Never showed up. Called at 4:30 to see about rescheduling for tomorrow. My advice, don't bother. I have no issues with being busy, but calling an hour and a half late to reschedule is not what I would call reliable.

He repaired the door on Friday. When I went to close the door on Monday, it would not close because the cables had come off again. I travel so it is important that the door closes when I am not home since no one is there. When I called to have someone else come and look at it...conveniently no one was available, and when I was transferred to customer service to complain of course I got a voicemail where I could leave a message I ended up calling someone else to fix the door which did it for a fraction of the cost and was very timely in getting to the house. I would not recommend nor use this group again.

arrived about 40 minutes past the time they were supposed to arrive, but they were professional and did a nice job. The technician showed me the work he was doing and why he was making the recommendations for repair. I was very pleased with the result and I would use them again

The Garage Door Service technician, Craig, was prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional. He confirmed the appointment in advance, quickly replaced the springs and sensor wiring, suggested an improvement, and updated the remotes. Excellent!

Scheduling was prompt (appointment the day after I called). We thought we had a circuit board problem, but turned out to be a dumb error on our part. Nevertheless, rollers needed replacing and spring adjustment made. Now both garage doors are much quieter in operation. Never having had it done before, I have no idea if the cost was appropriate, but I'm satisfied with the work thus far.

Called on Monday to schedule an appt., they could have had someone come out that day but I wasn't available. Made the appt. for weds. Tony came out, evaluated the garage door, and got it fixed in less than an hour. They have great prices and awesome discounts online. Plus they offered a warranty. There staff is very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Craig Daniels replaced our garage door spring. Very professional, polite, knowledgeable and quick. I called them at 9 am and at 10 am the repairman arrived. He also called 20 minutes before his arrival to tell me his name and he was on his way. Pricing was very competitive. We would rate them as excellent and would certainly call them again.

Tech called ahead, was on time and professional.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. They are rip-off artists. I should have known from their website (which scrolls coupons). We were quoted a price of $89-$250. When "the dude" showed up (45-55 mins. later than I was told, in a beat-up, unmarked truck with bald tires and a cracked windshield) he took about 3-4mins to summarize that I needed both springs replaced and this was due to my tracks never being lubed and my rollers being bad, but good news: with a coupon they could throw new rollers in for $99.95 (regularly $175); grand total estimate: $750! "Technician" (AKA: "the dude") was unprofessional and used inappropriate language on the phone with his office in regards to my wife (which, in fairness, I met with stronger language as I "asked him off our property").

I was a little disappointed because, it seemed like it wasn't the overhead door company that came. It seemed like it was an independent contractor that came because, of a call center. When he showed up he didn't have the parts but, the ad said that he would have the parts for our garage door opener. It wasn't a Lift Master. He had to replace it. He was a nice guy but, we felt like it was misleading. I asked him about the parts, I had told them what kind of opener that we had. I have to say that we weren't as satisfied as we had been with other Angie's List referrals. He came in on a Sunday. Then we had to reprogram our cars to it. I felt like it was more of a hassle than it need to be. They said that I would get a discount for being a member of Angie's List but, he said that only if I spent an X amount of money. The price was high. It is working fine and he came out right away.

They did well. He did what I asked him to do. He did it in a timely manor.

They were great. My husband backed into the garage door and they fixed it. They were able to take the bend out of it and fix it. They were nice, very nice and very professional.

I spoke with several companies and two of them would not be able to come for at least two weeks. One company decided to give me a quote of more than $1000 and suggested door replacement instead of repair. I searched the web and found this company. The service person said that they would have to stop by to look at my problem before they could suggest of anything. The service representative showed up, checked on my door and told me repairs would be sufficient enough to make my door work again. The cost was basically 1/5th of the other’s quote. He did the repair quickly and thoroughly, making the door work once more.

The house that I purchased the service for was a house I'm selling and I live 30 minutes away from it, so I made sure I was at the house by 12pm so I could be there to let the service technician in, just in case he got there right at 12pm. The company called me at 12:26pm to say that the technician was running late and that he would be at my house closer to 3pm, because they had received a delivery that morning and were running behind schedule. I asked him if he he would make it there by 3pm, because I had to work at 6pm and I wanted to make sure there would be enough time to perform the job. He then offered me to reschedule for the next day, which I was reluctant to do since I had other appointments the next day. But he offered me that as a "back-up" in case the technician didn't make it on time. This made me question whether the technician was going to make it to my house within the oringinally scheduled time, if he was offering me to reschedule, so I asked him to have someone call me back who had a better idea of when the technician would be arriving to my house. The sales manager (Dan) called me back 10 minutes later and stated there were 3 jobs ahead of mine, all in Cary (mine was in Durham). He assured me that the technician would definitiely be there by 3pm, because the jobs before mine were simple ones. He said that the technician would call me when he was on his way to my house . At 3:35pm, after no phone call, I called back to Garage Door Service Co., and asked to speak with the manager, Dan, whom I spoke with before. I explained to him that no one had called or showed up yet and I asked him what his company intended to do to remedy this, as I had now waited 3.5 hours. He started to get very condescending with me and stated that it was my fault for not rescheduling the appointment for a later date, when it was offered to me. He did not understand how I had arranged my schedule to have this block of time off to meet the technician. He asked me what did I do for a living and hasn't anyone ever showed up for work late at my place of employment. I explained to him that I'm a registed nurse, and that is not an option in my line of work. I also told him it was not right to compare my job to his. I explained to him that I paid for a service and I wanted his company to fulfill their side of the agreement. He stated "you haven't paid a dime to this company." I felt that to be very insulting because I paid the money to Amazon Local for the deal, but I should still be treated as fairly as any other customer, regardless of how they receive their fee. He continued to argue and yell at me and talk over me, which I thought was very rude and disrespectful, especially for a manager. He kept referring to the fact that one of his reps offered me to reschedule my appointment to a later date and I failed to accept the offer, but he didn't appreciate the fact that I had arranged my schedule to accommodate the serviceon this day and that I had already lost 3.5 hours of my time, which I think is valuable. I also told him that I was in the middle of selling this house and I needed the service provided as soon as possible. He then stated "You shouldn't have waited until the last minute to have this service done!" That angered me because I purchased the service on 4/7/14, called to schedule it on 4/8/14, and they offered me the time slot of 12p-3pm on 4/9/14, so I did not wait unitl the last minute. Even if I had, that is no way to treat a customer and instill confidence in a company. He continued to argue with, yell at and belittle me, so I hung up on him. He called me back at 4:15pm and told me the technician was on his way. I told him that the deal was off and that they were unreliable and that I would no longer need their services.
