use them again. They go out of their way to fix any customer concerns AND do a great job! The guys from The Mad Hatter were very professional and knowledgeable. They explained how long I should expect to go between my next dryer vent cleaning and the reason why so much lent dust was collecting in my laundry room. Very good experience, I plan on checking with them first when it comes time to clean the house duct work system next year.

When their guy came out I have crawl space underneath my house and it was raining. He got in the crawl space in the rain, mud and bugs to clean the ducts. They were thorough and professional. They just blew me away because they spent a lot of hours doing the work and were very reasonably priced for what I had done. I actually have two different buildings and two different systems that they serviced. The weather did not faze them whatsoever. They had a job to do and they did it. They were courteous, pleasant, incredibly professional and I thought a good value. I also used an Angie's List Big Deal for this service which helped with the value. Their ad in the Yellow Pages was the best I have seen. There were two people here for about 7 hours and I had over 40 vents to clean out. It was a big job and I consider it a very good value.

two technicians were on time and knowledgeable! W#ork was done on a timely basis and they explained what they were doing. Turned out we actually knew one of the tech from a prior job he had years ago (found that out when he arrived). we would definitely recommend this company.

The crew called ahead to make sure they had directions and arrived promptly. They wore shoe covers and took extra precautions to make sure the hoses did not leave marks on the carpets. They were polite and professional and did an excellent job cleaning and sanitizing the ducts, cleaning the register grates, cleaning the dryer vent, and vacuuming the air handlers. The owner, Jerry, was very thorough in his explanation of the services and his pricing is very competitive. I would definitively use this company again.

Before we moved into the house in Nov. 2011 we wanted a clean air system and Mad Hatter came and did a full service on the duct work for our 4,000 sq.ft. 20 year old house for under $700 including chimney and dryer vent - I used an Angie's List coupon. In July 2013 we noticed a mildew odor coming from the main return in the foyer of the house and called Mad Hatter to come and clean again. They told me that they only recommend a cleaning every 3 years or so, and our cleaning had been only 18 months before, so they doubted that it needed a full service, but scheduled one anyway for later in the week. Lance and Ivory showed up on time and investigated. They found the odor coming from the crawl space and suggested that the solution to the problem would be sealing and dehumidifying the crawl space, not cleaning the entire duct system. They cleaned dust out of the main return plenum and disinfected and deodorized the whole system and charged me under $200, rather than the nearly $700 it would have cost to clean the whole system. They were knowledgeable, polite, thorough and professional, and clean (booties on my carpet.)

The team of two arrived on time and were dressed so as to keep my house clean (or at least as clean as it was when they arrived). There was lint and such stuck far back in the venting beneath the house, and they were able to get it all removed. Our dryer (which we thought was dying) now works as if it was brand new. We will happily use Mad Hatter again and this time we will not wait so long. I highly recommend this friendly, effective company.

On time, explained everything well. At end of cleaning showed me some mildew buildup in the furnace area. They treated it and offered to come back free in six months if it came back again.

The two men came and were very professional. They showed respect for my home. They covered their shoes and put protective cloths on my carpet to prevent any damage. The builders of my home had not properly installed all of the vents. They glued them instead of screwing them in. The two gentlemen made sure they were properly screwed in at no extra cost. I spoke to the owner Jerry and let him know how great a job they had done.

They were punctual and thorough. Both gentlemen were polite and very careful to protect all furnishings.

They did a terrific job. They showed up right on time; got to work immediately; cleaned out the exhaust port on the dryer itself, the host to the wall, the entire duct to the outside, the flapper assembly outside, and then reassembled everything and cleaned up behind themselves. Their cost, which is based on number of floors in the home plus length of exhaust run and bends in the exhaust, was EXACTLY as quoted. They even provided a "walk thru" to show what they had done, and answer any questions you might have. I was very happy and will use them again.

I called and they gave me an appointment for the next day. They gave me the cost on the phone, based on whether the dryer is on the first or second floor, and whether the exit vent is on ground level. They arrived early and got right to work. They were professional, courteous, and knew what they were doing. They inspected the whole line first to be sure they could see the flex connection to the hard pipe and the length of the whole line. They had all the right equipment and removed a startling amount of lint. (I watched at their invitation.) They inspected after they were done to be sure they hadn't disturbed the flex connection and they had properly re-attached the vent cover. They cleaned up every bit of stray lint that was generated in the work. The cost was precisely what they quoted, and they told me that the next time I called I would get a previous-customer discount. First rate job and a very fair price, and I will definitely use them again. I recommend without any reservation.

It went great. The service technicians we have worked with, Ivory and Kent, are polite and professional. For a quality chimney cap and installation we felt their prices were great. We have recommended their services to family and friends.

A fantastic service experience from the time they answered my initial call to request an estimate by phone to the time they concluded all work and left my home. They provided all services requested on the date requested and in a very thorough and professional manner. They did not attempt to gain access to our home and then upsell their services once on-site. They treated our home and possessions with care and cleaned up after themselves before they left. I would absolutely use their services again at such time as they are needed and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone. Several members of our immediate and extended family have allergies and asthma, and I have already seen a remarkable change in our level of comfort and symptoms!

Service call was outstanding. We have used mad hatter in the past for chimney cleaning so when we saw they did dryer vent cleaning we looked no further and booked them. The appt was made for within 4 days of my call. But here's the best part. After the inspection the rep said there really wasn't a problem and he charged us a much lower amount than we were quoted. We were very impressed with the honesty demonstrated by the rep. I would highly recommend.
