The technician arrived on time and performed a check on the system to determine the issue. Luckily it was an easy fix for us as our drain line was not straight in our attic and water was gathering where it drops. He went ahead and cleaned out the drain and then showed me where I need to elevate the line to prevent this from happening again. We were very happy with the work and technician.

We hired Raleigh Heating & Air to replace an air conditioner at one of our rental properties. The unit they replaced it with was damaged during install, and was not installed properly. When we called to complain the company sent someone out and inspected it and apologized, and replaced the unit with a new (better) one, hired a painter to paint a wall that was damaged and gave us a discount on the overall price with sincere apologies. They told us they had terminated one of the employees who did the first install and the other was receiving disciplinary action. Even though our initial experience was not positive, I was happy they were able to rectify the situation and make things right for us.

They "fixed" the system by setting the upstairs thermostat to 75. Then they charged us $85 to fix THEIR MISTAKE! Now they have asked us to take our business elsewhere because the system THEY installed has too many problems.

Well. My system went down in the middle of the night. temp in my house was 81 @ 2 am. got to 83 by 12 pm. later. as soon as the office was opened, i called and was fortunate there was an opening the same day. i expected no one before 6 pm. to my surprise a technician arrived shortly after 12 pm. within 1 hour my system was up and running. he was most professional and easy to do business with. i was and remain a happy person at the end of this transaction. most happy. and, just so you all know, this business was listed in our HOA "contractors" list. so far we have not been disappointed by any on our list as we personally have vetted them!! In addition to the cost of the service i went ahead and had them do an inspection of my entire unit. they wiil return in the fall to do the same for my heating system. paid for this in additon to the service for the A/C.

I was having a temp issue in a hallway, too - it was warmer than the rest of the house - so while he was here he took the time to figure out what the problem was and suggest a solution. He was great! I've had this company out twice. Two different service reps. They were both excellent. Great job, Kevin! Thank you.

Diane, customer service, is always pleasant, courteous and is always willing to accommodate my schedule. Tim, the assigned technician, was very prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable.

Josef has been our service man the last couple times, and I am very pleased with his courtesy, professionalism, and helpfulness. He is very careful to keep his shoes covered when he is in the house and never complains when he has to climb up into the attic to work on the upstairs unit - even in 90 degree temps. He found a refrigerant leak that required adding refrigerant, but he put in just enough to get up to standard without adding any unnecessary amounts (cost is about $100 per pound).

It worked for three weeks and I installed a new unit.

They were expensive. The quality was good but they were much more expensive than another company. For example for filling the gas or the coolant in the air conditioner, so the one company charged like $80 they were charging $140. So they are definitely more expensive. Scheduling them to come out & communicating with them was good. I think I liked the paperwork. They had all things written and they had you sign the paper and they showed you the bill. That part was good. I would definitely like to use someone who is the same quality but at market price, not above market.

The Raleigh Heating & Air team reached out to me for additional details of the experience, and we worked out a solution that made everyone happy. In the end, I'm satisfied--and I would stress again that all of their technicians have been good to work with. I wish it didn't take a little bit of a runaround to get to a good place, but I'm happy to say that we've reached an agreement.

The repair was for a capacitor burn-out. Raleigh Htg. & Air diagnosed this correctly and fixed it within the estimate they gave. Also contracted was for their seasonal maintenence. This too went as expected and within the contracted cost. Raleigh Htg. & Air did a great job !!!

They came out to service the system and charged me $400. After they left, my air did not work. So I called them back out and the second guy said it was my duct work and he replaced a piece of it. He said it may be an issue in the wall. He charged me another $400.00. I still did not have it working like it was supposed to and I would not use them again.

Raleigh heating and air required a person to come out and check the air duct and returns to make sure that everything would work if they did the work. The tech then created a computerized quote in detail of all the steps and charges then told me that the system qualified for the Duke energy rebate and said he would do all the paper work all he needed was a copy of my power bill. I was so impressed with the service that I put my lower house heat pump under their maintenance contract.

Everything went very well. Replaced ducts that were over 40 yrs. old. Duct insulation was coming off and allowing dust, etc enter the home and was not very efficent. With new duct work the dust problem is history and system seems to run more quietly. Cleaned up after work was completed. Am very pleased with the end result and should save on the electric bill, too.

They came on a Thursday for the estimate and they installed on the next Thursday. They gave me an estimate and that's exactly what it was. They charged me exactly what the estimate was. I had warned them if they gave me an estimate I expected that's what it was to be. I wasn't gonna hear about any other added things after they'd given me the estimate and I had told them they were going to do the installation. I don't appreciate hearing after you're doing the work, there were extra charges for x, y or z. I said if you give me an estimate for installation, I want it to be turnkey. I told them, any errors or any omissions in the estimate, those are your's to eat, not me. You're giving me an estimate for what it's going to cost. They agreed to that and so it was exactly what they said it was going to be. The kind of systems that I ultimately bought, that was the most of expensive one. I went online and spent several hours online doing research on brands and reliability of different brands and stuff. The brand that I bought is considered of the more expensive and reliable brands. So I guess in terms of price, it was pretty expensive but I think it was probably a fair price. It's only been in for 2 weeks but so far so good. Time will tell on that. The installers came when they said they would be here and did what they said they would. I watched them work and they were very professional. They were punctual and professional in dealing with me. They answered all my questions. They did a thorough cleanup. They tested the system and we have not had to have them back for any adjustments. It took about 5 hours.
