Because I already knew what I wanted the sales person immediately presented me with the products and I purchased them. The person in the factory area was very friendly and promptly helped me load the products into the back of my car. I checked with Consumer Reports company and the Original Mattress Factory was recommended. Because of their recommendation I was very satisfied with my purchase.

Needed new mattress for antique double bed that sits high off the floor. Wanted a slim profile so guests did not need a step stool to get onto the bed. Original Mattress Factory was the only dealer I found that was able and willing to work with me to come up with the combination of a bunk board and slimmer style, but comfortable, mattress that gave me what I wanted. Very happy with the result. Price was reasonable though they were not willing to bargain.

We were looking for a king size set for our bedroom. The saleman was also the manager and spent time with us, answered all our questions, told us he had started in the factory making mattresses and had risen to manager, and helped us through the process of buying a mattress. We had gone there because Consumer Reports rated them very highly. We were not disappointed. We learned a great deal and were very happy with our king set. So happy, in fact, that we also bought the headboard and footboard there. We love our bed. Other stores that we went to had sincere staff but the prices were much higher. If you are looking for a name brand, you may not find it at Original Mattress factory, but you will be satisfied with the quality you get for the price.

The mattress is very uncomfortable, hard and lumpy but they won’t take it back. I called the company they stated they could only exchange the mattress at a substantial fee but I could not return it. I was pleased with everything but the product.

The mattress was delivered promptly and professionally. We also ordered 2 king pillow and were given 2 queens by mistake. We exchanged the pillows without any problems at all. Good experience.

I bought the mattresses about 4:30 pm on May 30, 2009 from the Original Mattress factory store in Apex, NC and carried them home in my car. I had planned on using them on twin size platform storage beds that I had bought from Big Lot's a few hours earlier. After assembling the beds that night, I found out that the mattresses were way too small for the bed both in length and width. The platform was 40 by 75 inches, whereas the mattresses were only 37.5 by 73.5 inches. I was expecting them to be approximately 39 by 75 inches. Because they were so small, they slid around on the platform. The next day I called the Apex store and told them that I would like to return the still wrapped and unused mattresses to the store because they were too small for the bed. Mr.Murphy, the salesman who had sold me the mattresses, told me that The Original Mattresses Factory considered any mattress held over night to be a used mattress and therefore not returnable, regardless of whether it was used or not. He said that this was in the warranty that he had given me when I bought the mattresses. However, he had not discussed any of the warranty terms with me when I was buying the mattresses, even though he was aware of how I planned to use them. When I pointed this out, he said I was responsible for reading the warranty and even if the mattresses had not been slept on or unwrapped, The Original Mattress Factory never made an exception to their "no returns" policy. I then pointed out to him that the mattresses were only 37.5 by 73.5 inches when they should have been 39 by 75 inches. He responded by telling me that the recommended dimensions for a twin size mattress were 38 by 75 inches and that the dimensions of my mattresses were within acceptable manufacturing tolerances.

Everything went extremely well. Delivery was within the agreed upon time and everyone we dealt with was very helpful and polite.

The overall experience with this company was very good. They even cut the mattress to show you the materials. They show you how they are made also. It was a really good experience. We got a great price. They even let you try every single mattress you would like to try.
