It took a little longer than planned to get started, but It went great! Susan was a pleasure to work with and goes out of her way to take care of her customers. The crew was fantastic and all of their work was spot on. I recommended her to one of our neighbors and they also are so pleased. Her pricing is fair and she does not try to low-ball a bid then make it up over pricing repairs like some other contractors I have delt with. Highly recommend her and listen to her suggestions. She will save you money in the end.

Susan was thoroughly professional in her approach and always pleasant & prompt in her responses to our questions. Even though there were times when communicating with the crew were difficult due to language differences the project continued smoothly to completion.

I have an older home that required complete replacement of masonite with Hardie siding, repair/replacement of trim & fascia, front door replacement and reconstruction of a failing bay window unit. It was a large project and the crew at RenovateRepair did an excellent job. There were several areas of my home that were not originally built to code, and this posed significant issues for the project. One area I knew about, but the other areas were only discovered as the siding work took place. The crew met these unexpected challenges and resolved them all to my satisfaction. Susan Prenatt kept me informed on the issues, including any scheduling and cost decisions that had to be made. You can't ask for better folks who will work on your home like it is their own. The vision I had for the siding, the color scheme and the renovations all came together as I'd hoped. Their team helped me create a beautiful new look for my home and my neighbors have complemented the change.

Very responsive to our needs and finished on time. The only negative is the crew did not always cleanup the exterior on a daily basis. Very friendly crew.

It took 3 days and went extremely well. Really pleased with the results. Susan was great to work with and gave me several tips on some other areas of my house that needed work. Also had a leak from my chimney pan which is something RR doesn't do. But Susan searched for me to see if she could find a contractor to do the work. Something she didn't need to to. I am planning to finishing siding the rest of my house next Spring/Summer and will definitely be contacting Renovate Repair to do the work.

We love our "new" house! We went from a nondescript traditional-style house to, in Susan's words, an industrial farmhouse -- all via new siding (with a brand new design mixing horizontal and vertical board-and-batten siding in two colors), a new metal awning, new doors, and new dark gutters (at Susan's suggestion). We knew Susan was a different kind of contractor at our first appointment, when she went around the house with us for well over an hour offering detailed re-siding explanations and building suggestions (for whatever contractor we would end up choosing). She was very helpful in the design stage, and even suggested areas where we could cut back to save money. She always took the time to explain everything thoroughly to us, and answer all our questions -- which were many as the project unfolded. She visited the job site every day, and when issues came up during the course of the project, as they always do with any remodeling, she worked with us to come up with a solution quickly and painlessly. Hilario and his team were great and worked very well together. Even when an area of siding had to be redone, they were completely professional about it. We've been living with the finished product for several weeks now and we still haven't found anything to complain about. Their attention to detail was very good. Plus, the guys did a wonderful job cleaning up every day, which was important to us because we have two dogs and didn't want them to step on anything sharp. We got estimates from a couple of much larger outfits, but there's no way we would have gotten the same kind of personalized attention we got from Susan and her team. When you're hiring RenovateRepair, you know you're going with a small family business, but the level of service you get from them is excellent. Construction projects can be very stressful, but Susan and her team made it go smoothly (with just a couple of bumps), and we're delighted with the results.

Susan was great! It turned out that the RenovateRepair siding wasn't going to be good match for my rental house situation only because the neighborhood location wouldn't warrant that quality level . . . for a rental house. Susan was immediately honest in providing her insight into what she thought the best course of action would be - even though it wasn't going to be with her company. In fact, she spent an extra half hour looking over my house and giving me much valuable information . . . all as a free gesture. These days it's hard to find a company (especially in the construction industry) that is willing to go so far to be helpful. When she left I only wished that my project would have been a better match for their services because it is clear that RenovateRepair is a real gem.

We had a fantastic experience with RenovateRepair. Susan is an excellent project manager and communicator, and George is tremendously helpful as well. The project was completed on time and is more beautiful than we expected. The crew cleaned up daily and were very diligent. Susan went above and beyond to help us resolve an electrical problem as we were leaving for vacation - amazingly helpful! She came out to talk to us when we were concerned about the work (we just didn't understand the construction process, which she explained to us, and the result is great.) We are very happy and would recommend them every time.

