Organized by Doris is owned and operated by Doris Marsh. We help you learn to use our systems for organizing your home and/or business office. We also apply similar systems to residential organizing. We do not make you get rid of anything. Our job is to help you decide what to keep and what to donate, give away or dispose of.

Doris first sought to understand me AND my needs. After a discussion we arranged a time for her to review. She came and looked at the areas and we put together a plan of attack. I appreciated how she didn't judge or dwell on anything but cost effective solutions. Doris came several times and gave me assignments to complete. She even would text me to give support. I will use her service again without a doubt. She is a "get it done" organizer with great ideas.
Description of Work: I had years of clutter stored and stuffed in multiple places. Very disorganized to the point it wasn't easy to access.

Doris was very patient and non-judgmental about my space. She motivated me to go through items methodically and make decisions quickly. Within three hours we went through more boxes together than I had done on my own in several years. Now I can actually use my space as it was intended!

As a very busy executive, I was I need of a personal assistant with high level skills to assist me in managing my home, running errands, organizing pet veterinarian care, meeting with contractors and managing my personal affairs. In one day Doris hired a plumber, a power washer, grocery shopped, took my pet to the veterinarian, cleaned my home office and managed the home delivery and exchange of my mattress. She also managed having flowers delivered and pictures hung! Doris has exceptional executive assistant and management skills. Her background is supporting high level VP?s in the corporate world, so she is very accustomed to a busy, demanding schedule while managing multiple tasks. She is competent, easy to work with, a critical thinker, timely, intelligent, trustworthy and has excellent follow though skills! I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to find Doris. I highly recommend Doris and will continue to work with her!

Doris did a fantastic job of helping me organize my home office and some other areas around my house! Her many years of administrative experience were evident in her very helpful ideas for streamlining my office and making my work there much more efficient. After just a few days, I am already enjoying the freedom and ease that comes from utilizing Doris?s ideas and now feel confident I can also maintain it. I also appreciate her positive, energetic, and friendly personality. Doris will work with you right where you are without any judgment. I highly recommend her!

We had been looking for an organizer for quite a while. We have a little unique situation in which neither my wife or I are really able to move around any heavy boxes so we wanted to get a provider that would take care of everything without too much help or intervention from us. I had worked with organizers in the past that essentially came out and told you what to do and then you basically did all of the moving and organizing and that was NOT what we wanted. We didn't have a problem paying for it, but we didn't want to move everything. I discussed this with Doris and she absolutely understood and in the end delivered exactly what we needed. I communicated with Doris several times by email to discuss specifics. We have a pretty hectic schedule as most of us do these days and I do a lot of business travel so it is sometimes hard to nail dates down. Doris was incredibly professional and was very accommodating with our limited availability. One of the items that struck me up front with Doris was her true desire to help us get the most out of her time on site. In some instances in the past, we spent a lot of time with organizers just talking about what we needed so there was one or two hours of billable time wasted once they got here. This was not the case with Doris. She took the time to understand what we were looking for, was incredibly flexible in the services we needed, had a plan in place so she could hit the ground running and showed up with all of the tools and supplies she needed. She arrived right on time and as I mentioned above got to work immediately. Her eye for what needed to be done allowed me to concentrate on other things and it was only specific questions that we had to answer. This was a big deal for us, because we didn't want to have to follow the service provider around all day. With Doris, she asked very few questions and got the job done in record time. We had a lot of boxes of Christmas Decorations that had to go up several flights of stairs. Doris took it in stride and never once complained about the situation. I hate that we have an attic that is on the third floor, but it is what it is if you know and we have seen the rolled eyes and huffs of consternation from contractors in the past that really makes the situation unpleasant. Doris was completely pleasant the entire time and really worked with the house as if it were her own. That personal touch really makes a difference to us and made us feel confident in her commitment to taking care of our home and belongings. Her work without question is outstanding. Not only was she able to get rid of the Christmas clutter, but was able to reorganize our kitchen for greater functionality and flow. She even asked for a vacuum to go through our family room. That has never happened with an organizer we have used in the past. She just wanted everything to be perfect and we truly appreciated that. By the time she was finished the downstairs looked great and all the stress of the clutter was gone. Her pricing was amazing and well worth it. From a value perspective and as a comparison, we have paid over twice as much for similar services in the past and were not nearly as pleased. She even gave us an amazing suggestion on a litter box robot for our kitties. If you have cats, you have to ask her. We got one and it is amazing. It is things like these above and beyond touches which made our time with Doris so positive. When someone comes into your home and personal space, to feel like they are treating it like their home and to watch them put care into packing and moving your belongings makes all the difference in the world. We are looking forward to using Doris again on several other projects and highly recommend her for any home organization needs you may have. She is a consummate professional and it was truly a pleasure to work with her.
