Joel did an amazing job! He was very thorough with the inspection and walked us through some areas of concern. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us some wonderful tips on maintaining our units. I would definitely hire Joel again!

It went very well. He gave a call 20 minutes ahead of arriving. I've had heater furnace tuned up before and the previous companies were no where close to Joel's level of professinoalism and thoroughness. Joel was very thorough and looked at my HVAC system over carefully, explaining what he was doing, told the voltages he was measuring, checked on all the connections, checked gas flame etc. He was polite, informative and courteous. I received a great $ deal on tuneup but more than that the work performed by Joel was outstanding. I would definitely recommend his services and will hire services from his company again.

Joel came right on time and couldn't have been nicer. He gave very good service and a fair price, and I appreciate his professionalism and courtesy. A very pleasant fellow. I would use this company next time I need HVAC service.

Joe who came to service our heating system found that in his testing that the blower fan was not working. He gave an estimate for replacement of the fan and within two days came over and replaced the fan assembly. The fan assembly was completely rusted out and was breaking apart. He also tested the system for CO and CO2 compliance.

I do not know much about HVAC systems so I was concerned making the call, that I could be taken advantage of given I did not know this company's background either. However, it was a very good experience. Joel was very thorough and looked the system over carefully, explaining what he was doing and why. He was polite, informative and courteous. I felt like he gave me a very fair and honest price and I trusted his expertise. I would definitely recommend his services.

We were directed to Sloan Services through our realtor and neighbor who has used them extensively in the past. We were pleased with their prompt reply to a service request on a very short time table. Sloan arrived on time and completed the work order in the designated time frame we were told before their technician arrived to our new home. Sloan provided a very detailed inspection report of the existing HVAC systems and gave us multiple options for repair and replacement. We were very happy with their all around customer service and will be sourcing their services in the future.

EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! Tune up service special purchased through Angie's List as an Angie's List paid member; so the price was terrific! Joel is very knowlegable and professional. He was on time. He took his time, and explained everything he did to tune up my service. I even received a print out on the performance of my furnace. He is honest and pleasant. I've found me a new HVAC service company. Also, the company also does electrical service. So I will be using them for electrical the next time I am in need of electrical work. I'm SO pleased.

It went great! They got here fast and my air conditioning is still doing a great job! I was really in a bind, and they probably could have charged whatever they wanted but it didn't break the bank considering they were here for a good while. They were clearly working as fast as possible to make sure they got out of our way since we were all working.

I have called on Sloan Service Company several times in the past year and they have never let me down. Their technicians are skilled and responsive. More than once, they have suggested ways I can save money or make improvements at my home that turned out to be exactly what we needed. I would not use anyone else.

Just moved into a new townhome and needed a ceiling fan installed in the master bedroom along with a check of the HVAC system. Matt and Joel showed up a couple minutes before the actual appointment time so that they were prepared and ready to work on time. Matt was to perform the ceiling fan installation and immediately got to work. He was able to install the fan fairly quickly, even after having to assemble it out of the box. While Matt did that, Joel went outside to my A/C unit and immediately smelt natural gas (which I had not smelt after being in my backyard numerous times). Come to find out, I had a small leak in my gas line which the gas company had to come fix. Joel marked the spot of the leak and continued with his work of checking my HVAC. He ended up having to clean and charge the system because it was 2lbs short of freon. Matt and Joel were both very professional and punctual. They explained all the work before they started and went above and beyond my expectations. The simple fact that Joel was able to find a unrelated gas leak while working on my HVAC unit is a true representation of the expertise that Sloan Service Co brings to the table.

These guys were great! Joel came to the house immediately and was able to diagnose the problem instantly. He was the second guy to come in for a quote and saved us $1000 from the previous quote and took care of it! If you want great work at a good price these are your guys!

GREAT! The tech arrived about 10 minutes early. With my description of the problem, he was able to determine the issue within about 10 minutes of looking at the unit in the attic. He checked the capacitor with a voltmeter and explained that it was reading at a very low level. He provided the price to replace the capacitor, and after I accepted, he replaced the part, which he had in his vehicle. In addition to replacing this part, he also re-wired all of my connections to the thermostat, and he even hooked up my thermostat to the power and removed the batteries from the wall unit. These other tasks were above and beyond what was contracted, and he did not charge for any of this work. Overall, working with Sloan was a great experience, and I'd be happy to work with them again.

He was very professional and courteous. He explained all the details of what he was going to do and the reasons for some of the repairs that had to be done. He was very polite and punctual. He stayed focus and on task; therefore, using him time efficiently allowed for me to be able to complete other things that day as I did not have to wait long for him to finish his work. The pricing was very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical and HVAC work that needs to be done. I could not find anything wrong with any of the services provided. I will be a repeat customer.

Needless to say, Joe Verly did an amazing job; very detailed oriented, punctual, my a/c starting working great after Sloan services were done with my house. I would highly recommend them to any one and I will be using them again for future work.

Sloan Electric replaced my attic fan. They were responsive on my initial call and the work went well and was reasonably priced. Replaced the fan and thermostat and added a cut off switch which was needed. The fan stopped working after a month and they came out and replaced the fan for no additional charge. Good guys, friendly. I appreciated their work and willingness to return to replace a defective fan motor that was not their fault, since it was a new motor. Definitely would use them again.

Jason, came and diagnosed the issues .. .multiple issues... reviewing all the logical spots that could be problematic. Explained exactly what was happening. He then quickly got the parts and repaired everything with a logical solution that didn't involve unneeded work, that would have been super costly. Absolutely recommend!

Joel came out and he was wonderful. He explained the situation and what needed to be done in language I could understand. He did not talk down or make me feel stupid for not knowing things and that was wonderful. He was courteous, professional, and most of all he completed the job in a timely manner and it was done right. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

We had Jason and Cory come to our home to replace some outlets and junction boxes. They came and saw the scope of work and quickly were able to provide a fair quote and took me through it so I understood everything. They got what they needed and went right to work. All the issues were resolved and they took me through the finished work to get my approval. Great work by the both of them and will have them do our future projects.
