Tony and his guys did a great job. They were on time and moved very quickly. They handled my belongings with care and got me completely moved to my new place in a short amount of time. I am extremely impressed with Miscellaneous Plus Inc!

They were great. Showed up a little early even. Very hard working. I had more than would fit in the truck. So Tony did a great job loading all of my stuff very tightly. He filled ever nook and cranny, up tot he ceiling of the truck. In the end, it didn't quite fit, and I had to make other arrangements, but Tony and his team did a great job doing their best. Also, the work was completed in 3 hours as I had hoped for. Couldn't have asked for better help. Very convenient being able to hire a hard-working crew like this also. Unfortunately, I don't live in Raleigh anymore, so will not be able to use them again. But I do recommend them.

The movers were professional and did a good job. Nothing was damaged and move was done in the two hour time slot we purchased through Angie's list. I was, however unhappy with the professionalism of the owner or manager who set up the appointment. I spoke to him on the phone and scheduled a time. He told me the prices and then I told him I had purchased a package on Angie's List. He told me that it was a very small truck and that we could upgrade to a larger one for $99. I told him that we didn't need a large truck, just the small one to move the things we could not. I stressed this fact. When they arrived, they came with a larger truck and presented me with a bill for $99. I called the owner several times and left 3 messages for him to call me back during the move. It has bee 4 days and I still have not heard from him. We paid the extra money...did not fill up the truck entirely (though tried in order to get our money's worth). I would have given this company an F if it weren't for the movers themselves. They did a decent job. My advice is to have the person you seek to put a quote in writing and email it to you. Then, when you sign the paperwork, make sure you initial the area that says that you are paying what was quoted and nothing more.

After discussing the job with Tony in the morning, he determined that he would need a larger truck than originally planned. He arrived with a helper at 2 pm, and immediately started loading up his truck with my beds, dressers, kitchen set, and a few other large pieces of furniture. He called in two other men to help out, and the 4 guys worked very well together. They had the truck ready to go in about 45 minutes. We drove over to my new apartment, about 5 minutes away, and his crew unloaded my stuff and took it to my apartment (on the 3rd floor), quickly and efficiently. I really appreciated that Tony was able to bring in 2 additional workers and they got the whole job done on a VERY hot and humid afternoon in 2 hours. I would definitely recommend Miscellaneous Plus for moving work.

We bought the deal here on Angie's List and everything was great. It seems we gave the movers our new address, neglecting to give them the address we were moving from (and thus where all of our belongings were!). We didn't realize this egregious error on our part until an hour or so before they were set to arrive. They were already on their way to the new location, so they had to turn around, which cost us a little extra, understandably. The guys were professional and very fast loading/unloading. Nothing was broken, scratched or dinged. I highly recommend this company and will use Misc. Plus in the future and recommend them to others.

It went excellent. The 2 men arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. Everything went smoothly and quickly. Would definitlely recommend them and use them if needed in the future.

Tony is our guy! He brought 4 guys, 2 trucks. We paid $775 for 5 hours, 2 big trucks, and 4 guys. They arrived shortly before 8am, got to work and were done by 1pm. They handled the hot weather and the steep driveway with professionalism and mastery. They don't mess around, especially if you're paying by the hour. We had a lot of stuff, and they were done way before we expected them to be done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They were great. Very nice guys. Took care with my stuff. Flexible with my situation--moving from a house down a long driveway that they could not get the trucks down, so they walked the stuff up to the street.

The unit we wanted moved is more of a breakfast area side cabinet with drawers and doors, but we placed it in a bedroom when we moved into our new home a few months ago because we weren't sure how we would use the piece in the new house. When we finally decided we wanted it down in the family room, we discovered that it was simply too heavy for us to feel like we could safely move. So we found Miscellaneous Plus here on Angies List and called them. They scheduled the appointment the very next day, and the job went perfectly. They arrived early (unheard of these days) and quickly got to work. They wrapped the unit in plastic to secure and protect the glass doors, and carefully moved it downstairs. I liked their communication with each other as they made sure not to hit the walls or ceiling. I suppose one could argue that $99 is a lot to move one piece of furniture, and honestly, I was waiting to snag a couple of movers that might be delivering furniture and pay them $20 bucks each to do the job. But that opportunity never came and in the end, I found it worth the extra money to have Miscellaneous come and do it sooner rather than later. They were excellent and I would use them again.

