By referral from several friends, I called Jennifer Spencer when I was in the market for a new home in Raleigh. After talking with Jennifer, she connected me with one of her agents, who she knew would be a perfect fit for me. When I ran into an unexpected problem with my mortgage loan, Jennifer got right on it, and connected me with several trusted mortgage professionals to help out. I ended up buying new home, which was under construction. The entire team at Spencer Properties was amazing to work with from start to finish! It was so nice having a trusted and dependable team with me throughout my sales/building process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!

Spencer Properties is an amazing company. I loved working with the realtor Misha C. She was very knowledgeable and helped me through the crazy Raleigh housing market. As a first time home buyer, it was so nice knowing that Misha had my back and was able to answer all the questions that I had throughout the whole processes and even after closing on my house. We had a tremendously successful experience with Spencer Properties and I wanted to mention who we worked with. Our first experience was with Brooke Pancoast, who on her day off, met with us for the first time and two hours later we signed the contract on our new home. She effectively negotiated the sale and saved us $10,000 with her sales skills. We then met with Lisa Jackson and Jennifer Spencer and they put together a marketing plan working with our desires. They recommended that we stage our home. We worked with Amber Cole who was fun and knowledgeable and very resourceful and after our staging was done, our home looked brand new. Jennifers team is great! What is better than having one person working for you to sell your house, or find a house for you? Having a whole team! Each member specializes in their step and works together so you have the best service. My favorite part- you can always get ahold of sombody, in this market you want to have your realtor within easy reach for when you want to jump! Its the little things that count in the process, you wont be dissapointed!

Having owned about 30 homes we have worked with a lot of agents all over the country. Brooke stands among the best. Responsive and timely, she has listened carefully and tirelessly overturned every stone in our quest for the right home and lot. After following their advise on staging by a staff member, our home showed so well, HGTV asked to tape it for an episode on one of their shows. Everyone works together as a team, utilizing their best talents to provide exceptional service. Our home sold in two days with multiple offers driving the price up, over asking price. Spencer Properties take their business very seriously and provide expert advice on all steps of the process in both selling and purchasing. On the purchasing end, our agent was able to negotiate our price down. We were very pleased with all the members of the team and would highly recommend Spencer Properties.

With this being our first time home purchase, buying from out of state, and in a hot sellers market, we were nervous about the process including finding the right home for our family at the right price and being successful with an offer. Brooke Pancoast put our minds at ease as she and her colleagues stepped us through the process. She met with us a year before we were ready to start looking and took a generous amount of time with us to explain the process and possible neighborhoods. When the time came, she set up a half day of home tours for us and educated us about the pros and cons of each property. She helped us craft a successful offer for our chosen home and stayed in the loop through closing. I would not recommend this company. We felt they company as a whole practices as a dishonest and misleading business. They alter conversations and dates to benefit themselves and the company. Obviously there is not many options to negotiate price of a realtor but this company did little work and I feel they were highly over paid and under qualified to sell our home. If you like a personal feel with high standards and quality of work do not choose this Realtor to sell your home. Look elsewhere!

Having a house on the market during the holiday season is tough. We did not expect to sell until Spring, but the house sold in a little over four months. The Spencer Properties team is such a collaborative masterpiece. Initially, Jennifer Spencer and her senior listing broker, Lisa Jackson, met with us. This company's presentation is quite professional. They leave you thinking... this agent/client relationship is too good to be true or what's the catch'? Well, it is true and there's no catch. It's true that Lisa would hold our hands until we got a contract. I called to inquire about looking for other properties while our property was on the market. 1) she returned my call immediately {not just this instance, but every time I called her}, and 2) she connected me with Misha who added me to her notifications of available properties. After our house was on the market for a few months, I emailed Lisa - not for any particular reason (I suppose for reassurance). Again, she responded right away. She actually encouraged me to contact her for anything at any time. Lisa said something that stuck with me. She stated, "Each day your house doesn't sell, I take it personally, and that's why I'm going to do everything in my power to sell your house." If Lisa tells you this - believe her because she means it. I mentioned earlier this outstanding collaborative team. Paul took care of our signage and flyers. Don't be discouraged if you have limited signage for Open Houses. I didn't realize it at the time, but there's actually legalities involving excessive open house signs. Paul was very pleasant with every encounter. It was nice to see his smiling face, but many times he would arrive to take care of your yard sign and leave without being noticed. Great guy! Amber Cole helped us with staging. She's very energetic and passionate about her work. I wasn't always receptive to her ideas because I didn't think anything was wrong with my house. She reiterated that removing my personal touch was not a negative, but she needed to prepare a marketable product to attract the masses. Misha Cashion and Ann Marie Sajewicz handled our open houses. They are awesome and always left informative feedback. Once the house was under contract, Kelli McGuire held our hands through closing. To speak to Kelli's dedication, she was returning emails during off hours and even when she was home sick. We can't forget Mark Coleman who was also a pleasant contact. This company is serious about beginning to end care. Kara Smith followed up with us to discuss our experience with Spencer Properties and was genuinely interested in our satisfaction with their service. As if that wasn't kind enough, I got a personal congratulatory call from Jennifer Spencer thanking us for trusting her company with the sale of our home. The thing that this team has in common is that they ALL said, "Give me a call if you need anything or have any questions." Even when we were transitioning from being on the market to pending status, Lisa did a formal introduction of our closing team, but everyone still gives you that, 'but I'm here if you need me' good feeling. Finally, I must mention that Debra Lyte sets the tone for the company. From beginning to end, she is pleasant through and through. Whether it's setting up a meeting or making your office visit comfortable - Debra creates an atmosphere of care surrounding this entire team of incredible people. Oh, and did I mention they give away pies during the holidays and sends you awesome informative newsletters?! Bottom line, once you choose Spencer Properties you're not only getting quality, personable service - you're acquiring another family.

They did an OUTSTANDING job getting the house ready to sell and selling it, had an offer a little more than 2 days after listing it. You won't find a better real estate company to sell your home.
