Very well! Allison and her helper worked very hard for two days, and we made great progress. They had great ideas, lots of energy, and the kind of experience that we needed in order to find the proper homes for the things that we needed to donate. They were cheerful, considerate, and easy to work with. Highly recommended!
Description of Work: Removing and organizing belongings in our parents' home, where they had lived for 65 years.

Very well. Allison was on time and we got right to work. She was a pleasure to work with and created a stress free environment for me.

They were on time, lovely to work with, and very respectful with my belongings. They carefully and thoughtfully put everything away. Allison also helped find volunteers to take my boxes, which was great. I am very grateful for having found them, and recommend them highly to everyone and anyone. You couldn't find a nicer and more professional group of people.

The first step was reorganizing items by category, now I will go through it all and decide what to keep. Obvious discards and donations were culled as we organized categories. Now I will do a more rigorous process of what to keep, donate, discard. Allison will come back, after I do my 'homework' and help me figure out how and where to store things. She may even suggest some more discard and donate decisions. That's fine with me. :) Allison is bright,pleasant, and non-judgemental. She asks all the right questions when I am hesitant to make decisions. The cost was typical for this kind of service and in this case, worth every dime. This is THE person EVERYONE needs!
Description of Work: Helped me reorganize all my photos, memorabilia, items to donate and items to discard. I have not only my things to organize, but things from my mother's house - photos, memorabilia, paperwork. etc.

I found Allison online and hired her as a gift to help my mother get organized. She did such a fantastic job that I hired her to help me when I moved in to a new home. She is wonderful to work with, so positive and willing to help. We organized my walk in closet and pantry and I love it! She went to the Container Store with me to help pick out what I needed and came back to my house to help me assemble everything. I had a great experience and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for organizational help or even just to refresh what you already have!

Allison has been working with my husband and myself on sorting through many years' worth of accumulated trash and treasures. We got married last year and, living in an apartment, we HAD to downsize our clutter. We are both sentimental pack rats, combining our material lives was just double trouble. It was a big job, but Allison didn't blink, and I couldn't believe how many bags of trash and donate-able items left with her. What a relief! Over the holidays we bought and moved into a 5-bedrom house with lots of storage space. As a beginning point, I had Allison come back to help me with my paper clutter situation. I own my own business and have always obsessively saved every scrap of paper, not sure what to keep or throw away---for ten years. So, before I met with my accountant this year, I asked Allison to help me set up my home office. And once again, RELIEF. Not only did she help me sort all of the paper, piles and piles, she helped me learn what I could start shredding or trashing in the future so I wouldn't get myself into that mess again. I feel very confident going forward, because I do love organization, but I struggle with indecision and a tendency to want to keep things and quot;just in case.and quot; I've also had Allison come to my business and help me clear things out there (10 trash bags full at least!). Between apartment, business, office and the new home, I've used Reclaim for about 15 hours ($1125), but the fact I haven't had to haul things to the dump and donate items myself means I've saved a lot of time as well. Plus, after every session, Allison researched storage items and containers that would fit my space (based on precise dimensions) and emailed me suggestions for what to buy. I think her rate is actually quite low for all that she does (especially when you include the off-the-clock work) and how quickly. Allison has taught me to see things with an organizer's eye. I haven't had to get rid of all my personal items, just be very honest with myself about what matters and what doesn't. It's been freeing. I'd recommend Reclaim Professional Organizing to anyone--and have. I gifted a friend with a few hours with Allison because she's been very stressed about her lack of organization for a long time now. She was thrilled, and said the best thing about it was not feeling judged. I agree. Throughout the process, I felt as if I were simply spending time with a (very neat, efficient) friend who has the ability to give me and quot;that lookand quot; when I'm arguing to keep something useless. Quite the gift! Thank you, Allison!
Description of Work: Apartment: Sorted through closets, storage boxes, helped decide what to keep, what to donate, what to throw away. Business: Same as above, but helped put together a "system" for office area and work space. Found a place for everything. Also helped sort through storage and label boxes, put together a system for closet storage as well. Office: Sorted through ten years' worth of paper clutter and taught me how to prevent future paper clutter issues. New home: Looking forward to the NEXT session to organize storage and develop more "systems" of organization now that we have lived here a few months.
