The contractor was unresponsive.

He was recommended to my by my electrical guy. I paid them $8500. They were very flexible to match the budget that we had left from the prior contractor. So they were very understanding about our situation. He made me feel very comfortable and took me to other homes that he completed with the home owners there and he spoke to me about the process, he was very confident in showing me the finished work that he did, he paid great attention to detail, their painters did a fabulous job and I was very impressed.

I have not had the work done yet because it is a huge investment and need to make sure I am ready financially for the commitment required to complete the project. However, I did have Chris Skiba (the owner) to my home a few weeks ago for an estimate and review of my needs. He showed up on-time and was extremely polite, professional and informative. In all fairness, I kind of threw a laundry list of items at him ranging from hanging a TV over the fireplace to completely renovating a portion of my home. He was at my house for about an hour, and even with my long list, he never seemed disinterested or made me feel rushed. I couldn't get the work done right this minute for financial reasons, however I am definitely going to get work done at my house sometime in the near future, and will most definitely use Skiba for the work as long as they are able to get me on their schedule at that time. Thank you Chris for taking the time to visit my home and will definitely be in touch soon!

It went really well. I am skeptical of contractors that I don't Know. All the ones that I do know has either retired or are no longer in business. Chris was very nice and seem to know what was going on. Very talkative. lol. But I'm ok with that.