I don't remember the exact date. However, this was the most professional moving experience I've had...and I've moved so many times I can't count due to corporate relocations. I've had numerous good experiences and a few very unpleasant - one company with the word Two in the name. I've also used movers to move furniture around inside the house and Tony is the best. Here's why... My house has very tight hallways and I moved numerous large cabinets into the house. Tony and his helper very so careful negotiating and adjusting these pieces to get them out of the rooms and down the hall. Equally importantly he was very patient and calm explaining to his helper how to negotiate the difficult turns. They were very pleasant and completed the job quickly. I will absolutely use them again. I am planning an out of town move this summer and will have them give me a quote.

Even though it was a small job, Tony called me to schedule the move when he said he would, and showed up promptly at the agreed time. They moved a very long and heavy dining table up 20 stairs without the slightest bump and gently placed it. I will definitely use their service again.

Tony was excellent to deal with. He was responsive, prompt, and came prepared with lots of moving blankets to help protect my goods. It was a nice benefit to be able to drop at two separate locations; he was very flexible about it.

They were excellent. After the wood floors were refinished they took great care not to damage them while moving heavy items into the house in rainy conditions. It really couldn't have gone better.

They moved stuff that was in the way and moved the pieces. Everything worked perfectly. These guys are great!

Tony and Mike were very professional. They had a very hard job with the pinball machine coming down narrow stairs with a landing. They treated all our belongings with care. I highly recommend Miscellaneous Plus, Inc. for any of your moving needs. I will definitely use them in the future as my wife and I are at the age we can no longer move heavy or difficult items.

Tony was not the lowest price quoted, but with his experience and recommendations, the price of the move was less than any other estimate. We were moving from an apartment and a storage unit. His was the only estimate that recommended the use of 2 trucks and 4 guys. This turned out saving us a lot of money, as less time was required. Tony and his crew were very careful with our possessions and the house. We did not incur any damage or breakage. And they really move, no dallying. We had to move fast to keep up with them.

Tony and one of his employees were right on time, and moved everything swiftly...yet very carefully. He made sure all of my mother's furniture was well protected. He truly treated all the items as if they were his own. I was impressed by his professionalism.

Tony was very responsive and was even able to come on the same day, within the hour. He was on time, courteous and professional. They were very careful not to damage anything in the move and was diligent about cleaning up afterward. I would definitely use his service again and recommend him.

Purchased a treadmill on line and had it dropped off in my garage. When I tried to move it myself to the room where I wanted to keep it I found it to be too heavy to do myself. I called Miscellaneous Plus to see if they were available. Within a couple of hours they had come to my house and the treadmill was where I wanted it.

A last-minute holiday rush on our part required that four large pieces of furniture be moved between floors of our home. I called Miscellaneous Plus in the morning and by the afternoon everything had been moved! They were prompt, professional, very careful, and pleasant to work with. I will use them again should the need arise. Great Job!

Very responsive - we messaged them Saturday morning, Antonio responded immediately and scheduled a time later that day. They showed up right as scheduled and quickly moved the treadmill upstairs. Friendly and professional. Would use them again.

We needed help moving a large vanity into our home. I sent out email requests to several moving companies and Tony responded by email early the next morning (Saturday). He was flexible on the price and willing to move the item on Monday. Another company was willing to do it for a little less so we decided to use them. I emailed Tony and told him that we wouldn't need his services on Monday but I would write a review on Angie's List. I wanted to do this even though we chose not to use him because he was prompt when responding to emails, very professional and willing to negotate the price of the job. Well...the delivery company switched the delivery day to Tuesday. I called the other moving company to let them know and asked if they would be able to help us on Tuesday with the promise that the delivery company would call us an hour prior to the delivery of the vanity and I would call them as soon as I received the call from the delivery company. On Tuesday, I received a call from the delivery company saying that they were outside ready to deliver the vanity. I explained that I was expecting a call an hour prior so I could have the delivery company there to help get the item off the truck. I was impressed that he said he would take care of getting it off the truck and move it into the driveway. Right away I called the delivery company but no one answered. After a few attempts, I called Tony and he picked up right away. I asked him if he could help us move the vanity that was just delivered. He said yes, he could help but it may be later in the day and needed to check on some things but would call me right back. Which he did - letting me know that he was close and could come in about 15 minutes. As soon as he arrived, Tony decided on the best plan of action and then he and his employee went to work. They took the vanity out of the box and maneuvered that beast up a set of stairs, through the front door and into our upstairs master bedroom. Holy cow! The entire time, Tony communicated with his employee to get the vanity where we needed it - which was not an easy task with tight corners and narrow stairs. They did an awesome job! We so appreciated his prompt, professional service and would highly recommend him to friends and family.

The price is okay but they are really good. I would use them again in the future if needed.