They were good. The workers were really good and prompt. They had some time delays because of some personal issues so that kind a drag on a few more weeks than it house have.

Susan did a great job explaining the HardiPlank product line and the options available to us. She was very patient in addressing our questions/concerns and very thorough about what to expect during the removal of the old siding and the installation process of the HardiPlank. We did get estimates from other contractors but we didn’t have the level of confidence in the other contractors than we had with Susan and RenovateRepair.com. Susan’s estimate was competitively priced so the decision to go with her was a very easy one. Her estimate was a lot more detailed too so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Once the job got started Susan kept in regular communication with us to keep us informed of the job progress and of any issues that may have surfaced. Hilario and his crew were exceptional. I learned that Hilario has been with RenovateRepair.com for about ten years. To me that says something. It is a compliment to Susan and George, the way they look after their employees when someone stays with the same company for that long. It is also a compliment to Hilario and his crew for the quality of work they do. They are a great team. We found their attention to detail to be outstanding. They are very respectful and courteous and we greatly appreciated how they cleaned-up the work areas around the house at the end of each day. The size of this job was fairly respectable. The house is about 3,000 s/f. We found one (and only one) very minor issue with some painting that needed to be corrected. That’s it. My wife and I walked around the house several times looking for something else that might have been missed. Other than the minor painting issue we found none; and that was corrected in a timely manner. It should be mentioned that another house in our neighborhood is having a HardiPlank installation by another contractor that is NOT RenovateRepair.com. Their project started weeks in advance of ours and it is still not completed. This is due to faulty workmanship/installation. The owners of that home came to our house on several occasions to inspect the installation of our siding. They told us that we are very fortunate that we hired who we did and they were using our home as a reference guide as to how the installation should look when dealing with their contractor to get their problems rectified. One footnote to our experience with Susan and George. When Susan was running late for our initial appointment I received a call from George informing me that she would be about five minutes late and apologized for the delay. How many contractors call you to let you know they are running late? Especially when it is only going to be 5 minutes. Susan ended up being late by only 2 minutes. That to me spoke volumes about the way they treat their customers. Great people to do business with. My wife and I highly recommend RenovateRepair.com. We are extremely pleased with our experience from start to finish!

Where do I begin... George originally came out to our house to give us an estimate October 2014. Unfortunately, this project was placed on the back burner after we found out we had to replace our roof. We contacted Renovate Repair in November 2015 and let them know we would be ready to start the project early 2016. It took a few more calls on our part and a lot of questions (I'm sure we (I) drove Susan crazy) -- we were added to the calendar. The projected started March 2, 2016 and it took about a month -- in part, due to unforeseen termite and extensive wood rot, the weather, and pollen. Susan, Hilario and his crew were unbelievable. The crew arrived and removed the shutter, gutters and light fixtures -- next they ripped out all the Masonite siding. After they tore out the Masonite, they wrapped the house and replaced all wood rot, which turned out worse than expected. They also ran into major termite damage inside the window casings forcing them to remove all the widows to repair the damage, as well as replacing a 2 x10 on the deck. They resided the entire house, installed a new front door, sidelights and transom, painted all the doors and trims, installed new window shutters, new light fixtures and new outlets. In addition, the porch rails had extensive damage and instead of duplicating the existing design, I sent a picture of a Chippendale design. Hilario built the porch rails exactly as it appeared in the photograph and it turned out beautiful! The house looks A M A Z I N G! Susan, Hilario and his crew are second to none! Susan and George have excellent communication skills, they are professional and delightful. Hilario and his crew are also professional, respectful and very detail orientated. Our experience with Renovate Repairs was stellar! We couldn't ask for better service from start to finish. George and Susan are both very courteous and so easy to work with. They answered all of our questions and explained to us how the project would be completed and gave us updates along the way. You can tell that they want what is best for their customer. And extremely reasonable on cost. The crew that did our house were amazing. They were friendly and very hard workers. They were very detail oriented and extremely neat. They cleaned everything up after each day's work. I can't say enough about this amazing company. I highly recommend them and we will be calling them for future projects on our home.

