Streamline Services, Inc

The people from Streamline Plumbing & Electric Inc had cancelled the initial appointment and had to reschedule but, the plumber and the electrician came out. It was quite expensive. I was happy though with the work they did.

I purchased a new refrigerator with an ice maker and needed to have a new water line and shut off valve installed in order for the ice make to work. Two plumbers came out to the house and assessed the situation and gave me two options. I chose the option that i thought was best and they completed the job without a hitch and in good time. They also discussed their President's Club Program which offers many benefits (and discounts) to their customers. I liked their service because they were thorough, professional and all their prices were spelled out in black and white on the service order based on the level of work needed.....no inflated prices. Great job!

As several pieces of hardwood flooring needed replaced, we asked Streamline if they knew of someone who did this work. They recommended a person they have worked with, who also did a fine job for us. It did take a couple of days to fit in our flooring job. After the flooring work was done, we called Streamline to let them know and Brian returned promptly at 8 am the next morning to reinstall the toilet. He completed his work very well and also did a neat job caulking. We appreciated the fact that before ever stepping in our home, he wore protective shoe covering to protect our floors. Everything was neat and clean when the work was completed. Nothing was done without a complete explanation of why the work should be done and it was only done with our approval. Payment was not required until all work was completed. All pricing was explained to us beforehand

Our interaction with them was fine. I would recommend them to others for any kind of electrical work. I have nothing to compare their prices with, though.

Overall, we were very impressed with Streamline. We had to contact them on a Sunday morning, so it was an emergency call. In this type of situation, one doesn't know what to expect in terms of who is going to show up. Streamline responded promptly to our call. As mentioned above, they were very professional, courteous, and willing to explain to us what was going on, etc. We definitely will use them again.

We contacted the company and Ken came out promptly to give us a quote. He was very professional and informative. Out of all of the companies we received quotes from, 5 in all, he knew the most about the tankless water heaters and explained everything to us in terms we could understand. They were even helpful and provided a company we could contact, when we considered putting in a humidifier on our house, which we decided not to do. They showed up promplty on the scheduled day of work. They had a team come in and remove the old water heaters from our attic. They did not make any mess and cared about our property. They capped off the pipes in the attic. They had the new tankless system up and running promptly. Also, they gave us all of the necessary information and paperwork to get the rebates that were being offered in 2010. Our neighbors across the street recommended Streamline and we were glad we hired them. Also, our next door neighbors came over and got a quote the day Streamline was installing ours. We saw Streamline at their house the next week installing their new tankless water heater system. They also have a great warranty that is transferrable with the house. You always know Streamline is going to answer the phone with a smile and you will always get either Becky, Ken, or Richard. We love that kind of service. Our children liked the truck with the smiling face and flames. We would hire Streamline again and would highly recommend them to our friends and family. Their company is the BEST!

When he got here, we explained what we needed estimates on, he looked at our 3 situations, gave us estimates, and we told him to repair the important job, and would call back later to get other 2 jobs done.

He arrived promptly and found that it was actually the oven that was causing the problem. It didn't require any work, so I just had to pay the service fee and for his diagnostic of the problem. I felt that he was honest, professional, and provided the cheapest solution.

The water line from the street to my house developed a leak. We noticed a puddle in our finished basement storage area. After searching Angie's List, we called Streamline. Their technician came that night and verified the leak and gave us an estimate on costs. The next day, Saturday, the technician returned bright and early and installed a temporary water line between the meter and our home. In the following days, Streamline dug a channel for the new water line and bored under our driveway and front walkway. They also installed new values in the house to bring up the plumbing to current code. All work was inspected as required by code. The channel was filled in and grass seed and straw spread on the work area. I was very happy with the work of all their technicians and office staff. The technicians provided detailed answers, with a smile, for all my questions. Streamline is the only plumbing company I will call on in the future.

Streamline did an excellent job while working on our project. The office staff coordinated everything from the permits to scheduling the project flawlessly. Each Streamline employee was a pleasure to deal with. The removal/installation took longer than they expected but they stayed on-site to finish the project within a day like they promised. I'll definitely contact Streamline first for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Although Streamline wasn't able to fix my issue (the issue is with the actual Jenn-Air range, not my electrical wiring), I was more than happy with the service I received from my technician Jerry. He identified that the issue was not with the breaker, but was with the appliance. He took some time showing me what he discovered and marked my appliance where the suspected issues were so that I could relay the information to an appliance repair person. He gave me some tips on how to seal up the gaps behind my oven where the mice were getting in (and chewing on the wires in my oven.) He was a really nice guy - and was very competent, polite, and professional. Will definitely hire them again if I need electrical work, and will try them out the next time I need a plumber, too!

