At first, things started off well. Spiro and a helper arrived on time to start the rough-in for the basement bathroom. I knew there might be issues when Spiro started arguing with his helper. And his helper started arguing right back. What I didn't realize at the time was that they were so busy arguing, they weren't paying attention to the work they were supposedly doing, and which I was paying for. The water supply lines for the vanity were installed such that they were hanging in mid air in the laundry closet. The shower pan was installed with the drainage pipe too long which caused the pan not to sit flat on the floor. After they were done, Spiro asked for payment in full. So I paid. Big mistake. It was only after the other contractors complained about the plumbing that I realized that Spiro and his helper didn't help me at all. But they did cost me a pretty penny. I repeatedly asked Spiro to fix the issues, and tho he promised to do so, never showed up to do the work.
