Description of Work: They claim the service call fee will be absorbed into the repair price if you have the repairs made. This is a false claim. They do some tricky bookwork to make it look like you are getting credit for the service call, but it is not true. In addition, they took my money for parts, and they did not return with the parts to repair my washer.

Description of Work: Super Nice Guy. Gave good advise on buying a new stove versus him benefiting from all the parts and labor. Would call next time.

Description of Work: My side by side refrigerator wasn't working. It was barely cooling and the freezer wasn't cooling at all. The defrost heater wasn't working. Ashok Patel repaired my refrigerator with 1-2 days of me calling him.

Description of Work: I called them because of a recommendation from DK Appliance, who does not work on my brand of microwave. The service fee just to come out was $75, and did not include any repair time, or diagnostic time. For a three year old microwave that works fine, except for the cooktop light won't turn off, it seemed excessive - since new microwaves begin at around $100.00. I understand it's time consuming to come to a home to work on an appliance, but after reading other reviews, I figured it was not worth it to me to pay for a trip charge, and probably still have to wait, order parts, and pay more!

Description of Work: I called Mr. Appliance after another company I found on Angie's list with good review had not fixed my dryer after 5 weeks. Mr. Patel came out found the problem and fixed it within one day. I felt $150.00 was extremely expensive to fixed a bad plug. Charged me twice once for coming out and the other to fix the plug. The part was only like 16.00. If it wasn't for the price he would of received all A's.

Description of Work: There was a problem with my Bosch dryer. A bearing seized, causing the drum to stop turning which burned out the belt. The repair man came the same day I called. He quickly diagnosed the problem. A new belt needed to be ordered. This was promptly done. The part was installed as soon as it came in. The bearing was greased and the dryer was tested to make sure that it ran properly. My only irritation was that the first time he came out, Mr Appliance continued to take calls form other people. I consider this minor and would definately use Mr Appliance again should the need arise.
