Professional Carpet Systems

The Big Deal was for the carpet and so I had that done. They did fine with that. They didn't leave a mess. They got everything clean. They didn't leave it wet. I also purchased at the same time a deal for a large sectional sofa to be cleaned. The price was reasonable, because of the size of the sofa. Unfortunately they didn't know how to clean its chenille. So it left marks on it. So I would not recommend them cleaning upholstery, because they really didn't know what they were doing. The carpets were fine. I just have regular carpets. But they did not know how to clean chenille. It required special care. UPDATE.... I received a call from Angies List about reviewing companies that I had used. I spoke to the representative, and he wrote the above review based on our conversation. They had done a good job on the carpets, but I was not pleased with the outcome of the sofa. After the review was published, I received a call from Professional Carpet Systems. They were concerned about damaging the sofa and sent me a check for $250 because it was the "right thing to do." I am so impressed by the integrity and professionalism of this company, and I will absolutely use them again. I learned a valuable lesson in the process and will ensure in the future that I clearly communicate if special care that needs to be taken during a service.

Mike S did a great job, was on time, professional and the outcome was great. Also gave me tips about how to care for the carpet.

I wanted the carpets clean since they had acquired an odor after an aquarium leak and several accidents by a dog whose time at a shelter did not provide her with habit to let someone know when she needed to go outside ( a dog door to a a fenced yard have since solved that problem). The two men from PCS were punctual,polite, professional, fast, and efficient. Their equipment was good. The carpets look cleaner. Unfortunately the odor is still present although diminished. I do know enough about this method of carpet cleaning to know if it could be expected to completely remove the odor. We are trying baking soda now.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out very well. They were very thorough and I liked the work they did. They were quick. He was very knowledgeable and gave some excellent advice for stains for in-between cleanings. He did a good job. He took care that the equipment didn't mark up any of the furniture, stairs or walls.

Mike came out to clean our carpets. He did a great job. On time, very personable, and took the time to explain exactly what he was doing. Was done very quickly. I highly recommend the service.

Terry was very helpful in setting up, and then at our request, rescheduling our appointment. On job day Mike called ahead to let us know he was en-route and arrived right on time. We found Mike to be professional, polite, and friendly. Our carpeting is five years old with stains and some ground in dirt typical of a home with young kids and a cat. Mike did a very thorough cleaning including spot removal. The carpeting now looks fabulous, just in time for a tenant who is going to rent the home. We are very pleased with this company, quality of work, and reasonable price. We will certainly use Professional Carpet Systems again and recommend them to our friends!

Mike Stanley did a wonderful job. It had been several years since the carpet had been cleaned. We had a lot of high traffic areas and several spots. We also have dogs so I'm sure there was a lot of dog dander, etc. When Mike was done, the carpet looked like new again. There were some stains which he advised us well in advance of even coming that he would most likely not be able to get out (stain vs. spot), so I was expecting that in a few areas. But the carpet looked and felt brand new other than that. We had Mike come back a few weeks later to do the upstairs. I would not hesitate to use them again!

After reading other reviews on Angie's List, I called Professional Carpet Systems and was able to get an appointment for the next day. My carpets had food and other stains that had been there for a couple weeks. Mike arrived a little before I expected him and explained to me all that he could do and what he might not be able to do. He moved the small pieces of furniture that were in the rooms and that needed to be moved so that he could clean. He was able to complete the job in a reasonable amount of time and did not try to sell me additional services. When I explained that I had other carpets that might need to be cleaned but that I was not prepared at this time to have them cleaned, he agreed that this was fine. He left my home while the carpet was still damp and told me to put the furniture back later in the day. He also advised me that while I could walk on the carpet now, it would be better to wait until later because I had been working in the yard and my shoes might have dirt that would stain the freshly cleaned carpet. I am very pleased with the service I received and the price that I paid; I will probably contact PCS again in the near future to clean carpet in other areas of my home.

