Mr. Thomas Shelton of Socaz Painting came to my home to help me determine a direction for changing the color scheme of my home. He had an excellent eye and was able to find a color that would best compliment some fabrics that would not be changing. I had not been able to find this color on my own. He also gave me assurance that the other colors that I had chosen would work together. I appreciated knowing that I would not be heading down the wrong path. My impression with Mr. Shelton was that he was very knowledgeable about color and could assist anyone who was having a difficult time making a decision about paint colors.

The work crew was very professional, prompt, neat and tidy. The process that Socaz follows ensures a high quality outcome. The estimator and color specialist were very nice and always prompt on appointments. The work took 2 days to complete and they did a fantastic job. I plan on using them for further indoor painting projects.

They were great. Their price was reasonable. They were on time and that's important.

He was very responsive, both in the quoting and the actual work. The house looks fantastic! He recommended a darker shade of paint, and I am very glad I listened to him.

Worker was punctual, efficient and very attentive. All work was done within original estimate on the date agreed without delays or negative surprises. I would definitely use them again.

They did a really good job. They were kind of high on their price but they were really good about cleaning up after themselves and they were really good about helping me pick out colors that were going to look good. We did some walls with 2 walls in one color and 2 walls in another color. They were able to make it work and make it look good. They sat down and really helped with the colors, which was really good because that was an issue for me. They were real professional in the way they communicated with me and with each other. They were very helpful. They even vacuumed my rug when they were done and they moved the furniture back. They even changed a light bulb in the stairwell that was in a difficult place. They did really well on the trim. They had some really creative ideas and they expressed those and it really worked well.

It went excellent. They were responsive to every question and the quality of work was great. Very pleased. They have worked for some of my neighbors who have all given them high recommendations.

Called for an estimate on March 11th and set a date to view the property March 13th. Received a text message on March 12th at 6:30 am in the morning saying " Good Morning I sent you an estimate because for small jobs its more cost efficient to give you a ballpark because Clayton is a little out of my area. They asked me to send them dimensions and a picture instead of coming out to the house to look at the room. They then stated they don't normally do work in Clayton...my question would be why then set up a time to come see the property if you knew that already. I also was upset by the way of communication by text message the reason that was given....it was early and I didn't want to disturb you....text messages also makes noise. Would not give my money to a company that would 1. not visit property. 2. unprofessional communicate by text message instead of calling 3. apparently not understand business ethics. If you promise to do something deliver.

Socaz Painting arrived in a timely manner to give us an estimate in line with other estimates. Socaz Painting offers a color consultant which turned out to be invaluable for us because we wanted to change our colors but needed help in choosing the right colors. The color consultant frequently came to the house with samples and ideas as we went through the process of choosing color. We love the final product! Power washing is something that needs to be done before painting a house. However, my house is 40 years old and had not been painted or caulked for ten years and had a few windows that were beginning to lose their seal. In retrospect, I would have preferred to have the windows caulked before power washing if that could have been done. Socaz washed all of my windows when the job was done. The painting crew was very reliable, worked hard and followed through on making everything right. We needed some carpentry done to replace some rotting fascia boards and that was also done by the Socaz carpenter with great satisfaction to us. All in all it was a good experience and I would definitely use Socaz painting again

The owner, Torrance de Leon, gave me the estimate. He was extremely professional, helpful, and accommodating to my requests. The price was more than some of the other quotes I received, but based on the Angie's List reviews I had read, I was willing to pay more for excellent work. Torrance and his workers did not disappoint--they were punctual, careful, and thorough.. The repair and prep jobs were particularly well done/complete and distinguished this service provider from others I had used in the past. At the end of the job it appeared that the extra money was well spent.

Torrance and his team took on a tough job, worked hard through hot weather, and delivered a very good result. His crew were professional and nice to work with. I plan to use Socaz again.

Pleased with the experience and have marked them down as a first choice quote when work is needed.

Mr. Thomas Shelton is a real professional. He did a great job, although it required a second trip. I highly recommend Socaz Painting for reasonable price and professional execution.

I didn't end up going with them this time. He was my top choice although they are a little expensive but it wasn't my choice because it was part of the sell of the house that I just moved into. The guy who did the work was also the guy who came out and gave me an estimate. He was really good. He was very professional and had a lot of information. He was experienced. He did a good job with the painting. He impressed me when I talked to him. I liked him a lot. He was very responsive and got back to me. I would use him again if the price was right.

The owner came out to give me an estimate, and the estimate was a range, depending on how easily the wallpaper came off and how much damage it did. Some of the wallpaper did not come off easily, so I was very glad I didn't attempt removing it myself. The three workers came on a Friday and did all of the wallpaper removal and patching. On Saturday they did the sanding, priming, and painting. They did a wonderful job. For example, the bathroom had had several holes/imperfections in the wall, even before the wallpaper came off, and now the walls are perfectly smooth. The painting is precise around windows/baseboards, and almost no brushstrokes are visible. I am very pleased with the work and would not hesitate to use the company again.

