Rain-Go Inc - Gutters, Siding & Ext Carpentry Svc

No problems except that it started pouring rain and storming just as they were finishing up so I was worried about clean-up but I didn't have any major clean-up issues after the storm passed.

It was a good experience. It was very quick--they did it all in under 3 hours. It looks good. The only concern was about the gutter guard that they put in, because they aren't 100% efficient. They had the best prices for this quality of gutters and were very professional and friendly to deal with.

My home had gutters that were too small for the house and the fascia boards were rottening. After reading the great reviews for Rain-Go, I called for an estimate. Tim, the owner, was close to my home and asked if he could meet me within a few minutes. Tim showed up within 30 minutes and gave me an estimate. I hired Tim to do the work. Tim called me Monday to inform me that his crew would be ready to start work on my home the next morning. His crew showed up around 8:00 am and immediately went to work. They worked until late that evening. They returned this morning and completed the job. The gutters and gutter helmuts look so much better. I'm sure that they will be able to handle the rain coming off the roof. The rotten fascia boards were replaced and painted. Tim and his crew were very professional, dependable, and cleaned up at the end of both workdays. GREAT job! I would definately use Rain-Go again.

I called Rain-Go about replacing and cleaning downspouts. I received an immediate response and the owner came by the same day with what I thought was a reasonable price without doing more work than was necessary. We set a work date which was kept and all of the work was completed for the price agreed upon. There were no issues and no complaints.

I called this company because I saw positive reports on Angies List. Tim returned my call on a Saturday and we set up a meeting to get an estimate on Monday. He was prompt, polite and knowledgable. My house is 27 years old and needs a lot of sprucing up. Tim and I walked around the house and talked about the existing gutter system. He had some suggestions, bigger gutters and spouts to handle the steep roof flow and as he looked at the rotten boards over my porch that had been replaced 3 times already he asked if anyone had ever suggested adding a gutter on the roof over the front porch to keep the water from hitting the little porch roof and splashing on the siding causing the rotten wood...........made sense to me and no, no one had ever made that suggestion. He showed me the different helmet options and suggested I have the helmet match my roof color so they would not stick out. Who knew they came in colors, FINALLY, someone who knew what he was doing! His estimate was $200 more than one I had to just replace the existing gutters and he replaced all those boards for what the company quoted to replace 2 boards, it was not hard to say you are hired. Since I was getting my roof replaced that week we didn't set up an exact time for his work to begin. He said he was free in 3 weeks. Tim called this week and said he had time to come today if that would work for me, it did and he came. I was already at work when he arrived, it rained really hard during the day so I had no idea what they would get done. I came home this evening to beautiful new gutters, new siding, and men painting my house. They got the gutters up before it rained, and they saw them in action! The boards and painting were done after the storm passed and things dried out. The gutters look fantastic! I would recommend this company to anyone! Thanks Rain-Go!

Outstanding!!!!!! I emailed Tim and received a call from him the next morning. Tim came out the same day he called me and gave me a full explanation of the different types and styles of gutters. I asked for a quote for the gutters with and without covers and Tim did the estimate within 15 minuets. The estimate came with a start date and the time it would take to finish the project. I was so impressed with Tim that I accepted the estimate on the spot, I don't usually commit to work without multiple bids but i was that impressed with Tim. Tim called me a few days before his start date and asked if it was OK to start a few days early. Tim called one hour before the start time just like I had asked and showed up on time. Tim's crew is small and very professional and polite. The crew finished my home in just a few hours, the house is over 5000 sq ft. I work in the aviation field and do not accept anything less than perfection in work that is done for me. The gutters that I had installed are outstanding and they are a thing of beauty. I cannot recommend Tim and his crew highly enough. Can I say that I couldn't have gotten the work done cheaper, no I can't. Can I say that i have quality gutters without having to badger the workers for perfection, yes I can. Would I hire Tim to do more work for me, yes absolutely !!!!!!!

We are new to the area. After we moved into our home, we found that we had a serious problem with our gutters overflowing. One company wanted to charge me $90 just to come out and assess the problem, another came out and said it would take $6,500 to replace the gutters with larger ones even though our home was only seven years old. Rain-Go-Way drove all the way out to our house and found that the problem was not the size of the gutters, but that the gutter protection system on the home, while very expensive, was not well suited for high volume run off. They suggested we strategically alter the gutter protection system in certain areas to allow for more water flow. The company came out on time, did the suggested alterations, and cleaned up the site all for $400!! They could have sold us all new gutters, but they did what was best for the customer. It has been several months now, no sign of any gutter overflow! Great Job!

Great experience from start to finish. We needed new gutters since taking the old ones off for fascia repairs and replacements. We didn't want to put up the old style nail in gutters because of the problems they were causing w/ rot. So, I checked Angie's list and found Rain-Go. Tim was very responsive and professional- provided a quote within 1 day and his team came out in less than a week. Steve and Austin were very good at what they did, as well as friendly, on time, and went a little extra by setting up my rain barrel too. Both my husband and I were very impressed w/ the service from Tim and his team. The gutters look great- and have much larger downspouts which should help w/ clogging, etc. Overall, the cost seemed to be very reasonable- though we didn't bother to get a second quote after Tim provided such great service. I would definitely use this company again.

I didn't even call until Monday to have them come out for service. He knew we were in a bind. And he was out to our home quickly. He did a great job I would use them again in the future.