A co-worker recommended RenovateRepair to us when we needed to have the siding replaced on our home and despite being a large (and expensive) job, we were extremely pleased from start to finish. We had several other companies out to give estimates, and none were as knowledgeable or as passionate about their products as George Prenant. From the moment he sat down with us it was obvious how excited he was about the HardiPlank product, and that he was very knowledgeable. At the same time, we never felt he was pressuring us to choose his company (or even HardiPlank). This was great, as my wife and I were a bit stressed knowing we had to do such a large repair to our home. George was up front with us about what current schedule looked like. Once we had gathered several estimates, our decision was easy - not only was RenovateRepair the company we felt most comfortable with, they were also the lowest bidder. Once we made the decision to use RenovateRepair, we spoke with susan and they got us on their calendar. There were a couple of jobs being finished up ahead of us, but susan kept us informed as to when we could expect work to begin. The crew that came out was very professional and worked quickly. They showed up consistently and did an excellent job keeping the trash and chaos to a minimum. Due to the fact that the original siding was in very poor shape, george had warned us that they might discover additional issues once they removed it all. This turned out to be true, and we ended up needing some additional work done to replace trim and other areas that had significant rot. In every instance, george and susan were upfront with us about what was going on and what would be needed to rectify it. Even with these additional expenses the total cost for this project was still on par with the next best estimate for just replacing the siding (no trim, extra repairs, etc). Once all repairs were complete, the crew did a thorough job of removing all leftover material, trash, nails, etc. George came over and walked us through everything that had been done and answered any questions we had. We were extremely pleased with the end result, and a year+ later, we have had zero issues with any of the work that was done. We would not hesitate to recommend RenovateRepair to anyone looking to have work done on their home.

Working w/ Susan and Daryl was absolutely amazing! We had a family emergency that necessitated our project being pushed up earlier than was originally scheduled. When I called to ask if this could be done Susan responded w/ "let me talk w/ some of my other clients and see what we can do, I'll get back to you." Less than 24 hours later she called w/ the good news that some other wonderful family had agreed to delay their project so that ours could be done, thank you anonymous family! Daryl and his crew were here on time, did a great job and were very responsive to my questions. As the original owner, our home looks better than it did on day one. I couldn't recommend R&R more and would definitely use them again!

We have been working with Susan and George Prenatt for almost 10 years now and they have been a pleasure to work with. Renovate Repair has performed a variety of home repair services inside and outside our home. We have found their quality top notch and their crews professional, courteous and on time.

The project went smoothly and we are very happy with the results. At first I was surprised by the amount of the estimate, given that the home is brick, but others were not much different and the level of service provided by Renovate Repair was extraordinary. They took care of the logistics with different organizations to take down old gutters, replace fascia, prep and paint trim and replace gutters. New gutters were not included in their work, but they managed the logistics around weather and work progress so I didn't have to keep calling the gutter company. The painting prep was well beyond what I expected, in some cases sanding down to bare wood and replacing rotten sills. Painting and cleanup were excellent. They razor-bladed stray streaks and essentially washed the outside of the windows after painting and before replacing screens. New gutters were up the afternoon before rain started. The company is very easy to work with and I received responses to my emails quickly. I have used Renovate Repair before for other jobs and I continue to highly recommend their work. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Our first contact with the company was very pleasant. The representative was courteous and worked within our timings for scheduling the first meeting to come to our house; even let us invite our neighbor over who also was interested in getting her siding replaced. The owner came into our home with a wealth of information and samples and provided a great presentation on the HardiePlank ColorPlus technology product and process for installation. He provided information on the training required to become a Hardie certified installer. Finally, he also provided a list of previous homeowners addresses that agreed to share their experience and enabled us to see a finished job. After the presentation, he did a thorough assessment of the current condition of our home and made a recommendation of not having to replace everything on the outside of our home such as fascia, soffits and trim and that we could do what was required to save money, which was MUCH appreciated. Several days later he came by with samples of all the colors available for us to start the color selection process. Having the samples on hand made the selection much easier as we could look at the actual colors on every side of the house in different lights. From the beginning to the end of the job, the owner was in contact with us on almost a daily basis to ensure the project was going to schedule, barring any bad weather. His crew was always on time, courteous, and cleaned up daily. If they saw trim, soffit or other areas that weren't part of the initial quote but should be considered for replacement, they spoke with us as well as followed up with the owner to ensure the integrity of the job. While in the process of completing my review, I decided to read some of the other reviews and noted a very poignant and unfounded review of the company and its owners that I had to refute. As former female clients of African-American and Cape Verdean origin in a domestic partnership, we did not experience this so called "racist" behavior. In addition, I work from home and have the same flexibility with my schedule that this potential client probably had but chose not to use. At no point during the process did we feel discriminated against, belittled or treated in an unfair manner. The company employs a minority crew which points to them being equal opportunity employers. It's a shame that in this day and time people still use these terms as chips to slander a company. Lastly, it's obvious this potential client doesn't know the process of estimating a job of this size. During the process of getting several quotes from multiple contractors, most set an expectation that we would receive our quote by end of business the next day. Not one contractor provided an estimate during the initial meeting. It was a great pleasure to work with the team at RenovateRepair and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a complete refacing of their home, repair work, decking or any other home improvement project.

