They had a good price, and exceptional quality. They cleaned everything up when they finished. They had been working at a neighbors and drove by. They saw something they did not like and came back and redid it. We have recommended them and would use them again.

We have used them in the past for roof repairs and they have always been very reasonable and done a great job. They showed up on time with a very large crew. We have a very large roof and it took about about 1/2 day longer than the original estimate. They cleaned up every day before leaving and the roof looks great!

It couldn't have gone more smoothly. The crew was arrived on time early in the morning and worked into the evening on the first day. The work was completed on schedule mid-afternoon of the second day. They did a great job cleaning up. An hour after the crew left, the dumpster was picked up. Less than an hour later, another truck stopped by to pick up extra materials. Within 48 hours, a supervisor did a walk-around with me. We identified 3 minor issues with flashing around our front windows. He came out the next day and addressed them completely. I should also add that we had this job quoted by 2 other well-known local firms, and the Roofwerks price was more than 10% less - for the same work, using the exact same materials.

They were prompt and professional. They delivered the quote in a timeframe they promised. It was a competitive price. I have not gotten multiple bids yet. It was within the range of what I would expect.

I gave them a call. After about 4 days, I could make an appointment for inspection. After 4 days, the inspector checked my roof. After 4 days, I received the quote. After 4 days, they showed up on time and got the service done. After 4 days, I received the bill. To me because I don't need to get the maintenance done right away, I can wait. I just make sure things get done right. But 4 day latency is not ok. Or maybe it's how roof business works. If I had needed it right away, I would have called someone else. But they did professionally.

These guys were great!! They came out that day. The roof was repaired in 15 minutes. Very nice and polite! I will definitely call them again!

I previously post a comment that we never heard back from Roofwerks but there was a miscommunication. After my post Will (the owner) personally stop by to apologize and give us a quote. He was extremely knowledgable and professional. He found problem areas that others had overlooked and gain our trust immediately. Will, Kerry and the rest of the crew did a wonderful job with instillation and clean up. We recommend Roofwerks and plan to use them again!

High-Quality Work, But Buyer Beware We chose Roofwerks (after getting bids from three other roofers) because of their very good Angie?s List reviews and their Certainteed Certification. Though I believe both roofs and gutters and repair work to have been well done, other issues with the company?s integrity and professionalism would prohibit me from using them again or recommending them. Roowerks was in the middle, pricewise, with Baker Roofing?s bid substantially higher. The crew showed up right on time and quickly stormed the roof (I would not advise staying home for this ? sounds like Armageddon). The main roof and the flat roof work was done, as promised, in one day. Both roofs look very good and seem to be well installed. There were numerous small issues that I suppose should be expected with this kind of work ? hole in one bedroom ceiling, torn up interior skylight trim, junction box pulled off with cable left hanging, cigarette butts and other debris dropped into the house, 60+ nails in the front yard and driveway. It took multiple requests and nearly two months to get the ceiling hole, skylight trim and hanging cable fixed. The gutters were well-installed (and apparently larger than the 5" gutters we were quoted). The repaired soffit and fascia were painted white, despite our existing trim being almond. This took some back and forth to have repainted, but it was done. The crew used our general contractor?s dumpster to dispose of their debris, despite being asked not to the day before, and haul-off being part of their contract. The problem we had was with the soffit/fascia repair ? not the quality of the work, but the charges. The repair work was quoted at $11/ft for soffit and fascia replacement. We mistakenly believed this to be for soffit and fascia, as it was worded . In fact, we were billed $11/ft for soffit repair and $11/ft for fascia repair. Possibly our mistake, but something to watch out for. We also were originally billed $11/ft for sub-fascia repair (not mentioned in the bid). We believed this was excessive ($88 for an unpainted board costing under $10) and Roofwerks reduced that charge to $8/ft. Still excessive, in my opinion. We were out of town and not there to supervise this work, and were shocked to receive a bill for 300 feet of repair work at $11/ft. (Baker had specifically estimated 70 feet in their bid.) The bill did not include any detail. When we asked our project manager to come out and show us the 300 feet, he did, and indicated approximately 30 feet that had been painted over, but ,we were able to determine, were not replaced (backside, viewed from porch, not painted and clearly old boards) . Despite their being indisputable evidence of this, we had to have another meeting (another morning off work) with the project manager, one of the owners and the head of the gutter crew ? to go through the same exercise of being told boards had been replaced that clearly had not. Though Roofwerks adjusted the bill down for those 30 feet and expressed their appreciation for us ?working with? them, there was no apology for this obvious deception, and we cannot help but be left to wonder how much of the remaining 270 feet (much of which is hidden) was actually replaced and indeed, how many of the 27 sheets of plywood sheathing ($55/sheet) were actually replaced on the roof. Maybe all of it, but, understandably, we have our doubts. They also repeatedly neglected to include the $750 cash/check discount agreed upon in the contract. We thought we were saving money using Roofwerks over Baker, but believe, in the end, it cost us more. Overall, our experience with Roofwerks ? especially the lack of contrition over obvious misrepresentation ? left us with a bad taste.