I had him do my rental property first, to see how his work was. His crew shopped up early, and completed the work early, and did an outstanding job. So I had him do my house as well. I needed some repairs to my gutters, and caps to prevent litter accumulation. He recommended that some, but not all, of the gutters be replaced. He showed me where the old gutters had been installed incorrectly, which led to some soffit damage. He gave me an estimate for his work which was totally reasonable. His crew showed up early again, finished early. Even though we hadn't discussed it, his crew repaired and painted some siding damaged by carpenter bees! I would definitely use these guys again, and recommend them to anyone.

The estimate was provided promptly and accurately. The work was done on time and in a very efficient manner. The whole crew appeared to be very good at their jobs. All work was inspected by the manager when finished. The cleanup was very complete. All removed guttering and all other waste from the job was hauled off. I was very happy with the work done and the friendly manner of the owner and the workers.

They are phenomenal, great and I recommend them to anyone. They exceeded my expectations. I am a former contractor and they did the kind of work that is done on million dollar homes. I will use them again in the future.

Tim returns calls and arrives for estimates in a timely manner. His crew was on time, professional, and thorough. They completed the job in the time expected. They cleaned up the property and blew the roof clean. Tim demonstrated the use of the broom and accepted the Angie's List coupon for his services. Tim is a business man who knows his business and how to treat customer's right.

This we a great experience. We had gutters that no longer drained correctly, eventually leading to wood rot on our exterior trim, and having to have our home painted pre-maturely. We had hired handymen in the past, but they never did the job correctly. I found Tim and Rain-Go through Angie's List. I called Tim, and he came by within a day to give us an estimate. His estimate was very reasonable. I saw gutter guards in the back of his truck as well. I asked if he could quote me a price separate for the gutter guards. That also came in lower than I expected. I ended up hiring Tim and Rain-Go to replace our problem gutters and to install gutter guards on all gutters. They showed up on time, the quality of their work was awesome, and Tim was just great to work with. He is very reasonable, and really takes pride in the quality of his work. They went way above and beyond. While installing our Gutter Guards, they noticed that other sections of our homes gutters were not quite in alignment as well. They took the time to fix those as well, to make sure that we had no other issues. That was not expected but very much appreciated. Tim also took time to bring other things to my attention, even though it was not in areas where he did business, but wanted to make sure I knew about anything he felt may need attention. I would definitely hire him again. He is very trustworthy, has great attention to detail, and is reasonable.

Tim stopped by our house for an estimate in mid-October and quickly pointed out problems with the current gutter and downspout system installed by our home builder over 11 years ago. I was ready to get a bigger than expected estimate - but, his price was very reasonable. Tim told me he would be back out to install our gutter protection in 2-3 weeks. Approximately 2.5 weeks later, his crew came out and installed the gutter system...in about 2 hours. The next morning it poured, but our gutters handled the water perfectly. Very good all around experience with this company.

I can not say enough good things about Tim Howell's knowledge, professionalism and quality customer service. Amid a busy schedule, Tim quickly responded to phone calls and questions, worked to accomodate our schedule, made a special trip to deliver color samples to us, helped us with decision-making (upon request) and was present on the job site until completion. He and his crew were reassuring, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. We got only one other (higher) bid because we liked Tim and felt confident he would do a good job for a fair price. Although we have not yet had a big rain to assess the new gutter system, we fell the job was very well done. We would definitely recommend Rain-Go to others. Thanks, Tim !

They said they would show up on a Tuesday at 7:30am. They were early. They worked quietly, efficiently and completed the job by 11:30am. Excellent work. Place the outlets where I wanted them and left the place clean. I paid them exactly what they quoted. Would recommend them to anyone.

The remarkable thing is the ease with which Tim was to do business. I emailed him photos of the work that I wanted done, and he was able to give me a rough estimate from that - saved me the hassle of arranging an estimate visit. I liked that. The work was done on the day scheduled exactly as requested, and he took my payment information over the phone. Was a little bit pricey, but compared to other service providers I have been dealing with lately, it was a good experience to just get the work done as simply as possible.

OUTSTANDING!!! If there was something better than A they would definitly deserve it. Tim Howell came out in August and gave an estimate. He did not try to sale us more than we needed. He suggested larger gutters and explained why he would recommend it. He told us it would be about 3 weeks before he could schedule us if we chose him, we appreciated the honesty and called him the following week to accept his proposal. September 2 he left a message saying he would be out 7:30 Monday morning (Labor Day!!) if that was acceptable. Just before 7:30 Monday morning, there they were in the driveway ready to work. Tim rang the bell and said he just wanted us to know they were out there working. They had everything they needed and worked deligently all morning. ( We were curious so he took time to show us how they formed the seamless gutters.) They cleaned up after themselves and when they had finished the gutters looked wonderful and the only sign they had been here working were the gutters, the shingles, shrubbery, antenna connection and everything was left in excellent conditiion. Tim and the other men working with him were very professional, careful and polite. We went outside when it seemed they were wrapping things up and were extremely pleased at what we saw. The gutters are beautiful, level, and flush to the house. Tim asked us how it looked. He seemed to take pride in the quality of the job they had done. He explained the minimal care we would need to do and provided the extremely long brush to do it. At 12:30ish they were rolling down our driveway leaving very satisfied customers and a job well done!!! If you need any gutters Rain-Go Inc. and Tim Howell is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
