Based on our experience, I highly recommend Mr. Appliance, they did their job extremely well, and the price was about what I expected based on other reports

The oven needed a new piece of electronics. The repairman came back with the part and replaced it.

My Bosch dishwasher stopped working the Saturday before Christmas. Called after 3pm on Saturday and had an appointment set for 8am Christmas Eve morning. Mr. Patel was on time and very professional. He fixed the dishwasher in less than 15 minutes.

First I reviewed service providers on Angie's list. I picked Mr. Appliance because they list Saturday hours and it was Friday when I called so I was hoping for quick service. I called Friday afternoon and my call was immediately returned and the provider suggested a time on Saturday, which was good!. Let me readily admit that I failed to ask the necessary questions about the cost of the service call. But I had seen references to it in the other reviews on Angie's list and felt what I saw was very fair. Mr. Patel arrived within the time span stated, and found what he determined to be the problem - and it was customer error - and I have to laugh about it now. Apparently we had picked up a particular brand of what we thought was the dishwasher gelpacs at the grocery store - only to have Mr. Patel advise that we had apparently picked up washing machine gelpacs (we use liquid washing machine detergent ourselves so did not even realize there were gelpacs for washing machines). Mr. Patel ran cold water from our sink sprayer into the dishwasher to remove the excess soap buildup. No parts were needed and he was in and out within 30 minutes. So I was very surprised at the bill amount. There is no breakdown on the bill for service call and work performed - just a total. Mr. Patel was very businesslike and since the problem was "operator error", I certainly cannot complain about the service - I just think the price was somewhat high for a 30 minute service call that required no parts. As far as whether I would use the company again - probably - but I would definitely nail down the cost beforehand if I did! I did not want to rate the company a B because we were very satisfied with everything but the price - so actuallyI would say A -.

He was able to come the day we called. He had the part in his truck so we were very pleased that he could fix our refrigerator on the spot.

Mr. Appliance was excellent. He was scheduled to come to my home on a Wednesday but was in the area on Tuesday and called to see if we could meet sooner. We were able to and he arrived shortly after and started to work right away. He tried a few things and determined the problems and outlined what it would take to fix both. We decided that it was more financially sound to buy new appliances (the fridge is rather old and the microwave is now known to have major repair issues). He gave us another idea to test the microwave on our own (he did not have the right fuse with him) but we tried it the next day and it didn't help. For $65 it was worth us finding out it was better to avoid wasting more money on repairs.

M. Patel was puctual, professional and did an excellent job of showing me what was wrong and correcting the issue. We contacted him at 10:30 AM on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and he showed up as promised at 1:00pm. We will use him again.

Diagnosed problem on Tusday, ordered the part and installed it on Saturday. All receipts sent via e-mail for the file.

Working with Mr. Appliance was painless. I would call again and recommend highly.

Called early and Mr. Appliance arrived within 2.5 hours of the same day. He is neatly dressed, uniformed and drives a nicely painted, professional van. He is courteous, professional, and goes straight to business. He immediately diagnosed the problem with the washer, whipped out his iPad and ordered the part, returning before noon the next day to install it. I casually asked him to give me an estimate on the malfunctioning ice dispenser. He had the part in his truck and gave me a quote on the spot. After replacing it, he noticed the ice bin had a huge block of ice that had melted and frozen. He removed the bin (not easy), and patiently melted the ice. The dispenser now works perfectly. I rated the "Price" category as an A. I really have no basis for comparison, so he certainly deserves the benefit of the doubt. You could not ask for more rapid or effective service. Use him.

Phone line direct to Ashok (owner's) cell phone. He got me on the schedule same day and arrived on time as planned. The repair was VERY simple (bad connection of wires under dishwasher) and took 5 minutes to troubleshoot and repair. Also had him assist with a crooked microwave door. I would say that the fee for onsite diagnosis and any sort of repair starts at $114 which is obviusly high for what I had done. However, for same day response and everything fixed, probably not bad. Ashok did give me some sort of "multi-product" discount to $99 and when I mentioned that was high and I was from Angie's list, I ended up paying about $85. In general, any onsite service be it a plumber or electrician probably runs the same, I am curious if it took more time to fix how much it would have cost. May be good to get an estimatebase fee up front but in my mind same day service is worth paying for.