Mike was extremely nice and professional. He called prior to the carpet leaning and after the carpets were cleaned to see if we were satisfied after the cleaning. We did a walk through before cleaning and during the cleaning he showed me how to clean stains when they occurred. He showed me again when asked. He spoke to my son about the stains in his room and showed him how he got them up. Mike was quick and thorough. And called back to check on the carpets.

Mike called to schedule the appointment when I purchases the deal. He called the day before the appointment to confirm the date and time. I told him he could come earlier or later than scheduled if he needed to. He called and came 30 minutes early. He was very professional and a real worker. Cleaned the carpet in about an hour and asked me to inspect it before he left. Very polite, very professional, excellent work. Did not try to tack on extra charges. An excellent experience and will use the company again on a regular basis.

Very professional and responsive. Cleaned carpeting in the house and some tile flooring. My wife was very pleased with the service, especially the tile flooring in the bathrooms, as the grout had gotten very stained and dirty over the years.

Excellent. Showed up on time. We walked the areas that were to be cleaned and discussed the spots that needed treatment. I knew when I called that some of the soiled spots could not be removed. I wanted them treated so I would know they were clean. The technician let me know what to expect with the stains, which ones he knew he could get up and the ones that probably would not come up. He was right. Once they dried the carpets looked great and smelled great. The owner, I believe his name is Tony?, stopped by and when I asked, recommended a person for a future job that I would need. I will definitely use them next year when I want my carpets done again.

Great! Mike Stanley from the Raleigh, NC location came to the house. He walked through each room and looked closely at each carpet. I had a stain on an area rug and he wasn't sure it would come out. He called the owner and asked that he come to the house and look at the stain. The owner came and looked at it before Mike moved forward. Both men were honest in telling me that they could not guarantee the stain would be removed. Mike did a great job on all of the rooms. I would hire him again and refer him to others.

FANTISK !!! Mike Stanley is a true professional. Very personable and all work with the attitude of Larry the cable guy - "Get Er Done!" I can't believe how fast he got done. As a favor to an old Army buddy, I rented a bedroom to his college freshman son this past year and he basically trashed my home. I worked till 11PM so he had the house to himself and he managed to spill lemonade and who knows what else on the wheat color carpet which made dark brown/black spots, splotches and dribbles all over the house. Mike got every bit of it out. My boarder even opened the drain valve on my deep fat fryer (which sits at the end of the kitchen counter next to the dining area) allowing approximately a quart of vegetable oil to run over the counter and down onto the kitchen (tight level loop) and dining room (cut pile plush) carpet. He had also "spilled" mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise and who knows what else all over the kitchen carpet. Again, Mike got every bit of it out. The only time my carpet has looked as good as it does now was within the first month after it was installed years ago. Professional Carpet Systems (and Mike Stanley) were a God Send. I was expecting to be told that a lot of the stains would not come out. WRONG! Mike got them all. The fact that I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this work was a great help as I am now retired and on a fixed income. If you need your carpet cleaned, you would be making a big mistake not calling Professional Carpet Systems.

I called them after I bought the Deal. We ended up selling our home before using the Deal so we didn't need it. They were pleasant and professional and directed us to Angie's List to get a refund.

These guys did a fabulous job on our short sale home. Terry was very personable. Our hardwoods looked the best. The carpets, and not their fault at all, didn't come as clean as I had hoped. What can I expect though, it was a pre-foreclosure home. The carpets look 150% better though after the guys came in. Thank you so much.

They were very professional, knew their business well, and it all looks very good. He explained everything very well, and was friendly. They did a great job.

It was great. They were very responsive to my scheduling needs. Did a good job cleaning carpet (my carpet is in pretty bad shape so every stain couldn't be removed). Cleaning went quickly with two men doing the work. I'm very happy with the results.

Very professional and quick. Treated my furniture with care. Also turned on all the fans in the various rooms to speed up drying process. Also advised me to turn the A/C down temporarily so the humidity would not hinder the drying process. Very satisfied.
