Description of Work: We had to have our 2 month old new paver patio torn up, removed and completely re-done with new pavers because the first person we hired did such a horrible job. I was told to go on Angie's list to find someone. I read the reviews from Nicolas's Hardscape and Drainage. Nicolas had excellent reviews. The pictures of his work said it all...excellent! I contacted Nicolas. He returned my call immediately, was professional, and prompt. Everything he did from bringing in the materials to cleaning up at the end of the job was done in a neat and very precise manner. If he says he'll be there at 6:30 am you can count on it. He is a man of his word. The work he did looks spectacular. His work is precise, he is very detail oriented and very much knows what he's doing. Only pictures can describe how grand of a job he did. He does a turn key job. I can't begin to tell you how satisified we are with his work. He has a great crew that works with him and they too are just as professional as Nicolas. Talk about perfection...he will do as perfect of a job as can be done. My suggestion, if you want the job done right 'the first time' call Nicolas. When he walks away he's done way more than just a paver patio and sidewalk. He has transformed our yard/patio into a piece of artwork. We cannot be any more pleased with the price, the work, the materials and the design.

Description of Work: Nicolas and his crew installed a 12' x 15' patio with a 1' high wall on 3 sides (due to the grade of our property). It's beautiful and we LOVE it! Nicolas was punctual and communicated well with me at all times. He gave me a quote and stuck to it. He and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently over 2 days, and cleaned up prior to leaving. They left our property in great shape and I can't say enough wonderful things about Nicolas and his crew. We only wish we had more yard from him to turn into a paradise for us! Will definitely use him again if we have the opportunity! Do yourself a favor and hire him!

Description of Work: Nicolas and his team (1) removed/reinstalled a brick sidewalk leading to our house and (2) installed two drainage collection drains and piping to move the water to the back of our property. Our prior walkway was flooding and 2 to 3 inches deep in water every time it rained. Nicolas and team removed the old walkway, raised up the walkway foundation and using the old brick plus some new that they were able to find to match, built us a beautiful new, much more functional walkway that no longer floods! The new drainage solution works extremely well and we are no longer have a small river flowing across our yard each time it rains. Nicolas listened carefully to our concerns and worked with me to come up with a solution that met our needs. He and his crew were on time each day and worked steadily until the project was completed. And the post job cleanup was amazing; our yard and driveway to which the sidewalk interfaces looked better after they left than when they arrived and the craftsmanship on the sidewalk is exceptional!

This man knows what he is doing and obviously takes pride in his work. | |On the day of the job, Nicolas and his crew arrived at about 7:00 AM. The men worked very hard and completed the job by early afternoon as Nicolas had indicated in advance. The patio looks beautiful and has dramatically improved my backyard. | |Based on my experience, I would use Nicolas' Hardscape again and have recommended Nicolas to my friends and colleagues.

Description of Work: On Friday I bought the Big Deal from this company. I called them the first day and they called back. I explained that I wanted a patio built asap because I was expecting company the middle of April. Nicholas came over on Saturday and he made suggestions and provided samples of pavers and by Monday we had decided on the materials and by Tuesday the patio was finished. He and his team worked very hard and very carefully. Their work is impeccable. I decided on a patio a bit larger than the Big Deal but they offered it at the same rate as the Big Deal. There were pavers left over and Nicholas made a short walk of pavers and no extra charge. Thank you Nicholas, Logan, Simon and Andy. Everything was left in pristene condition. I couldn't be happier. And I have another project or two that I will use them for when my budget permits. You can't go wrong with this company.

Description of Work: Nicolas' was hired to do one retaining wall, and another large retaining wall (circular) which we will use as a flower bed. The flower bed wall needed to be cleared of old bushes and shrubs.

Description of Work: I had 3 retaining walls that were made of old rock which were approximately 40 years old. They were crumbling and falling down, causing erosion issues. I contacted Nicholas for an estimate. I found his estimates very competitive, and we would up selecting him for the job. Once Nicolas arrived, we discussed other jobs, such as new steps (they were falling apart too), and replacing a cracked walkway with pavers. We decided to do 3 retaining walls, Steps and a paver walk way.

Description of Work: We contracted with Mr. Nicolas to double the size of a stone patio, install a new mailbox, lengthen a sidewalk and re-secure loosened bricks and pavers in the existing sidewalk.
