The job went extremely well. The carpentry crew did all of the demo and replacement. There were a few quirky details that they worked through with us. The painting crew was fantastic and the quality was great. The whole operation was very professional and they worked with us to make sure we were happy with our end product.

The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. I would definately use Raleigh Windows and Siding on my next project.

Outstanding 3 man crew arrived on time and installed our (10) replacement windows per contract. Nice guys who did a great job in every way. Took them about 5 hours. Amazing crew and a solid company to do business with ..... If you are looking for quality work, then I highly recommend these guys (Nate and crew) and Raleigh Windows and Doors. We were happy with the low-pressure sales experience and the installation, which was all done in a day by a crew of 5 workers. The windows are a huge improvement over our old ones.

On both occasions, the overall process went very smoothly. From scheduling the first appointment to completing the work, the work proceeded without any major surprises or issues. I am very pleased with the quality of the windows, the installation process, and how the company engages it's customers. I once told Bruce Forster, the owner of RWS, that he was not a very good sales person - and I meant that as a complement. Bruce is very low key and matter-of-fact in his sales approach, unlike other companies which utilize questionable sales tactics.

The project took 6 weeks. All crews worked very hard and cleaned up after. Bruce Foster, the owner, was hands on to make sure the job went as smooth as possible. We were pleasantly surprised as to how quickly and efficiently the project went. The end result is beautiful and we are really pleased.

From start to finish Bruce Forster's Raleigh Windows & Siding were professional, thorough and very communicative. When hidden, underlying rot due to replacement windows that were improperly installed by another provider was discovered the crew took great pains to show me where the problems were. If I was not on-site, they took pictures and then forwarded them to me so I always knew what was going on. In the end, the job turned out beautifully. I would recommend this company to anyone. Excellent service. Great crew. Great work product!

Bruce, the owner, was incredible to work with. We got five or six other estimates that were not up to par with Bruce's. He provided a cost effective solution for a far better quality of product.

A sales rep came out to give an estimate on Okna 500 windows. He wasn't necessarily rude but he definitely did not put much thought or concern into our project. He was there for 20 minutes max. I chose to go with another local company. I was doing a full frame replacement on over 25 windows and a door. It was by no means a small project. They were going to make money. They didn't come with samples, brochures or even options. I elected to not even receive the quote because I take customer service serious.

Installation was excellent, but front door was missing so they had to come back to install that. The doors and windows were stainable, but it took a lot of time to get the stain to match existing wood - many days off work. However, the owner of the company was very responsive and even stayed with the workers a couple times, and the workers finally finished up on a Saturday so we didn't have to miss any more work.

Raleigh Windows & Siding was great from start to finish! We're remodeling our master bathroom, which had a large (approx. 48" square) clear glass window above a garden tub. We're converting the tub to a tub/shower, but didn't want to lose all the natural light from the window, and also wanted to make it a bit more private. Travis came out to our home to measure the window and discuss options for the space, and we ordered a frosted glass window with a pvc and fiberglass frame and trim. We were told at the time that the window would be in and ready for installation in 4-5 weeks. I followed up with Raleigh Windows & Siding about 3 weeks later and spoke on several occasions with Bruce, who scheduled our installation (it ended up being just about 5 weeks from our order date). On installation day, the installers (Nate and another guy - I don't remember his name) arrived promptly at 9:00 and got to work removing the old window and installing the new one, including putting in various layers of waterproof tape and vapor barrier under the window to make sure we didn't have any leaks. They finished in about three hours, and it looked great! We had a slight miscommunication between Nate and our contractor regarding the width of the trim, but I spoke with Bruce that afternoon and he had Nate come back out the following morning (for about 15-20 minutes) to address the issue at no additional cost. Overall, they were incredibly responsive and great to work with! It seemed like a pretty high price just for a window, but seeing how nice the window is and the amount of work they did to get it properly installed, I definitely understand the price (plus it was about $1000 cheaper than taking out our lovely large window and replacing it with a transom, and infinitely better than replacing the window with glass block!). They were also the only company in the area willing to install a window in a shower and guarantee their work (I called multiple companies, and actually had some come out to look at the bathroom before letting us know they wouldn't be able to help us). I'll definitely call them again for any future window needs.

We were very satisfied with them. They showed us a couple of different types of windows. We went with fiberglass windows. I thought their prices were fair. The quality of their work was excellent. One thing that stood out with them is that if they had any questions they would follow up with us and the sub-contractors would coordinate with the owner. The sub-contractors they used were excellent. I have recommended them to my neighbors.

An outstanding experience. Bruce & team replaced my home's siding plus repairs and staining of deck and some fascia repairs. From start (my initial call) to finish, Bruce was professional, knowledgeable, responsive to my needs, as were his teams throughout. He was generous in accommodating my changing work and travel schedule. The quality of work is obvious. Costs were competitive (I'd gotten other bids) and the value was outstanding. Job done in timely fashion -- as forecasted/promised and on steady pace. Cost structure, billing etc. all fair and transparent. I recommend Raleigh Windows and Siding without hesitation.

