Mobile Mower Techs

Fist tech showed up and after diagnostic testing stated that I needed to replace the parts delivering electricity to the spark plugs. As I had done some basic repair initially, he felt I could install the parts on my own and complete the repair. He even gave me the part number to order (2 of the same part). The $120 worth of parts came in and they did not fix the issue. A second tech came out and dug a little deeper to find that the timing key had sheared in half. He gave me the part number and this $6 part fixed the issue. Both techs were within the time window and super nice. It was nice that the second diagnostic visit was still covered by my initial service call so I only paid for the initial service call. However, I paid $120 for parts I did not need that I may or may not have been able to return but I did not try. I would use these folks again, they are super convenient and everyone I interacted with, personally, by email, or by phone/text was nice. However, in the future, depending on the cost of the parts they say I need, I may request that they perform the work so that I am not buying parts that may or may not fix the issue. If I was not mechanically inclined I would not have had an issue, other than it taking a couple of visits and a little longer to fix.

Long wait time for part, but quality work and professional service.

The mechanic came out and performed the job... was on time and quick- gave a great explanation of the problem and what needed to be done and any future problems to expect. After using it for an hour the edger died on me. Contacted them again and they made another trip (free of charge) to inspect it. They followed up after the visit explaining what was wrong and what my options were and they were very honest about what to do and did not try to milk more out of me for a dying machine. Great service- very honest- extremely professional--- HIGHLY recommend

From my previous feedback, it took a long, long time for this company to get in touch with me. Then when I received a call and made an appointment, the guy never showed up -- said he did not write the appointment down. We made an appointment for the following week, and he did show. Said I needed a new carburetor and that he would send me an estimate. That was weeks ago and no estimate.

Services performed well and young man did a great job. Would use company again. Having him come to my house was very convenient.

Tim, the owner of Mobile Lawnmower Medic (Note: Name is changing to Mobile Mower Techs) arrived right after 8 AM for an 8-12 service window and fixed the issue in less than 45 minutes. Very courteous and professional. Took the time to explain what the issue was so I understood why I was experiencing the problem. Pricing may seem high to some however I felt it was fair and reasonable because this is a mobile repair service; you are going to pay for that convenience. For someone like myself who doesn't have a truck to take my mower to a shop, have it sit there for up to two weeks possibly as I was told when I initially started calling around, the cost of this service didn't outweigh the benefit. Highly recommend using this company for any lawnmower repair/service needs.

Great, didn't even re-schedule when we experienced torrential down pour. Moved the mower in to the garage and completed the service.

Have used them before and they are always great !!

It took almost two weeks for them to get a belt that can be bought at any local hardware store.

Great! Tim knows what he's doing. He got it running and cleaned up in an incredibly reasonable amount of time. I did need the carburetor replaced, but I expected that. What I did not expect was the great price. Highly recommended.

Tim arrived on time, quickly determined the reason my engine would not start. Explained what he was doing and why. Also told me how to avoid future problems. Got it going in about 40 min. Checked to make sure it would restart. I would use his service again if needed. I highly recommend this business.

Service provider was on time and promptly completed work on our pushmower. He noted that front wheels were worn and recommended replacing them and suggested where to purchase.

He came to our house, diagnosed the problem, told us it wasn't worth the cost to fix and showed us a work around. Bought a new battery.

As stated, it took probably 15 minutes, was done right in my driveway and works great. So much easier than loading on the trailer and hauling to some shop and then back a week later.

Called Mobile Lawnmower Medic to go to my son's home to check on belt that had come off riding mower. They responded with 3-4 days and came out to house to re-attach belt. Came within the appointed time provided said he would. Only charged $20.00 for actual work performed but well-worth that in order to get the mower back in working order. Sure beats having to take mower in to shop and leave for days and face possible higher service charge and repair bill. Very satisfied and would highly recommend Mobile Lawnmower Medic, and would use for future repairs.

Tim was very knowledgable. He gave a four hour window of time and called within 15 minutes of his expected arrival. When he arrived, he noted that he had the mower down for service and when I mentioned that some parts had been recently replaced and I didn't think service was needed, he did not try to talk me into it. I did instruct him to do service if he found something which needed to be replaced. Tim had the mower up and going in about an hour. He cleaned the carburetor, drained the fuel and replaced a bad gasket. He took explained exactly what the issue was and also noted another part that might need to be replaced in the future, as well as took the make/model of the part so he'd have it when we need it to be replaced. It was raining and he didn't cancel, which we appreciated. He had a nifty awning that rolled out from his truck so that he and the lawnmower could stay dry while he worked. Overall, great service and nice guy. Price was very fair. We will definitely use them again when needed.

Tim is just a good guy and really knows what he's doing. I emailed him through his site and someone got back to me within 4-6 hours. We set up the appointment and I was told he'd be there between 9-12. He showed up at 8:53. The day before my appointment, my neighbor asked if he could join me and have his mower serviced too. Tim said it was no problem and gave me a small discount for the referral. He was in and out in about 45 minutes for both mowers. He also gave me some good advice on a broken mower I've got saying it'd cost more to fix it than to just sell it for what I could. I'll use him every year from now on.

Tim is a very pleasant and knowledgeable fellow! He came out within two days of my call, and was here at the agreed-upon time. He took the mower up to his mobile clinic (his truck!), and worked on it for about ten minutes. When he was done, the mower was alive again!! He explained what had happened (there was almost no oil in the reservoir, so the engine overheated and shut down). My husband is not very good with routine maintenance issues, so he doesn't check/add oil very often . The problem with too little oil on a chronic basis is that the valves of the engine get damaged, and to fix that requires an expensive engine overhaul, at which point one might as well just buy a new mower. Tim went over all of this with me, also showed me the correct level of oil on the dipstick, and how to check it properly. He also suggested making a habit of checking the oil before each use, and hopefully, that will extend the life of the mower somewhat. As I said in my prior review of Mobile Lawnmower Medic, it is SO worth it not to have to haul the mower around in the back of the car for maintenance!!!!!! As long as we have a lawnmower, we will continue to call Tim!