It didn't go! They never even called me back. Your review process sucks! If I say "They never answered my request for information and pricing" I should be done. THERE WAS NO DATE OF SERVICE!

The proposal process was clear and understandble. After the removal of deteriorated items, they then came back and informed me of adittionl damage that needed to be removed and revised the proposal accordingly. This was helpful to eliminate confusion and allowed me the home owner to visually see where the additional cost was coming from. The quality of work was fine and responsiveness was great. As with anyone it always pays to inspect the work in all stages of progress. I found this was helpful to in my case to assure the work was installed as proposed and to my expectations.

The folks were absolutely awesome. Everything from the initial contact to the follow up was on time and extremely professional. The crew was thorough, very detail oriented, cleaned up well at the end of each day, accommodating, and just plain terrific. Can not say enough good things about these guys. I would bring them back in a heart beat and in fact plan on having them do some more things for us in the spring. I might add we were in the process of moving in and all the boxes and things presented no barriers for them.

I chose not to use them because their estimate was much higher than who I finally picked.

I wanted a reputable painting company to paint my house that had its on crew, was covered by liability insurance, and had lots of satisfied customers in the RTP area. After reviewing the information and comments on Angie?s List, Socaz Painting was one of two companies that stood out. I also viewed their website and liked what I saw. From the first meeting, I knew that owner Torrance De Leon was a very professional businessman. He listened carefully to the carpentry repairs and painting I requested, answered all my questions, provided in-depth recommendations, and took notes. I also liked that Socaz offered color consultation . . . a smart move on Socaz?s part! Few customers, including myself, know what paint combinations look best together once they?re on a house. I thought . . . experience counts, so why not save time and do it right the first time? I had an idea of the end result I wanted but was struggling to pick the right color for the shutters. Thomas Shelton, the color consultant, listened to what I envisioned. He thought for a moment . . . and then his eyes lit up as he pulled out a color sample. It was exactly the right color. His advice was very valuable, and I enjoyed working with him. I was very pleased with the Socaz crew . . . on time and very focused. Lewis was the first to arrive and did a nice job of pressure washing the house. Later, the rest of the crew began prepping the house. In all my years of having houses painted, I?ve never seen a crew do such a thorough job of caulking, repairing, and wrapping windows that did not need painting. I thought to myself . . . ?start right, finish right.? George, the carpenter, was very competent, responsive, and did a great job of replacing rotted wood, making repairs, etc. I was a little worried that some of the house would be ?sprayed? rather than brushed because I?ve seen houses that were not sprayed properly. Not to worry. Pablo was an absolute artist at it and a perfectionist. The finished product is far superior to what could have been done with a brush. Wow! Darren was also an expert painter. He and Pablo worked quietly and diligently over several days to complete the job. They were good natured and dodged the rain and mosquitos without complaint. Socaz also followed up to ensure that I was satisfied with every aspect of the job. I am a happy customer, got what I paid for, and highly recommend Socaz Painting.

Socaz did a great job painting our home. They were prompt and very professional. We chose Socaz because their quote was not the highest, nor was it the lowest but reasonable. The biggest problem was the rain we recieved in July which drug out the project for approximately two weeks which was of no fault of Socaz Painting. I was given help with paint choices and Socaz did everything they said they would do and more, they even pressure wahsed our driveway. Our 30 year old house is now refreshed and looks great! We had a brown on brown contemporary ranch style house with cedar siding. We updated with house with a tan paint color with creamcolor trim and brown accents for doors and shutters. We have received lots of compliments from our neighbors!

For this job, I had the staircase walls repainted for scuffs/marks and also had the front door painted to a bright red (Irish-style), with all of the trim around the front door/porch re-painted white to remove the wear-and-tear, dirt, and cobwebs, etc. Socaz provided a "painter for a day" at a cost of $400, with an additional $40 charge for them to provide the white trim paint, for a total invoice of $440. (I provided the front door and stairwell paint.) The work performed was excellent and exceeded my (and my wife's) expectations. All work was performed on the date that I requested (to juggle my work schedule) and was completed from 9 AM to 5 PM yesterday. As an added bonus, the work I originally wanted performed was done by 4 PM, so my painter spent the hour from 4-5 PM re-caulking and painting the crown molding trim on both of my staircases, saving me from having to do it this weekend. I was very pleased with that extra effort. I would definitely hire again and recommend Socaz Painting to anyone needing any paint jobs done around the house.

Socaz Painters were very helpful in getting our home ready for sale. They provided us with an estimate, sent over a color advisor to help with paint color choice and all work was done to our satisfaction. They were thorough , professional and cleaned up everything when the job was finished.
