The customer representative was very rude and we decided not to go with them. The quote was a take it or leave it presentation. We found another company to provide the work for less. They need to improve their interaction with customers. Their professionalism was not good.

We had a great experience! Ted helped us figure out the best configuration for our cabinets while keeping the same basic footprint. He took his time, and we never felt rushed. He returned our emails and calls promptly, even on a day when he was on vacation. Dave (the installer) was professional, friendly, and very helpful. He worked with us on a number of issues that arose from trying to keep the same footprint but use a slightly fancier layout (raised cabinets, fridge panel, etc). We are very happy with the finished look, and are amazed by the amount of value we received for the amount spent. I would recommend Ted and his team to anyone who wants a great new kitchen for an affordable price. The best thing is that I asked about certain upgrades and Ted told me not to bother wasting my money on them--he really was careful about my bottom line. That's a very rare experience in an industry that tends to "upsell." We're thrilled that we went with Ted and his team.

Project was completed on time and well beyond expectations.

From start to finish, this project was by far the easiest, least stressful one we've ever done. It was due to Ted Frazer's calm, relaxed attitude to the whole project. We had begun our kitchen redo ideas with refacing, but saw Ted's write up on Angie's list. So, we decided to call. We are so glad we did! He came out to our house promptly, we discussed a redo, got an on-the-spot estimate. We went out to his shop, saw the cabinets, and from there on, it was a "done deal". We discussed several options regarding placement, drawers vs. cabinets, etc. We also wanted several new drawers, and he found a way for us to get exactly the layout and composition we were after. We obviously needed countertops, so he referred us to the countertop people as well. Same scenario with the hardware. The date was set for the installation, and that went without a hitch. On time, Danny was great to work with. He installed all the cabinets on the first day, then came back on the second day to adjust doors, etc., and even vacuumed out the new cabinets! It was very, very smooth. Our kitchen is just beautiful! I love the cabinets, layout and can't wait for the countertops to be installed now! I'll recommend Raleigh Premium Cabinets to everyone I know.

My wife found this company on Angie's List. She told me it was cheaper buying new cabinets than getting them refaced. I was very skeptical at first. But we had Ted come over and he seemed like a great guy. I read all the reviews. He also gave me two references to contact. I was sold. The cabinets look great. But what impressed me the most was that the installer David came back several times to make minor corrections. He was very prompt about fixing the mistakes. We are very happy with the company and happily recommend him to others looking to get their cabinets redone. The only issue is that they do not remove the old cabinets. Either you do it yourself or you can pay Habitat $300 to do it. We went with Habitat. The cabinets may not be too hard to remove. But there is the issue of the sink and with electricity and we didn't think it was worth it.

Ted and his crew did a wonderful job from start to finish. Having had past experience with building a home, I could really appreciate Ted's responsiveness. Any time I asked a question, whether phone, email or text; I got an immediate response. Raleigh Premium Cabinets had the best product at the best price, and they were able to install the cabinets weeks before the other two companies could even get the cabinets in. An added bonus was that Ted referred us to the perfect company to handle the remodeling, All Brothers Construction (Mike Abraczinskas). Mike, the owner, is very knowledgeable about the whole process, so he was a great resource all along the way. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Raleigh Custom Cabinets and All Brothers Construction for any future projects.

The cabinets arrived ahead of schedule and were scheduled for pick up. Due to increment weather, the scheduled had to be modified to several hours ahead. The was no problem at all.

The cabinets were $3500 and we spent another $600 for delivery and installation. We don't have any complaints at all. Ted is very easy to deal with and personable. He is honest and straightforward. He sells a very good cabinet at a very reasonable price. They were very high quality. They were very punctual. We would definitely use them again if we needed more cabinets. We would certainly recommend them to anybody. We had a very good experience with them. He shares a showroom with another company that was also excellent.

Do not assume you can get "better" deals from big retailers for cabinets. Talk with Ted and get a few other estimates. I mistakenly assumed a small business might be higher. I was and am very pleased.

My wife had just purchased an investment property that needed a lot of work. We were planning to install new granite on an old cabinet. The person who took the measurements for the granite asked if we were changing the cabinets first. It was apparent to the granite person that the cabinets weren't in great condition. He said unfortunately, it will probably cost at least $5000- $6000 to get new ones and there was still the cost for the granite. My wife and I agreed that we shouldn't put granite on old cabinets, however, my wife didn't buy the $5000-$6000 cost for new cabinets as suggested by the granite person. She insisted there has got to be someone out there with a better deal. I perused the internet and there I found Raleigh Premium Cabinets. What stood out to me was $1650 for 10 feet of quality cabinets. I called Raleigh Premium Cabinets and spoke with the owner Ted Frazer. He asked me a few basic questions and later met up with us that same day. When he showed us the sample cabinet door we were astounded by the quality. To keep this story short and to the point we met Ted Saturday and our cabinets were installed 3 days later on Tuesday. When I advised the granite person that we got new cabinets installed and needed to be re-measured for granite counter top they were astounded to the fact that we had the cabinets already installed. The person mentioned that it usually takes several weeks to get this. Additionally, when the granite person came to re-measure he commented that the cabinets were very high quality and couldn't believe the price that we got for them. We love these cabinets so much that every time I get an opportunity to mention Raleigh Premium Cabinets I do. Since we've had the investment property cabinets installed - I am now thinking about having him give us an estimate on our property in Durham. If you are reading this review - don't look any further. Raleigh Premium Cabinets will give you the best deal. Their prices are unbeatable. You will be extremely satisfied.

I started looking for cabinets on Craigslist. I could easily find used cabinets of good quality at a decent price in this area on Craigslist. I did find some good used cabinets, practically new. However, I would have to order a few to complete my kitchen. When the cabinets came down, the construction was solid doors, but particle board sides and back--not even MDF which is slightly better. My husband refused to buy these high end cabinets due to poor construction. While the outside was impressive the construction was poor. So I checked Angie's list and Craigslist and reviews and found Raleigh Premium Cabinets. I also googled for information on this company. Another issue is getting cabinets from most places (think blue and orange) took three-four weeks. However, Raleigh Premium Cabinets can replace a cabinet the same day. We had ordered an end cabinet that was a 45 degree angle, but my husband believed a full cabinet would work better. Same day, this cabinet was replaced and installed. The price for these new cabinets was comparable to the used cabinets and adding the additional cabinets I would have to order . When buying used cabinets and ordering a few new cabinets, there is an issue with color matching. Raleigh Premium Cabinets are all solid wood construction--back sides and bottoms. We are very satisfied with these cabinets and the services performed.

Ted was very easy to deal with and very responsive to about million questions I asked. He stands behind his product. Ted went out of his way to ensure our project deadlines were met. Danny, the installer, was unbelievable. Our house is very old and presented quite a few challenges. Danny never blinked. He had a solution for every issue that he faced. We are very pleased with the experience of ordering the cabinets and having them installed. Thank you!

He is the only one in the area that was just really excited about helping me get my kitchen done. He was very interactive and great with suggestions.