Raleigh Siding and Windows began siding replacement project on schedule and worked the project to completion. Installation foreman and the paointing foreman were both knowledge and easy to work with. They were receptive to suggestions and answered any question I had about the work.

The work team came on time, worked all day only taking time out for lunch, cleaned up after themselves and did very neat precise work.

Good initial demonstration with Bruce Forster providing a number of recommendations based on the style changes we wanted. I thought pricing was competitive. It was a complicated project due to how the original windows were installed, but the installers did an excellent job. They were courteous and very professional - excellent clean up and made sure we knew how the windows operated before leaving. Bruce followed up to make sure everything met our expectations. Highly recommended!

Bruce Forster who runs Raleigh Windows and Siding is a man of excellent character and integrity. His estimate of the work I desired was accurate, and his recommendations appropriate and professional. Succinctly - he understood what I wanted to accomplish, and was able to guide me and make good recommendations. Quality windows and siding aren't cheap, but after the work was completed and (because of my tardiness in writing a review) over the course of the past year I can say without hesitation that I am extremely happy I had the work done, and am extremely happy with the quality of both the windows, siding, paint, and installations. One of the results of this work that I didn't anticipate was how much quieter (and warmer!) my home was after the work was completed. This is a result no doubt of the thicker siding and the excellent window design. Very pleased with the Marvin Infinities both then and over the course of the last year while using them and cleaning them. Easy to use and very easy to clean. His on site work leaders were helpful and respectful, and his crews were generally careful and respectful of my property. The only complaint I had over nearly three weeks of work was that several shrubs and plants were damaged in my flower beds. Arguably that's not an unreasonable result while having a dozen workmen tromping around, dropping siding, and setting up scaffolds over three weeks. Bruce credited me some money to cover the damage when I brought it up. Additionally, his painting subcontractor (Toro's painting - Durham) did an excellent job repainting the remaining trim and gutters. Also Bruce's crew were kind enough to remove and replace 2 exterior doors, and all my exterior lamps and lighting with new equipment. A very above average experience having dealt with many contractors over the years and a very satisfying experience. And very pleased with the Hardie Plank and Marvin Infinity Fiberglass windows. Waste of 3.5 hours of our time. Then tired the high pressure technique by offering discounts "professional courtesy" if we bought that day and we told him know and then he asked my partner to take me in the other room and talk to me and make sure. Would not use or recommend this "deacon of the church" and this company to know one. They size you up $ wise when you walk in.

Bruce Forster and his crew did a wonderful job. The weather caused some problems but they were very flexible and did a great job working around.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Bruce and his team. From the time he stepped in my door for the estimate to the last day they worked on the house, everything was top notch. The roof was done first and a fabulous job. The overhang on one place was a little long, but they came back and fixed it to my liking. They could have done a better job of picking up nails, but everything else went well. The next crew came and started the siding removal and the window installations. I have 46 windows in my 4500 sq ft house and I replaced them all. They did them all from the outside and only had to come in to caulk when all was done. I love these windows! My energy bill as cut in half when they were done. The wrapped every window on the outside with Aluminum including the garage doors. Perfect. Steve, the crew chief, is fantastic. He toes the line and knows the work inside and out. He always had great ideas when I asked for input on items that needed my attention. He even told me how to fix my front porch posts that were rotting on the bottom and left me some material to do that. They were careful to pull down the front dental molding so the block could be reused...that is the only wood left on the house. They carefully wrapped the house with the hardy backer material and taped everything. The siding was done masterfully. The vinyl trim just as perfect. Can't say enough about how good this team and company is to work with. I have already made several recommendations and gave references for two as well. The best part of having it all done by one company is how easy it was to work with just one team. And the bonus I got is the amazing energy deficiency I now have. Less than one year later and the power company owes me over $800. I expect my budget to go from $161/month to around $80/month. Great company to do business with. Update: Found out this weekend that my basement bathroom vent pipe was never put back thru the siding. Contacted Bruce from RW&S via eMail. Had a response in one day that he would get one of his guys to fix it. Got a call today and Steve is set to come on Friday AM to make it right. That's service!

Raleigh Windows and Siding finished the job on time and within the budget.

The weather held the job up but all crews were very professional. The quality of work was very good and price was fair for the quality of work performed. We are very pleased with the patio sliders. The painting crew Bruce used was very good. We will use Bruce's company again when we have more house repair needed.

Bruce the owner was on time to measure the replacement window. Bruce install them was on time & installed the new window quickly w/ professional quality.

We met with Bruce and were blown away by his presentation - he was far more informative than any other company we talked to. His power point presentation totally explained all the options for replacement windows and gave a good understanding of the Infinity product. The installers arrived with the windows a few weeks later. What a hard working, courteous and professional team. They all introduced themselves, explained what they were doing and showed us how to operate the windows. They installed the windows in 2 days and they look and feel absolutely beautiful. We are delighted to be rid of the old drafty windows and will be interested to see our next heating bill.
