RALEIGH RUG COMPANY

Lousy experience. I was told when I ordered (and paid for) the rug that it would take 6-8 weeks to get it manufactured and delivered. After about 6 weeks I began calling weekly to get an update on my order. For another 6 weeks, I was lied to every time I called. Matt continually told me that the rug was on its way and should be here within the next few days. He even told me the last time I asked for an update that it was on the UPS truck, but couldn't give me a UPS tracking number (how do you know it is on the truck if you don't have a tracking number?) A few days later I called the manufacturer, who confirmed that they had received the order but refused to confirm that it had been manufactured or if it ever would be. They refused to comment on this retailer, but were happy to provide me with the name of another retailer in my area with whom I could place my order. Nine weeks into this process, I called MasterCard and put the charge into the dispute process, still hoping that the rug would eventually show up. All I can say is, thank goodness I used MasterCard instead of using a debit card because I don't know how I would have gotten my money back. After 3 1/2 months, it is painfully obvious that my rug is not coming. And now I have to wait 30 more days for the dispute process to be finalized with MasterCard before I can go to another retailer to order it. I will never do business with this company again and I recommend that anybody who considers buying anything from them, buy it only if you can carry it out of the store at the time of the purchase.