It went beautifully! The owners were very knowledgeable and professional. They understood that this was a major project and were very sensitive to the amount of money spent. The workers were very friendly, polite, and extremely good at cleaning up after themselves. Their craftmanship was excellent-no detail was too small for them to attend to. They worked well as a team; it seemed that they all got along and respected one another.

Renovaterepair sent a hard working crew who worked diligently to complete the job. Our house had siding with a major rot issue (the original manufacturer had a class action lawsuit against it and went out of business) and was in bad need of replacement. We secured three bids from area siding companies. One bid was significantly higher, one was lower than Renovaterepair, but we did not have confidence in the company. Renovaterepair came to our home and explained the process in detail. They brought samples of the materials that would be used and walked us through the entire process. My husband and I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and we gave them the job feeling comfortable that it would be done right. We had a nearly two week rain delay in the middle of the project which extended the turnaround time of the job, but as soon as the wet weather cleared, they finished it on the schedule we had discussed. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and some of our neighbors commented to us that the job site was kept neat and orderly throughout. Whenever I called with a question, I received a prompt, courteous call back. I would highly recommend the company to anyone considering a siding project.

Our recent project with RenovateRepair replacing our masonite siding with James Hardie ColorPlus siding was a positive experience from start to finish. George's presentation gave us a great lesson about the James Hardie ColorPlus product and process and gave us the knowledge to evaluate the other contractors more thoroughly. We selected RenovateRepair because their proposal was the most detailed, their bid came in approximately 20% less than the next closest competitor and their payment schedule was much more favorable. They were able to start a couple of weeks after we signed the contract. During the project, as promised, George stopped by each day for a considerable amount of time to be sure that the work was on track and to address any concerns. As a Project Manager, I admired how they were able to rearrange tasks to keep the work moving even on rainy days. We are delighted with the results and are definitely looking forward to the "no maintenance" part. There was some snag work to be done at the end, but that had more to do with some requested ancillary painting than the re-siding itself. George happily fulfilled our requests, even when I asked for the shade of black to be changed on our front door. We would definitely recommend RenovateRepair without reservation.

I have to say that this is probably the best experience I have had with a vendor. The crew that replaced my siding did a fantastic job and the carpentry work was also very well done. The attention to detail was stellar. I called them back to check on an issue that I thought may have been a problem and they came out promptly and fixed my issue even though it was not related to the original work. If you need this type of work done don't look past Renovate/Repair. They are top notch.

George and Susan and their team provided top class service from start to finish of the project and went beyond what you would normally expect. We had worked with them before to replace sections of rotten siding, however, when we got to a point where it made more sense to replace it all we didn't hasitate to contact them again due to our previous good experience. George provided estimates for different options from just fixing the rotten wood to total house siding replacement, including options of using pre painted planks. When, we needed to delay the project to save up they were more than happy to do with no pressure. We got an estimate from another company which was significantly more than Georges estimate. When we were ready to schedule the project the team was very professional even though the weather was less than ideal, worked hard and long to keep on schedule and limit any wear and tear on the garden. When they found major water damage on the chimney due to the rotten siding, George came to point out what had occurred, why and what needed to be done and how much it would cost which was a great help. Once the project was complete we were walked through what had been done and a few minor issues were corrected immediately. George and Susan also followed up on a regular basis and when we had an issue in the summer where the heat caused the shutters to expand and warp came to fix them in a timely manner. Many of the neighbors mentioned how good the siding looked. We are so happy we worked with Susan and George and would recommend them without reservation.
