Response from OLDE TYME PAINTING
All I can say is wow. This report is false from every aspect. To start with, the homeowner wanted to keep the dollar amount to under $1100.00. With materials it came to $1183.00, not $1800.00. Second, as far as the unpainted shelves, the bid was to only fix the shelving that was damaged by an aquarium. which was done. In order to paint all the bookcases and mantel it would have been an additional $250.00, which he didn't want to spend. I did numerous drywall repair, including nail pops and over 200 holes from children and adult poster and picture hangings. If any was missed I certainly would have came back to fix them, free of charge but was never notified of anything. I also want to note that the house was full of trash, water bottles, food, wrappers etc. the whole house looked like it hadn't been clean in a year or more. We made sure to put all furniture back in it's original space after we swept and discarded any trash. I never had such a negative response to any of my work in the 37 years that I have been doing this. I just wish that if there was a problem that I could have had a chance to right any so called wrongs. d
