Very smooth

I am still thinking that I may use them in the future but I haven't decided. I wasn't in there more than 15 minutes but they were very professional and the quote was pretty good. They had a nice selection. I liked the variety of granite slabs they had and the price. They advertise pretty heavily in the paper. They didn't call me after the fact but I didn't ask them to. They were responsive in the store and answered my questions.

Their work was great. They broke the back-splash, but they rushed to fix it for me, so it wasn't a problem.

Price was good. Promised turnaround time was what I needed, and they delivered as promised. Quality of work was very good. One small problem with positioning of sink to allow faucet installation was very quickly resolved with a second visit.

Their price is excellent but you would have to stay and watch to make sure that they do what they are supposed to. They showed up on time and they did the work in the amount of time that they estimated, but they didn’t tell me that I had to buy the hardware for the cabinets. They didn’t provide the plumber or the electrician, they are strictly cabinets and countertops. The phone jack is too high to put a phone at so I have to hire someone to move it. You just have to watch them; you get what you pay for.

Overall, it went very well. They came on time, did the installation and a lot of cleanup (I later found debris in the drawers and cabinets underneath and it went smoothly. Later I noticed that the slabs on either side of one seam were uneven and they had to come back out remove and redo. But they were prompt about coming back to do that. Later I called them again when a big gap developed between the end of the breakfast bar and the wall. I was concerned the granite didn't have enough support, but it turns out the wall was pulling away. So while it wasn't their fault, they still pulled up the breakfast bar slab, readjusted and reseamed it, which I appreciated.

The crew called the day before to let me know that they would arrive later in the day than previously arranged. On the day of the work, they showed up at the new time and got to work immediately. Their work was fast, efficient, neat and clean within the boundaries of the type of work being done. They stayed very late in order to finish within the one day planned, since the start was delayed. I don't think the workers spoke much English (were from China), both the owner and the team lead were fluent and easy to understand. The price was very reasonable, much cheaper than Home Depot and other of the chains or larger stores. Although the granite selection was much more limited, it included what I consider the more attractive colors and styles, and ranged from black to almost white. The store has a showroom.
