Great job, on time and great quality

I used Rain-Go 2 yrs ago on my last home and called them again because I was very please with their work and the cost. Once again they did a great job. Tim, the owner, is great to work with. I knew exactly what I wanted this time but he will show you many options if you want to see what is available. They had the work completed in a few hours. When the next heavy rain came, I realized I needed another small piece of gutter and a down-spout added which he had someone come out within the week to do, and also make a few adjustments based on my observations during the rain. The gutters look great and are doing a great job.

I was totally impressed with the work done by RainGo. When Tim came out for the estimate, he spent THREE hours assessing every inch of our home. Suzanne was terrific to work with getting our home scheduled and running through all the details. And Tim's team was fantastic -- true craftsmen who worked full days throughout the job! They were respectful, did quality work -- the roofing, wood rot repair, gutters, and painting -- and cleaned up throughly at the completion of each day. Praises all around for a job well done! Excellent work for a fair price. I was very happy we selected RainGo for this job.

Excellent. Tim the owner came out to give me an estimate and go over my choices. I had to wait a couple of months before they could get out to my house because of the volume of work they had at the time. But I was clearly advised of that and had no problem waiting. When it was time for the job to be done the crew was right on time, the work was done wonderfully and the price was right on target. Hurricane Matthew came through and was a final exam on the gutters. They worked perfectly. I paid for bigger 6 inch gutters and a higher end gutter guard and the price was very affordable

They were very prompt. My interaction with them was good. The estimate was very detailed. They were professional.

Great to work with and high quality work. They aren't cheap, but the work is excellent. They have their own gutter cap system, which is working very well; I like it much better than the Leafguard that was on the house before.

Excellent. Tim was great to work with. He kept me posted on expected start time, and was there when they said they would be there. His crew work very hard, and Tim was on site most of the time. I highly recommend that you include Rain-Go in your list of possible roof/gutter contractors.

Rain-Go did an outstanding job on my house! Because my gutters were not adequate (ever) for the intense rain storms we sometimes get and I had actually been bailing water from overflow into big tubs, and because I had dry rot on a lot of the siding and trim, it was a huge advantage that Rain-Go could handle all aspects of the job and I didn't have to coordinates different contractors.

We were very pleased with the exceptional job performed by Tim and his crew. We moved into a newly constructed home a little over a year ago. We have lots of pine trees surrounding our house. The pine needles caused major overflow, so we had to have something done to address the problem. Not just cleaning the existing needles out, but something to prevent the overflow. After researching the myriad of different types of gutter guards and the different companies, we settled on Rain-Go of NC and we are so glad we did. Tim Howell and his team did a fantastic job. We've had a number of major rain storms and not one overflow. The vast majority of the pine needles simply blow off and any remaining at the end of the season, we can simple sweep away with the telescopic broom he gave us. We highly recommend Rain-Go Exterior Services.

I had used Rain-Go about two years ago for a gutter replacement. When I needed to have my roof replaced, they were who I called. Very satisfied with the work that Rain-Go does. They showed up each day as scheduled. They cleaned up at the end of each day. I would definitely use Rain-Go in the future.

Would highly recommend. They are were on time, very knowledgeable, and explained everything thoroughly to me on the work that needed done. My gutters have been spilling over badly, thus they re-sloped them and they were additionally hung too high (which they also corrected). They also looked at my other gutters and flashing, and noted some of the flashing was installed poorly by a previous contractor (who I will not be using again), and corrected those issues for me as well. They went above and beyond, and I would absolutely use them in the future.

From the beginning Tim was professional and direct. He answered all questions and responded in a timely manner if the phone call was missed. His crew showed up on time and completed the work without breaks (even though I offered). They welcomed me to hang out and ask questions as they went along and in no way made me feel as if I was in the way. The work consisted of dark brown custom gutters with hats and downspouts. Before installing the gutters they rebuilt and painted some rotted soffit and fascia boards as needed for a secure foundation to hang the gutters. If I recall correctly they showed up at about 8am and were finished by lunch. To give you an idea my home is about 1500 sqft.

