Great, When the fixture didn't just right they took it down and replaced it .

They showed up on time and took very little time to take down the old fixture and install the new one. They took pains to keep the room clean and showed me how to use the remote that came with the fan. Great service!!

Jason does good work, but in this case he was unreliable and unresponsive. We originally scheduled an appointment for a day two weeks ago. I had called him from my office phone to set up the appointment and, despite my giving him my cell phone as the contact number (because I was waiting for him at home, having taken off work) he called my office phone the day he was scheduled to come out in order to tell me that something else had come up (a large commercial job) and he would not be able to keep his appointment. I obviously did not get this message. To his credit, when I contacted him he did agree to rearrange his schedule in order to come out to our house... approximately two hours after his scheduled arrival time. Once he arrived he quickly determined that he was not going to be able to do the most important part of his scope of work (moving a cable outlet) because he did not have a helper and it was too hot in the attic. This was reasonable, and he did effectively complete almost all of the remaining list. At the end of the day we made an appointment for him to come out on 7/14, at 8:00, in order to move the cable outlet, which I needed done no later than that day because Time Warner was coming on the 15th to hook up cable. This morning I started calling Jason at 8:15. Finally, at 8:38, he texted that he is ill and will need to reschedule. I texted him back that he needn't bother and found a more reliable electrician to do the job. UPDATE: This morning (7/17) I received a very nice phone call from the owner of the company, Mr. Sloan. He seemed genuinely concerned that work had not been done to my satisfaction and offered to set things straight. I'm still annoyed at the lack of communication and reliability, but I appreciate that he was apologetic and not defensive - if push came to shove I might be willing to give this company another chance.

Mother in law was very pleased that time was taken to minimize ceiling damage and added supports -though there was a extra charge for it.

Came on time, did the job fast and with great quality. Cleaned up and left the site cleane.

It went very well. The owner, whom I will call Mr. Sloan , was prompt, professional and courteous. It was a complicated job as it isan older building, and with many different lift's ,wired by different electricians over the years. Mr. Sloan found the wiring needs, he reported them to me, he then gave me an estimate, and he delivered the results. Excellent service!

I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and Sloan Electric was extremely helpful in finding another time to come out. My new bedroom ceiling fan motor housing had a smaller footprint than the old one, so there would have been an ugly hole in the ceiling. Jason (I believe this was the gentleman's name) suggested I get a ceiling medallion and gave me very specific instructions about the kind that would work best, which I picked up and brought back. He installed the ceiling medallion, and it looks really nice. Both he and his assistant were polite, professional, helpful and informative. They also showed up when they said they would. When I plugged my toaster oven back into one of the GFCI outlets after they left, it would not work. It had had power when they were here. I hit "reset" and checked the breaker but couldn't get it to work. So I called Sloan Electric back, and Jason and his assistant returned. When they took the outlet apart, there was evidence of burning and arcing inside the outlet, which probably caused it to go bad. They replaced the outlet free of charge. To be clear: I don't blame Sloan Electric for the GFCI going out. I suspect it was on its last legs and chose that time to die. I wouldn't mention it except that I was so impressed with the customer service I got when I called Sloan Electric to report it.

It went very well. They were prompt and very knowledgeable. Quickly found problem and fixed it. Even asked if there was any other electrical problems that needed repair.

We hadn't heard from them since we'd made the appointment, so we were somewhat dubious to their commitment. However, two polite and professional servicemen showed up exactly when they said they wood. Throughout the installations they were careful in working around our furniture and belongings. They did an excellent job of cleanup, too. We plan to have them back soon to do some additional electrical work. They get an A+ from us for punctuality, professionalism, and quality of work.

Arrived on time. Replaced hall light and put in 2 dimmer switches.

Purchased a special- $99 for $249 worth of electrical work. The workers were polite, however, 50 minutes late to appointment with no call to say they were running behind. The electrician indicated that the problem could be in my light switch so he would check that first. When I returned to the room, I was informed that my light switch was not the problem, but the electrician found that it and two additional light switches were broken. The electrician took it upon himself to replace all three light switches which I was informed of when I returned to check the progress. After taking the old fan down and installing a new fan (I had purchased the fan myself), I was handed an invoice indicating that the additional cost to me would be $160 after deducting the $249 value from the total bill. After indicating that I know the cost of installing a fan and three light switches (I have replaced light switches myself) would be no where close to $400, the worker indicated we could call it even. I did not have them look at the the other electrical concerns which I had mentioned when scheduling the appointment. I didn't think I could take any other surprises. In total, the two workers were there less than an hour and left without leaving any receipt or paperwork. I rate the cost "F" because the the electrician trying to charge me an additional amount over the value of the special, although I did not end up paying that amount.

He came early. Left to get the necessary materials. Came back and completed the job.

Two electricians arrived and got installed the pendant lights I had purchased. They were at my home for almost 2 hours. Everything looks great and I am enjoying my new lights.

The electrical circuit in my hallway light needed repaired. They also rewired by GFI breaker. Replaced two electrical outlets on the outside of my house and put covers on them.

I had a fantastic experience with Sloan Electric, and I was really dreading this project! We were changing bulbs every few weeks and knew that some of our fixtures needed to be replaced. Matthew was reliable, on time, organized and VERY knowledgeable about his business. I didn't even know about halogen vs LED bulbs before he came over. He advised me on what bulbs to get and which fixtures were damaged/needed to be replaced. After I picked up new bulbs and fixtures, he came back over soon after and replaced them all for me, including repairing some potentially dangerous wiring in the ceiling (I suspected the wiring and fixtures were bad, but didn't know how to fix them myself, although I tend to be a DIYer). Overall, I really enjoyed having them take care of the job for me, and I will definitely use them again and refer them to friends.

They arrived on time and promptly performed the work. Am very happy with the fact that my fan is quieter and back to cooling my attic.

Quick and easy. They found the best, quickest and least expensive way to remedy the wiring. Another electrician would have charged $150 more to re-wire the entire connection. Honest, on time, quick and priced fairly.

My husband, who is very hard to please, was very happy with the work that was done. All I can say is THANKYOU! We will call Sloan for all our electrical needs in the future.

Jason was polite and effective - he was senstive to scheduling issues we ended up having the day of service, and completed the work quickly. We'd definately use Sloan again

My email was responded to in timely manner. I was in a hurry to get someone in to replace the switches as there were sparks and it posed a safety hazard. He said he would do his best to fit me in the schedule and agreed to call with an hour advance notice so I would have time to leave work and get home to meet him. He actually called as promised, met me on time, and performed the work quickly and effectively.

Jason was late for the appointment but kept me up to date with his status which I really appreciated. Once there all work was done in a professional manner. I would definitely use this company for future electrical needs.

Jason and his team at Sloan Electric were wonderful to work with. We had multiple issues to address, adding can lights in our living room and multiple overhead fixtures. Also, we needed to correct wiring issues with overheads in our bedrooms. Our closets had no lighting, so they provided us with simple low cost solutions. They were dependable, professional, and took pride in their workmanship. We will use them again for ambient outdoor lighting.
