We are very happy with the work of Rainbow Uphostery to recover our beloved sofa and chair! Chuck Bullock was very pleasant and responsive throughout the process. The workmanship is high quality and the cost is reasonable. The final result exceeded our expectations---we highly recommend Rainbow Uphostery!

I have used Chuck and his team for several pieces. They are simply great.

At our first visit, Carla was extremely helpful in making our fabric decision. She was careful in explaining the fabric we liked was not a durable upholstery fabric but with the proviso of no hard use, dogs or children and matching difficulties with the pattern, we felt comfortable with our choice for our taste and budget. Rainbow did not mind that we purchased our fabric from another source. Now to the great stuff. The work on the sofa exceeded our expectations. The layout of the pattern was well thought out and matched really well. The matching toss pillows were well made, firmly pliant. The speed of the work once it was picked up was remarkable. From Tuesday to finished and delivered on Friday. Now we did have about a month before Rainbow took the sofa. What we liked is they pick the furniture when they are ready to work on it. There is not a sofa missing from the house for 5 weeks, for example. We thought the pricing was very fair for the work.

The folks at Rainbow helped me through the entire process. They guided my decision in the fabric, and confirmed my ideas would either turn out well or suggested I rethink some things. Thank goodness when the trim (tassels, rope, fringe) came, Carla saw it was not a good fit color-wise to the fabric I had chosen. Instead of just going ahead with the project (which they could have done...I had chosen and finalized everything)...luckily she gave me a call and said she thought the color of the trim could be a problem. She managed to return my original order (and I know this is not always possible, but in this case it worked out...yay! no cost to me) and helped me select something that would be better. As it turned out, her recommendation was spot on and the result could not have been more beautiful. We went from the original gold colored trim to an antique white trim (gold highlights) that is much prettier and at a better price! It was just delivered today and I can't believe how beautiful it is! The pictures do not do it justice. My taste is not typical, but they were able to figure out what I like and show me things that would fit my style. The actual upholstery work is tight and exact....no corners are cut. This is the third piece I've worked with Chuck and Carla on, and they have delivered beautiful furniture every time! I love that there is as much detail and interest in the back as well as the front of each sofa.

Every step of the way went smoothly, from returning my call, to making suggestions for ways to modernize, providing an estimate, keeping me informed about the process and finally delivering a fabulous new/old couch. Fantastic job!

It has been over 10 days since my initial contact with this company in which I was seeking to schedule a consultation. I filled out a contact form, sent an email and sent them a message to their Facebook account. I have yet to receive a response. The work appears to be nicely done but I won't be using this company. The response time is awful and they must be pretty busy if they can't take the time to reply to new business leads. ***UPDATE*** I thought I would give this company one more chance and so I contacted them again this year requesting a quote or information on another piece of furniture that I wanted to have upholstered. My initial date of contact was June 3rd. I received a reply back from them on June 20th, 17 days later. They still have not improved on their response time. Furthermore, I went to another upholsterer for a consultation who actually didn't have the expertise to do the work I needed. They referred me back to Rainbow. I explained I would not be going there because of the last two experiences I had with follow up. The person that I was speaking with said, and quot;I am so surprised to hear that. I have heard the same thing from a few other customers of oursand quot;. Bottom line, stay away from this place.

I have a big contemporary L shape sectional sofa that needed to change the cover including the cushions. They were very helpful to find the right color and the fabric which is purple velvet! They did a great job, turned my sofa to trendy and elegant piece! Their customer service is amazing, pick-up and delivery time is perfect and on time. If you need to renew your furniture, call Chuck. I recommend to everyone!

Great job. We had the 3 seat cushions replaced with one long cushion. It is very comfortable and the couch looks outstanding. I've had work done by rainbow in the past and pieces upholstered by them over 5 years ago still look brand new.

Gave estimate for repairs based on photos rather than in-person inspection, but stayed with the estimate when it came time to do the repairs. Repair work itself is excellent ... able to work with extra fabric in the original upholstery to make totally undetectable repair. Customer service poor. Didn't reliably answer the phone or return phone calls. Gave only vague ideas of when work would be completed, got defensive when we tried to pin them down to specific date.

WE WERE IN A REAL CRUNCH BEFORE A WEDDING AND HAD TO HAVE THESE CHAIRS DONE. THEY TOOK THE TIME OUT OF THEIR SCHEDULE TO FIT US IN AND GOT THE CHAIRS DONE, AND THEY LOOK GREAT.