A+++ I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Tim arrived very quickly for a walk around and estimate following my initial contact with Susan. We discussed several projects on our to do list. Tim made recommendations as to how certain items needed to be addressed. He completed the estimate during the first visit and advised when the next opening in their schedule would be. Following our approval, the crew showed up in full force exactly when they said they would. They let me know exactly what they were going to do and when. Everyone on the crew was professional a very courteous. Everything was cleaned up and put away properly at the end of each day. I am completely satisfied with the work and the entire process. They show up when they say, do high quality work for a fair and reasonable price. They may be very busy and can't get to you right away. If so, you will know that up front and it is well worth any wait that you may have. One other item on my to do list is roof replacement. I have some life left on it, but will definitely have the Rain-Go crew back when it is time.

I know the company is very busy and I scheduled the work back in early Dec. At the time they told me that it would be approx March before they could come out. I was very happy to hear from them a month early. The crew showed up on Thursday morning and got to work taking measurements. It started to rain heavily and they told me they had to pack-up but would be back early on Friday. So on Friday morning two trucks of guys showed up a little after 8 and got to work. They reviewed the downspout placement with me and were cutting and bending gutter by 9 am. The crew finished up around 3pm and walked me through everything they did, including adding removable sections of downspout to direct water around my AC units. I'm very happy with how the gutters and guards look, I just need to wait for the next rainstorm to see how well they work.

Tim arrived at my house at the arranged time to look at the job and provide an estimate. I found him to be technically knowledgeable, observant, insightful, and a careful listener. I really liked his approach to some tricky roof work. I found the warranty that he offered on his work to be superior to the other estimates. Cost is higher than other estimates that I received but judging from the estimate description, it appears the difference is because of better quality and thoroughness.

Nothing was wrong with the installation of the original gutters they put in. We think something happened when the gutters were cleaned last week. Tim and Jeremy came out in the pouring rain on Dec. 23rd and spent an hour putting additional flashing on the gutters and sealing up where they think the leak may have been. Their fixes did the trick and we have no more water leaking down to our window. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to friends/family who have any exterior repairs needed.

They arrived on time, did the installation, cleaned up, and did an excellent job. This was the second time we used this vendor. Both times the job was done on time at the price quoted. Exceptional work!

Outstanding work and craftsmanship in all aspects of our gutter replacement project, including repairs needed where wood rot was found. The crew worked so well together with professionalism and expertise. They were meticulous in cleaning up before they left our property, including use of a metal detector to ensure no sharp objects were left behind. Great attention to every detail of the job and we are thoroughly pleased with the outcome. Trustworthy and competent and a pleasure to work with. We plan to use their roofing services for additional work that needs to be done.

Tim Howell, the owner, made a couple of visits to our home in late July to provide us a quote on the repairs. He provided helpful information about various alternatives. I felt no pressure to select a higher-priced alternative, and he even questioned the value of certain higher priced alternatives we were considering. I considered the quote for about one month and formally requested the work on Sept 3. At that time, they were booked through mid-Oct. Tim called back on Oct 23 to provide us an estimated start date. (They had experienced delays due to 12 straight days of rain in late Sept.). The work commenced on Wed Nov 4, and the entire job was completed on Fri Nov 6 at the end of the day. Tim did not require payment until after the job was completed to our satisfaction. There were several things I liked about working with this business: First, it was clear from the Rain-Go website, conversations with Tim and the crew, and observing their work, that these individuals were craftsmen who were individually motivated to do their work carefully. For example, in the repairs around the back porch, they didn't stop at just satisfying the letter of the work contracted for. Instead, they did what was necessary to fully solve the problem. I'm not a contractor myself, but I could see the installations had been done well. All the lines were was straight and neat. Second, they did a great job in communicating with both my wife and me about the status of the repairs. They asked for input at the appropriate times to make sure that issues were getting addressed in the way we desired. Everyone I spoke with, including Susan, who runs the office, was very pleasant. Third, they arrived on time and finished the job in a very timely manner (faster than I had expected and better than they had estimated). At the end of each day, the work areas were left clean. I saw no loose nails on the ground after the job was over. Finally, they also included, as a bonus, replacement of the steps on our front porch. I think that Tim and I may have talked about doing this, but it had not ended up in the quote for the job. Nonetheless, they went ahead and took care of this for no extra charge.

