They are fantastic. They were quick, clean and good guys. They have a lot of good reviews. He was able to be there that Sunday.

The company was very prompt in their reply that they would be unable to schedule our move in the week requested because they already had an out-of-state move scheduled.

Although Tom wasn?t able to come up with a solution for these complex moves, I will call him when other moves are required. He is wonderful, patient and really tries to some up with a reasonably affordable move option. To have spent that much time with me on the phone trying and going over so many options when no business was promised is indeed a wonderful recommendation I believe. Personal service just can?t be beat.

This was our second move in two years with Movers Not Shakers and it was a stress free experience again! Vincent and crew arrived on time and were professional, careful, and friendly. Could not ask for a better moving experience.

Everything was great. The people were responsive and courteous. They had a flexible schedule and they did their best.

I hired Movers Not Shakers to help move myself and my fiance on the 16th of June. I made the appointment a good 3 weeks before that date. I asked if they would be available to work that day and I was told that yes they could but I would be the second move of the day and they wouldn't be over until 3 PM. That was fine with me so we waited for the date to move. On the 16th they called me around afternoon time and said they may be a little late because they were having a hard time with their first move of the day. They said they could be to my apartment by 5 o'clock instead of 3. I should have just rescheduled the move for the next day but they said they would be there to do the job and i trusted their word. About 4 o'clock we talked again and they changed the time to 5:30 then again to 6:00 about an hour later. Then they told me they still needed to be paid by their first customer and they were waiting for payment. It turns out they took a cash only customer and did without being paid for it up front and i was left waiting on them all day. While they were waiting for payment they asked me everything i had to move again and i made it very clear a rough estimate of around 30 boxes, 3 couches, an elliptical machine, a filing cabinet, and a bedroom set. They finally got to my house at 6:30, 3 and 1/2 hours after our original agreement. i helped them back the moving truck down our steep driveway and then i showed them around the apartment. After they looked at the things we had to move they said it would be very late before they would be done making it clear it would be around 1 o'clock in the morning. The level of professionalism, time management, and customer service exhibited by this company left much to be desired. They didnt offer anything except an apology and an offer to do the job the next day. I would say hire Mover not Shakers at your own risk. Updated Comment: It is interesting that the business owner was apologetic and accepted responsibility for the above situation in person when we expressed our dissatisfaction, and withdrew his apology on the internet, only to resort to calling us rude and selfish. We did tell him in person that he could expect a negative review since we do not believe in leaving such reviews about people/companies without first discussing it with the company. I only add that after being put in this position, we rented a truck and moved our remaining property by ourselves in three hours the next day.

They were punctual, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We are so happy with their service that we are planning to use them again when we move again in September to more permanent housing. Tom has also successfully moved my mother-in-law twice so we are very happy repeat customers. They are highly recommended!

They arrived on time as promised. Took good care of furniture items in packing. Delivered promptly. Their price was about one third less than other companies quoted. Would definitely use them again;
