Professional and efficient service - showed up on time and was very knowledgeable

A simple inspection and cleaning of my HVAC turned into a 3K sale of a whole house dehumidifying system. A very personable (slick?) salesman convinced me that my house and my heath would be better served with less MOLD. He used a hand-held device to show that the humidity in the air in my house was at 70-75% (it should be about 50%) and took photos of some mold in my crawl space under the house. He was very persuasive. Oh well. Although everyone was very nice and quite responsive at S. Experts, but it took no less than FIVE subsequent visits to my house to get this new dehumidifier, and new thermostat, installed and working properly. No one seemed to really know how to do the job, and had to read the manual as they worked. I felt like a guinea pig...had they never done this before? Am I the only one who fell for the dehumidifier sales pitch? Hopefully all is well now and my house will be less humid and my air conditioning costs will decrease.

Our upstairs AC wasn't blowing cold air. SE was very friendly over the phone and worked well with our schedule. Actually called us the day before since they were "in the neighborhood" which was very helpful! Rick from SE came out and within minutes identified the problem as a lack of freon. He added less than 1 lbs and remeasured temperatures. We also decided to sign up for the PLUS plan to take advantage of twice-a-year checkups and get a discount on maintenance and the purchase of new units in the fall (ours are from 1992 and won't last much longer). They were very easy to work with and the price was very reasonable. We're happy to have found a go-to company for AC/Heating needs.

Our HVAC unit was 10 yrs old, and on its last legs. We were having some efficiency problems in getting all of the rooms in our house heated/cooled adequately, and were contemplating purchasing 2 units or zoning with a new unit. Our upstairs rooms were not conditioned very well due to ductwork, but one room in particular was really hot/cold most of the time. Since we probably won't be in our home for more than 3 years, we didn't want to spend a fortune on this project. We spoke to 3 contractors, including Service Experts, who we added at the last minute because we couldn't decide between the other 2 estimates (both were entirely different in suggested scope of work to solve our issues). Mel Paris, our sales rep, was extremely attentive to our situation. He solved our problems, without us needing 2 units OR zoning, and threw in some "freebies" including a digital thermostat, for less than the other 2 estimates we received. The guys who did the work were so polite and they did great work!

When they installed a new outlet to support the air handler underneath the house, they messed up the wiring, such as that the A/C, didn't work every time we turned on a 3 way light switch, we'd trip the fuse to our kitchen. They also, didn't seal the ducts. It took several return visits and finally 3 days later, it was working. tech's were on time and courteous.

Chose company given large number of positive reports. But I don't believe they ever fix anything; I think their goal is to sell new installations. Once he found low freon (none has been added in 12 yrs), it was replace everything. To be fair, he did explain cost of $219 to find leak, $132 to replace capacitor, and $1,000 to fix leak (most likely condenser or evaporator coil), and there would be no warranty. Does that make sense for 12 yr old system? Probably not but I wanted a 2nd opinion. Called someone else. Same findings EXCEPT now I'm told that they had 100s of customers whose leaks are small enough they just add freon every spring. He didn't believe in replacing things if they could be repaired or bandaged. Replaced capacitor for $75 (NOT $132), added 2# freon for $50, $89 labor, & $10 trip charge. Leak check (not done) would be $75 (NOT $219). I would NOT use this company for service. When I go to replace I will get at least 3 bids, especially from the guy that added freon.

We had used this company before in the past. We have always received the absolute best service when we use this company. Everyone treats you with a lot of respect. They make you feel like you are not just a dollar sign. We are very pleased with the work they have done. They always have very highly competitive prices. We have has no problems with any of the work they have.

I am happy with their work. The heat works fine and warms our home quite quickly. The air is cool in the summer. I had no trouble with the workers who came out, as they were prompt and very professional. I feel the price was within reason.

We had no problems at all with our dealings with this Company. We were very pleased with how we were treated by them. We had an appointment set and they were right on time. We had a few different quotes and found them to be one of the cheapest around. They had the new system installed in no time at all and we have had no problems with it since the installation.

Service Experts is a company I have used for several years. They wore those blue little paper booties over their shoes in my home. They knocked each time before entering my house. I felt more than comfortable while they were doing work for me. One thing I especially love about this company is the fact that they seem to send the same technician to your home each time they are servicing things for you. I have told others about this company. They deserve A's from top to bottom. Unfortunately, I can not recall what we paid them for the installation of our system. My husband handled the financial arrangements. I do know that they are always reasonable.

They really are experts in their field. The whole process from taking out the old unit to installing the new one went smoothly. I am happy they did it. Our energy bills show it is quite efficient and it warms our home quite well.

I am very happy with the overall product and work done by these gentlemen. Our new unit works well and has been very energy efficient like I was told it was going to be. They were very polite were easy deal with. They had no problems answering my questions at all.

It has been nearly two years, and everything is just fine. We have not had any interruptions in service since they put it in. I remember them as being really nice people that worked hard. They were also careful about removing our old equipment.

I am a customer that had no problems with Service Experts. I felt that I received good services from this company. They cleaned up after themselves and arrived promptly to do the work. I would use them again because I felt very satisfied in the end. I can tell you that they charge reasonable prices. I can't tell you what I paid because I am not comfortable revealing that information. I will say that they gave me a good deal.

We continue to use this company because of the wonderful job that they did. We are always impressed with the quality of work and knowing that you can depend on them for anything. The prices are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They really make a great impression on you. They are just wonderful.

I really like our new electric furnaces. They seem to heat more efficiently than our old gas ones did. The guys who put the new furnaces in were really nice and took really good care of us. I would have no problems recommending them to other people.

The service was alright. They were on time. The workers were knowledgeable and friendly. It was nice of them to get rid of the old one for us. I was happy with the whole job. I do not remember the price but I thought it was reasonable. I would recommend them to others.

Service Experts installed the new system and did a great job. I would highly recommend their services. I have their services for our twelve years. I am very pleased with their work and service. They continue to service our heating and air conditioning. We get a discounted rate on the yearly servicing of our heat and air conditioning because we have a service contract that is prepaid.

Service Experts, in my opinion, did a great job working for me. They even showed up on time, which is rather impressive with a contracting company! I had no problems dealing with them and would use them in the future if I needed to. They seem to really know what they are doing with furnace removals and installation, so I would encourage others to look into them if they're in the market for furnace work or having a new unit installed. I honestly have not a clue what I paid them, but I do know that we had called numerous places for estimates, so they would have been in the bottom three in terms of prices for estimates we received.

I love Service Experts. I use them two times a year to come out and clean my system. They have always provided me and my family with good service. I have always had good experiences with them. They are very nice people, not to mention professional. I have never had any kind of problems with them in the past or anything. They are definitely a re hire company in my eyes.

I was very pleased with the service that this company provided for me. Myself and my family have been using this company for years and I am always impressed with the quality of work that they give us. They make sure to be on time and to complete the work in a great a mount of time. I would recommend them to anyone.

I give two thumbs up to Service Experts. They exemplify good workmanship and I would encourage others to use them if they are looking for a reliable, friendly, cost-effective company. We found the employees to be very kind and they were extremely respectful of our home and of our wishes as customers.

The new heat pump system that they put in works really well as it is a lot better than the old one. The workers worked very quickly to get the system in as quickly as they could and they left no mess behind. I was very pleased with the work that they did.