Things have always gone very well with Rain Go.. As explained above, Tim Howell looked at my downspout issue and the other outdoor non-gutter, non-spout issues on which I had to have work. As described above, after Tim explained his suggestions, he said he would send out his guys to come screw down the downspout and refused to charge me, even though this was not part of the work his crew had done in installing the gutters a couple of years before. He also noticed some pine straw was sticking to the covers of the gutters (these are the gutters that do not require cleaning out leaves because of the covers). He then asked if his guys a couple of years before had provided me a brush and long pole to clean off the pine needles. They had not so he said he would make sure they would bring me one when they would come out to screw down the downspout, both of which they did a couple of days later. Tim also refused to accept payment for the brush and pole even though I pointed out that the pole was not offered in the price of the gutters and I did not expect it. He insisted on providing it for free nonetheless. On the original installation of the gutters, Tim's folks did a great job and deserved As in all respects had I done a review. A year later they immediately came out and made a repair when I called them that an end cap had come lose and a squirrel was using the gutter to make its way into our attic. They immediately stood behind their work at no charge for that adjustment. Tim Howell is a h*** of a person that stands behind his company's work. It is not a surprise that he and Rain Go get great Angie's List ratings.

When the siding was removed we discovered much more damage than I knew about. The water had rotted away the plywood sheeting, and into the wood framing and roof. There was major repair required on 2 walls, the and entire length of the chimney. *Though they had scheduled 2 days, the additional work ended up taking a total of 5 days, but they worked every day inducing Saturday util everything was completed. *before leaving everyday they cleaned up the the yard thoroughly and covered all exposed wood with tyvek sheeting *all of the crew was experienced, knowledgeable and professional. *they were able to quickly do extras I requested, such as adding new hot and cold faucets on external wall. *they managed to save money by reusing existing siding. *they are a small but efficient crew. No sub contractors, no sales people Highly recommend RanGo. They did not try to sell me anything I didn't need, or suggest any work that didn't need to be done.

Tim came out and looked at the issue and gave me a quote. He explained what was happening and why and that it was purely cosmetic. I had already used him for my gutters several years ago so I knew what to expect in dealing with his company. He said he would get me on the schedule but it might be a couple weeks. His scheduler called me a day later and said they would be by on the Saturday morning of the same week and knock it out. They showed up promptly at 9am and did the job exactly as expected. I wasn't home when they finished but I know it didn't take them very long and everything looked great. Tim and Rain-Go are great!

Submitted my request through Angie?s list and the were prompt contacting me back. I sent over pictures of the gutter that needed to be replaced. They scheduled me around 2 weeks out, but actually got it done with a few days. They were in the area and worked us in the schedule . Very nice to work with.

Tim and his crew were amazing to work with. Tim is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and low-pressure in his sales tactics. He gave a us a very detailed quote and spent time with us talking through what he thought were the best options for our home and our needs, even if an option meant the bottom-line cost would be less expensive. We purchased our home new and scheduled Tim to install the gutters the week after we closed. We moved the closing up by a week and Tim was able to accommodate that with his schedule and came out to install the day after we bought the house. The builder of our home installed a small section of gutter unbeknownst to us, which did not match the house trim, nor did it match the gutters we ordered. With last-minute notice, Tim offered to remove the gutter at no extra charge. His crew was done with the job in 4-5 hours and the gutters look great. We've had a few heavy rains since installation and they're definitely doing their job! We are thoroughly pleased with the product and service we received at Rain-Go and I've already recommended Tim and his crew to others. Thank you, Tim & Susan!