Called Mr. Appliance as suggested. Mr. Patel (AKA "Mr. Appliance') answered immediately and he was actually at my house in < 1 hour! Didn't have the part, but said he would check the warehouse and call me back. Next day, called to say he had the part, was over in 1/2 hr, another 30 minutes to fix the washer and he was done! Fantasic!

Their technicians are very prompt and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they provide us with all of our options, whether it be repair or replacement.

My dryer, purchased in 1996, would not run. The serviceman from Mr. Appliance came out and was quickly able to tell me that the motor had seized up and that it would cost too much to consider repairing it vs. the cost for a new machine. I was very pleased with the quick response to my problem and the profesionalism of the service person. Also the price with a $10.00 off coupon, because of our membership in Angie's List, was very resonable. My daughter just had paid $80.00 to another company for the same type of service.

I am very displeased with the service I received from Mr. Appliance. I called Mr. Patel because I had a leak from my Bosch dishwasher. He came out. Said the hose was bad and he would have to get me a new hose because he didn't have one. Said he would call me Monday. Came at 4:45 on Monday, and it took him 1 1/2 hours to replace the hose. But my silent Bosch was now extremely noisy when he tested it for me. He said it's fixed, the total is $200. I told him I was dissatisfied because my dishwasher was almost silent before ( I bought this model specifically for this reason) and now it is incredibly loud. Way louder than any really old dishwasher I've every heard before. he said that all he did was replace the hose, he didn't make it noisy. Unfortunately, since he is not an authorized Bosch dealer, I will have to call another repairman that is authorized, so I can figure out what he did to make my dishwasher so noisy. Extremely dissatisfied. Do not use this repairman. Yes, he is courteous, but that doesn't make up for his lack in skill.

He came when he said he would and was very professional and courteous.

We have a Kenmore Elite french-door refrigerator that was losing its ability to cool. We called Sears and they couldn't get someone out for FOUR DAYS. I looked on Angie's List, found Mr. Appliance, called him, and he was at our house in less than TWO HOURS! He inspected the fridge, found the problem, put in a temporary fix (so we wouldn't have to throw away all our food) and ordered the part (the control board had gone bad). He picked up the part the next day and installed it. All this was done before Sears would have even GOTTEN there. Thanks, Mr. Appliance!!

The technician that came out from Mr. Appliance of Wake Company seemed to be more interested in talking than working. He charged us a huge amount of money. I could buy a couple of microwaves for $600 that he charged us. The microwave he fixed didn’t work for too long either. It went out a week after our warranty expired. He never seemed to have what he needed when he came to fix it. It took him several weeks of coming back and forth to our house when he finally fixed it. It was just an aggravating experience. We would not use this company again in the future.

I called today to make an appointment and Mr. Patel told me that he could be out in 45 mins. I could not believe it. He arrived promptly and assesed the job and completed it in about 1.5 to 2 hours. He was very professional.

They were very professional and I would use them again.

My dishwasher started making a very loud growling noise, Mr Patel found that a piece from the rack had broken off and fallen into the pump, this could have been a disaster. The problem was diagnosed and fixed very quickly, excelent job!!!

Our refrigerator slowly lost the ability to keep food cold in the refrigerator space. I called Mr. Patel who was able to make an appointment the following day. He arrived on time and quickly determined what the problem was. The defrost control had failed which allowed the coil to frost up. Mr. Patel had a replacement control with him. He replaced the part and defrosted the coil in less than one hour. The refrigerator was cold again by the end of the day. He was prompt, knowledgable, and the price seemed fair. I would call him again and highly recommend his work.
