+ -1 moreI can’t say enough good things about Nicolas. He provides superior craftsmanship with outstanding professionalism. I am a repeat customer. Seven years ago he completed a driveway regrading and installed a brick walkway. When my front walkway and two sets of brick stairs needed a complete overhaul I was thrilled to discover he was still around and working in the Raleigh area. The work was completed promptly and looks amazing. I would strongly recommend him without hesitation.
Description of Work: Overhauled brick walkway and stairs. First, the entire area was power washed. Joints between bricks on the perimeter of the walkway were cleaned out with a radial saw then each joint was repointed. The brick walkway field was removed, roots cuts away, bricks relaid, then floating mortar was swept into the joints between bricks. Looks like new. Should last another 10 years.

+ -1 moreI’ve worked with Nicolas before, as always he and his crew did great work. He improved on my ideas to fix drainage issues on the side of my house. The crew came out on the hottest day of the year and created an open rock drain and attached a downspout to it. Replaced mulch in a planter bed with stone to keep it from washing away. Happy with the visual results, just need some rain to test it out. Highly recommend!

He is a good communicator, ensured he understood exactly what our vision for the wall was and had meetings with us during construction to make sure we were all on track. I have recommended them to two of my neighbors who they have worked for and they have both been extremely pleased with not only the quality of work, but, the expediency of which it was done and the cleanup leaving the house looking great after they left. The best landscaper I have ever dealt with and highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Nicholas built a porch on one home, landscaped the home did drainage on that home built a brick wall surrounding a flower bed on a second home built another porch on the second home and drainage repair there as well. For my neighbor, he has rebuilt his pool patio, and put drainage in, and built my other neighbor, an outdoor grilling area, which turned out beautiful

We had a vision of what we wanted and he was able to make it happen. The crew was there bright and early and cleaned up every day before they left. Description of Work: I considered ours a small job and we were having trouble finding a contractor to do the work. We needed a curved stairway replaced in our yard. 9 steps following the curve of our plantings. The solution involved creating a base of stone/stone dust then using nine 3 x 2 foot natural stones filled in with pavers where necessary, providing very stable walking area that curved as requested. A landing area was provided, making it safe and comfortable for us to use. Also using available brick pavers they provided a pad for our trash/recycle bins. Much nicer than the previous dirt pad. The remaining spoils from the excavation were used to fill in and level our dirt driveway. Work area was seeded and straw spread to help with erosion and replacement of grass. They were well equipped for the job at hand including a small back hoe and skid steer with numerous hand tools. I expect the results of this project to last many years!

Nicholas reviewed the situation and recommended to remove a drain that was too small for that area and cement that area so water would flow to a bigger drain nearby. Has worked as intended for the past 12 months.