The former owner of my home used Roofwerks for a roof replacement. We called them because we were seeing considerable leakage in the attic near the chimney. These guys came out promptly, had a great attitude, and expertly replaced the shingles around the roof twice. On the third time, the owner came out, and they put a tarp over the chimney - stopping the leak (i.e. it was a chimney problem - not a problem with their work on the roof). I don't know how they performed on the original sale/work, but their warranty work has been great. I did not rate them on quality because we are still working on the leak, and they only worked in the small area around the chimney. However, my expert father-in-law observed that the work they did was very well executed. If we still have problems after the chimney is repaired, I know they will happily come out promptly to review any remaining leaks at that time.

I knew the eaves were bad, but the extent of damage was unexpected. Roofwerks remained on the job, replaced the roof and accomplished all repairs very professionally and expediently. John and Kerry were easy to work with. Everyone in their crew was polite and friendly. Clean-up was impeccable. They have replaced roofs for several friends and neighbors, all of whom make comments similar to mine.

I arranged an 8:00am appointment for an estimate so I wouldn't be too late for work. Gary arrived about 8:40. He was very professional, got up on the roof, was able to assess the damage, and get me a printed professional quotation on the spot. I was in a hurry to get to work and it took him a while to get his laptop & printer all hooked up in his truck so I was a little annoyed at how long that took. But his price was much better than the first quote I'd gotten. They didn't need access inside the house so we arranged to have them come when my wife and I were at work. It rained for a few days and Gary was good to let me know that they'd have to delay and he kept me up to date with good communications. As far as I could tell, the roof repair was fine. They did the best they could matching shingle colors, but the roof is 20 years old and I didn't have high expectations on that. It's not on a visible part of the roof so that's fine. We had 2 issues with the gutter: 1) you could see from the ground that one of the end caps wasn't connected completely, and 2) the gutter was 3" to 4" off center - meaning that a small part of the end of the roof didn't have any gutter under it and the other end had extra gutter. My guess is that they pre-made the gutter and punched the hole for the downspout prior to coming on site (Gary had said he would do this so he didn't have to send out a gutter guy and a roofer guy to save me money - fair enough). When I told them about the 2 issues (I sent photos), they had someone come out to fix the end cap, but they told me that the old gutter had been cut that way and they just copied it (pretty lame IMHO). So they never came back to fix that. It's not a terribly serious problem though. I meant to hold final payment until it was corrected, but my wife got the bill and paid it before I had a chance to tell her about it. 11/12/13: Quick update: I got a call from Holly, Roofwerks' office manager today. Very polite, was concerned that I wasn't happy with their work and without my asking, offered to send out a gutter guy in the next two days to make it right. 11/15/13: The guys came out yesterday and re-did the gutter. I received a call from the owner of Roofwerks last night. He really wanted to make sure I was happy with their work. I hadn't gotten home yet, so I couldn't comment, but I thanked him for following up. They did fix the gutter so it's centered properly. Since no one was home when they did the repair I can't say for sure it was them, but somebody blew all the leaves off of our driveway and back yard yesterday. If that's their normal 'cleaning up after themselves', I may have them back to fix something once all the leaves are down from the trees! Bottom line: The company really does want happy customers, and they'll work hard to make things right.

The install went well. It took place on a Saturday morning and only took a couple of hours (most of which without me there to keep an eye out). Workmanship was good, and the perimeter of the house was very clean when completed. The gutters are dealing with the volume off the large and steep roof much better than the narrower gutters they replaced. Though I feel like the price was slightly on the high side, I didn't solicit other quotes for comparison. That said, I'm happy with the result and would recommend Roofwerks again. Without a doubt, they'll be the first folks I call when planning to replace the 15+ year-old shingles on my roof here in a year or so.

It went great. He got back to us quickly, explained exactly what needed to be done, scheduled the work quickly and took care of it. It wasn't a very involved job, but he was very professional about it.

Roofwerks promptly replied to my initial telephone/email inquiry. Three other companies, whose advertisements were frequently televised, did not respond to my multiple attempts. I was impressed with Roofworks' proactive method of photographing the roof prior to and subsequent to contracted repairs. Roofwerks' photographic identification of the deficiency issues prior to their repair recommendations convinced me of their business integrity . Roofworks delivered 100% of what was proposed in the Contractor Agreement. All employees, at every juncture of the job, were professional, prompt and courteous.

They were in a busy phase so it took a little longer than anticipated for them to actually have a crew out to complete the repair; however as there were heavy rains in the forecast during the waiting period they did send out a crew from another jobsite to secure the area with tarps to prevent further leaks. The work itself went very smoothly and within budget... Crew were pleasant, professional and knowledgeable....

The initial rep was fine. He was on time and nice but said he had to speak with someone in commercial b/c my roof was too flat and more of a commercial vs residential roof. I spoke with the supervisor (can't remember his name) who said he lived in Clayton (same town where my house is) and would swing by to take a look and get back to me. I didn't hear back for a week, so I called him. He said he went out and looked at it but didn't have a price for me. Told me it would probably have to be replaced. I asked him for a quote for a repair and new roof. He said he'd get back to me within a couple days. I never heard back. This is a rental house of mine and not in the greatest neighborhood. I felt they didn't take me seriously or was worth following up on. I had to get this roof fixed and didn't appreciate being sloughed off. I didn't bother calling him back again b/c it was obvious they didn't want this job. I found it very unprofessional and rude.

Everything went great. I like them and would recommend to others.

He told us when he thought he could come and was able to come earlier, having already seen the problem and given us an estimate. Considering the frequency of the rain, the early repair was fortuitous. His workmen came, did the job quickly and efficiently. They billed us promptly and charged per estimate.
