So we in the past for the landscaping services have really liked them. We have had a couple of issues, but for the most part they were excellent. We absolutely love our patio and retaining wall, and recommend them for that service. However, we have received mulch from them when we needed multiple yards (like 10 yds) of mulch delivered. We chose the triple shredded hardwood mulch. The problem is all 3 times that we have gotten this mulch from them, we have ended up with Scale in our Euonymus bushes and several of them completely died because of it. We will never use them again for mulch.

Their price was more competitive than other companies. They did a great job on the soil prep ahead of laying the sod. They were very timelyand worked around the rain. They were very accommodating.

I ordered 20 cubic yards of Triple Shredded Mulch from Norwood Road Garden Center on May 13, 2014. I spoke to an employee named Amy, who took my order over the phone and told me delivery would be made on May 15th. When placing the order, I asked Amy to please make sure the delivery driver did not drive in my grass...because last year when I ordered mulch from Norwood Road Garden, the driver ran off the driveway and tore up my yard. I told Amy that I have a large driveway and that the driver could take up as much room as needed, but to please stay off the grass. On May 15th, the mulch was delivered and to my disappointment, the driver once again made a mess of my yard. There were two muddy tire marks (it had rained a lot on the day of delivery), one about 6 feet long left in the grass. I called Norwood Garden this same afternoon and spoke to an employee named Aaron. Aaron told me he would have to have someone call me back that was more qualified to handle the situation. On May 16th, after not receiving a call back within 24 hours, I decided to drive up to Norwood Garden to show them pictures of my lawn. I spoke with Jim Roberts, the owner, and he told me that his driver acknowledged driving in my yard. Mr. Roberts said that the driver did this because he could not see very well out of his side mirror. Mr. Roberts gave me a roll of sod and some soil for me to fix my yard. So not only did I have 20 cu. yards of mulch to spread, I had to patch up my yard thanks to the carelessness of the delivery driver. I will not be doing anymore business with Norwood Garden.

Needed a number of plants and landscaping supplies for a DYI project at home. Pretty good selection of everything we needed, but some choices were a little thin. Plants were generally healthy and well-kept with some small exception here and there. No problem with getting help from the staff. They were friendly and made themselves available as needed. Price points were quite competitive. Not the biggest and best choice for landscaping in this particular area, but if you can find what you need here the value is good. Good selection of landscaping mulch and stonework.

Asked for a quote / landscape design. The guy came out, took measurements, told me he could do the job for far less than the $10k I had allotted. Promised to get plans and a quote over to me within the week. Also made arrangements to have mulching done in the interim. Mulch day came and they were a no-show. Called. Got some lame excuse. Told them no problem, they could do the mulching when they started the bigger job. Guy says great. Never hear from them again. Terrible service.

They are extremely professional and have a lot of experience. They give you really good ideas. They have a very good group of individuals working for them and the work looks great. I would absolutely use again and would recommend him to anybody.

SHOP AROUND AND GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE. THE GUY ON THE PHONE TOLD ME THAT THEY'D BRING A SMALL PICKUP LOAD SO THEY COULD DRIVE IT INTO THE BACK YARD, BUT THEY BROUGHT A HUGE DUMP TRUCK AND DUMPED IT IN FRONT OF MY GARAGE!
