Successful Staging LLC

My husband and I thought we were pretty savvy home stagers--having bought and sold three houses for a good profit--but with the changes in the real estate market, we had doubts about how best to prepare our house to sell. We decided we needed expert advice. We were referred to Successful Staging by a well regarded realtor. I contacted Bobbie via email, she responded right away, and we set up a date and time for a consultation. Bobbie arrived right on time with her assistant, and they went straight to work. First, she did a quick tour of the house, and then she went room by room, explaining what we could do to make each room photograph better and appeal to a buyer. Her advice included tips on furniture placement, paint colors, lighting, organization, art work, and repairs. We were thoroughly impressed with her quick decision making skills and her ability to effortlessly explain each decision. My husband and I were amazed at Bobbie's energy and creativity. She knew just how to play up the strong features of our home and play down the flaws. The best part is that she saved us tons of money. For what we paid Bobbie, I would have gone out and bought a rug and mirror--two items I THOUGHT were needed in our living room. WRONG! Bobbie simply rearranged some art work and urged us to go rugless to show off our hardwood floors. Voila! Spending two hours with Bobbie was exhilarating. Instead of feeling in the dark about how to ready our house for the market, I feel inspired and confident. My husband and I watch a lot of HGTV, and I could not help thinking, as I heard Bobbie talk, that she might one day have her own TV show. She is THAT good. I feel so lucky to have heard about her from our realtor, and the minute Bobbie left our house I emailed our realtor to thank her for the referral.
