Description of Work: Metatarsalgia in my left foot and a numbness in my fingers on my left hand , that two orthopedic dr,s could not fix in 10 months, Dr Winget fixed that in a 2 week adjustment treatment

Description of Work: I have had several surgeries on my back and having pain once again I was grabbing at anything that might help me stay out of an operating room again. I was scared. I went to the internet to find out if there were any new innovations pertaining to my problem and there is. I called Raleigh Specific Chiropractic and discussed my problem and what I was looking for and would it be very expensive, and would my insurance pay for it. Yes, they can help me. No, my insurance will not pay however they will work with me so I can afford it. So I made an appointment, talked to Dr. Winget's wife about my problem and what I wanted to accomplish and was told once again that they work with patients so they can afford to get this specific treatment. My back is such that I cannot do specific things in the way of just any type of therapy. The decompression therapy reads like it will do wonders for my back and I am willing to try anything that is possible for my needs. The first treatment Dr. Winget performed on me had me lying face down on a platform table. I got comfortable and then he dropped the middle of the table out from under me and the pain was excruciating to the point I screamed. I cannot sleep on my stomach because it feels as though my back is breaking in to. He did not apologize but told me to sit up and he would do what he needed to do that way. The next visit there was a talk about doctors vs chiropractors, different types of patients and some were willing to pay for what they needed and the inferrence was that others were too cheap to pay for it. All that was working up to the exorbitant cost of this particular treatment and whether I was willing to pay for it. I was selected to be the first patient to see my x-rays and would be shown what I might be expected to expect and the price. What am I willing to pay to have treatment for my back, the doctor wants to know? I was actually kind of shocked at his manner which was a tad mean and bullying. He had me in tears and made me feel like a loser for not being able to afford his treatment. Dr. Winget is not a nice doctor, his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired and he was cruel to me.

Description of Work: I go to Raleigh Specific Chiropractic for my chiropractic care. He was able to help me with some neck pain that I started having following an accident.