Two technicians arrived, one was the electrician and the other plumber. After the installation of the ceiling fans and outlets; an inspection of the house's electrical and plumbing was performed to identify and deficiencies or problems. I have used this company before and each time the technicians enter my house they immediately place booties on their shoes to protect my foors and carpeting. Estimates are completed and reviewed with you prior to starting any work. Any questions asked are answered completely and thoroughly.

Excellent work. Very conscientious about safety and doing the job right. Cleaned up after working. He even put on protective covers on his shoes to not dirty the carpet. I've never seen that before.

The work went well and I would hire again.

The charge was $395 which I thought was extremely excessive just to replace the parts inside the toilet tank. The repairman insisted that we replace the entire toilet for $600, When we refused, he had to reschedule to complete the repairs we requested and scheduled when we set the appointment because he didn't have parts on his truck. When he returned the next day, he tried again to convince my wife to spend $600 to replace the entire toilet. Again, we insisted they only complete the requested repairs which they finally did but at an excessive price in my opinion. If anyone else has experience on the proper price, I would be interested in knowing it.

Excellent customer service in scheduling appointment. Received call on the morning providing an updated estimated arrival time within 15 minutes. Upon arrival we walked through the house and identified what I wanted done. Estimated cost was provided and work began. The employee was especially careful of my home wearing shoe covers every time he entered my house. Was extremely respectful of my house, the furniture, and walls. Provided verbal updates as the work progressed.

He arrived within minutes of the appointment time, did the work, cleaned up and left. The company has a 'service charge' for coming out and making an estimate if the work isn't done. They waived the fee and said they wouldn't have charged it even if I hadn't done the work. Apparently they hadn't told the electrician that, as he offered to waive it if I did have the work done.

Had them replace a toilet....job was done fairly, it was fast, and professional Nothing glowing to write, but nothing bad either, just a solid job

Streamline saved the day for us! We were blindsided by unforeseen complicated and costly procedures required to install our new kitchen range. Other plumbers and electricians we contacted said the job would require at least two men for at least two days, if it could be done at all. Streamline finished the job in a half day, starting the very day we called. Their electrician was the only one to discover the electrical conduits already built into our home, so they needed to make only two small holes in sheet rock, not in our foundation or exterior walls as the other company claimed. The work was excellent. The service was excellent. We would recommend them to anyone and will always turn to them for our plumbing and electrical needs.

We awoke to the alarm in the water heater pan going off and knew immediately that the water heater was leaking. [on a previous visit when they repaired a faulty valve, they had advised us to get the $15 alarm to alert us to any leaks.] The alarm was very helpful to have had. They arrived as promised and advised us that the water heater had to be replaced. They also advised that water heaters now require a pressure release attachment (per code), which was in addition to the water heater. They replaced the heater with no mess at all (which was amazing) and left us a $25 gift certificate toward the cost any future visit.

Wonderful, they were dressed professionally which I appreciate, they were prompt, courteous and I find their interest in their employees well being to be refreshing and admirable.

They were really good and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They did good work, and they were always on time. If anything went over the price, they didn't charge extra because they had already given us the estimate. They were really professional.

We engaged Streamline after a bad experience with another company. Becky, Richard and Tom were wonderful to work with and we will always do so in the future. Appointments were made and Becky promptly informed us of a short delay for the estimate and called the morning of the work to let us know that Richard and Tom were on their way. The lights were hung perfectly and we will apply the new wire at the next scheduled appointment in about a week. Everyone was skilled in their respective jobs and performed as the professionals they clearly are. The price was fair but there is a "one-time dispatch fee" that we did not understand. The policy is that billing will not commence until ALL work is completed. We highly recommend Streamline.

They were very timely and efficient. There were two men that came and they were very personable. The price was reasonable. It was nice to find someone through Angie's List with a good rating. I would hire them again.

Overall, the work went very well. For the amount of time he worked the price was expensive but I understand that the certified electricians are not cheap. He completed the job in 20 minutes. They were good but their price was high.
