Description of Work: I replaced my entire HVAC system with a new energy efficient system. My old system was almost 20 years old. I was able to get rebates from Honeywell, Duke Energy, and Public Service of North Carolina totaling about $1300. The new system works very well and has a variable speed fan, energy efficient features, and a WiFi thermostat that I can control from anywhere in the world as long as I'm on WiFi.

Description of Work: Replace 2 A/C units, crawl space dehumidifier, crawl space vapor barrier, new insulation in 1st floor joists, new downstairs duct work.

Description of Work: I have an annual service contract with them. It costs about $175 per year. In the past they have fixed my air-conditioner. They arrive on time, are professional and get the work done.

Description of Work: They performed semi-annual service for our warranty contract with the company. Had a new combination dual phase gas furnace/electric air conditioner installed two years ago that were have serviced twice a year. They call early in the spring for servicing the air conditioner and early in the fall for the furnace servicing and are work with our schedule and desires. | |We are pleased with Service Experts as a company, but very disappointed with the Rheem combination furnace/AC. Within one year of installation, this expensive appliance began leaking freon and our air conditioner performance was very substandard. We finally called and Service Experts easily detected the leak in the coil and replaced it under warranty. The parts were free but the shipping and labor costs were not (a common practice for all such furnace/AC companies I found out on internet). Apparently, the installed coils on most company units were not robust enough for the new freon, now required, because it is put in under a great deal more pressure that the coils could not handle. The replacement coil is supposed to be better and is nickle coated for better longevity.

Description of Work: This was a service call for inadequate heat pump function. Call was handled promptly. Service personnel polite, explained thoroughly.

Description of Work: Service Experts did my 6 month servicing as well as installed a ultraviolet light for mold control. Everything went perfectly and the Technician was finished in a timely manor. He provided documentation showing the amount of mold on the unit upfront so there was no mistaking that the light was definitely needed!!

Description of Work: I had a confusing experience with this provider last year. When they called to schedule an appointment this year I explained my problem. The scheduler was responsive (not defensive) and scheduled me with someone who took the time to understand my issues and did not push to upsale equipment that I didn't really need. I signed another contract.

Description of Work: This was normal maintenance. I have used this company for five years, but watched them slowly go downhill. The work is done satisfactorily but there continue to be problems with scheduling and conflict. In the past they have more than made up for mistakes they have made, but there have just been too many mistakes.

The technician was punctual, professional, willing to answer questions and I plan to continue to use them on an annual basis to make sure my home is protected.

Description of Work: We needed a new HVAC system after purchasing a house. We had several different HVAC companies come out and give us an estimate. We wanted to get one last estimate before making a decision and decided to call them. Mike Maxwell came out and priced out everything we wanted (2.0 ton and 2.5 ton heat pumps with dual heating units). Since it was late in the fall, we were able to get a 50% discount on the units.!! After taking out a 12 months same as cash credit card, they started the job the next day. They were very professional and very clean, even thought it rained the entire day. By night time, everything was in place. The next day, we noticed that our outside temperature reading was incorrect. They sent someone out immediately to fix the problems. We also noticed a noise coming from the basement and thought it might have been the one unit. They sent someone immediately again and it was nothing but our old vent.
