 + 0 moreThe job was very well done. They listened to my suggestions and they installed the stove as I asked them to. It works really well. He went on top of my chimney and he removed a piece of metal. He is going to bring it back after working on it in his machine shop, but he has not brought it back yet. While he was here he made some adjustments to a gas insert that was previously installed so now that one is working better and he did that free of charge. I told them I was really happy with it and the stove. It could have been cheaper, but I know it was a lot of work and it is a nice stove. Overall I am really happy with it. I don't think he is outlandishly priced. He was very careful to get things centered and tucked in as far as it would go. He kept going back and forth on top of the roof and then coming back down. It had to be rescheduled because the original installer fell off the roof at somebody else's house. They could not help that so they had to reschedule me a couple of times. It was installed a lot later than it was supposed to be. They came when they said they were going to come. They were very good.
Description of Work: I used The Fire Place and Patio to put in a gas fireplace insert and a stove.

 + 0 moreWe primarily worked with John, who talked to us in the showroom, suggested the best product for us, came out to measure, presented a quote, and was the lead in installation. Installation was scheduled easily, took less time than I anticipated and went smoothly, with great attention to detail, precision and clean-up. This company takes pride in its work, both the technical and aesthetic aspects. The remote control was explained to us in detail, with assurance that our questions are always welcome. We wrote a check for exactly the price quoted, no surprises, and we are enjoying a gas fireplace insert that is providing both a beautiful look and more warmth than we'd even hoped.
