Miscellaneous Plus Inc

We've used Misc Plus twice for moves in the Chapel Hill area, and will be our first choice the next time we move. Tony and his crew were outstanding each time. They were fast and reasonably priced, and did not damage one item. They appear to be a team that has worked together for a long time.

Tony's crew did an excellent job. I hired them for an urgent move. They came early with more manpower than expected and finished the job more quickly than expected. All employees were pleasant and professional. I was around them for all of one day and part of another. How five guys can move furniture all day and not utter a single curse, I'll never know. I have huge respect for good movers like the Miscellaneous Plus crew we had.

Tony and his team were great. They arrived on time, early actually, and were very careful as they moved the large items out the house. They were careful when they placed the furniture on the hardwood floors in the new house. I would definitely recommend them!

The move went very well. They arrived a few minutes before scheduled and made evaluation. Everything was moved promptly and in a professional manner. We were extremely pleased with the whole experience. We will definitely call them again if needed. They charged a minimum for three hours and it was just as they quoted.

The move went great! The owner of the business was very professional over the phone when I first called and provided me with a general idea of costs and times. He set up a time to come out to our house and give an actual estimate. He showed up, did a quick walk through of the house and filled out an estimate sheet and confirmed they would be there to move us on Saturday between 8 and 830. He told me there was a possibility they would arrive early if that was ok. The morning of the move they showed up at 730. There were four movers total, one of them being the owner. They moved quickly but took care when handling furniture or boxes labeled fragile. They had us packed up in the truck in 2 hours. When we arrived at the new house they kept up the speed and care. The owner was concerned with saving us time and money as well as his men. They finished 2 hours sooner than the estimate and our price came in well under what we were quoted. We did not find anything broken or scratched. Overall a great moving experience! I would recommend them to anyone.

It went pretty well. They screwed up a little bit. They forgot something and then, when I realized that they had actually busted a door, I had somebody else fix it for me. The guy was nice and everything. I had a mirror in my hallway. I had said three times, "I'm moving this." I got here and the mirror wasn't moved. I was like, "Where is the mirror?" The guy said, "Oh, I'm sorry. Let me fix it for you. I'll go get the mirror. Let me come and get the mirror for you." He called me after I already moved out of the house. But he was a nice guy. I had to have another mover do some other stuff for me, bring the mirror here and pay him.

It went great - very professional, very friendly and they got it done quickly and cleanly. The price initially seemed a bit high but considering they had to drive 30-40 miles (and pay for gas) just to get to me and that almost all the furniture was on the 2nd floor, I think it was a very fair price. I only had a few pieces to move but it had to be done on a particular night and "friend discounts" weren't available to me. I'd definitely use Tony and Miscellaneous Plus again!

A large and heavy piece of furniture was delivered and my husband and I were not able to move it. I called several places but only Tony was willing to help us today. He and an associate came over and handled the move professionally and no damage was done to anything. I was thrilled that he was willing to fit us in late on a Friday. I will definitely use them in the future and will recommend to everyone.

They were very polite and kept asking to make sure they were putting things in the right places. The prices were incredibly reasonable and they were so trustworthy, just really nice. They are a well established team and worked together really well. They were really amazing and everything went great, nothing broken and no problems or scratches on anything.

It went really well. Move took about 2 hours. These were three very strong, hard working men. They kept moving the whole time and had a system. They did not have to spend time figuring out how to get things in and out.

When I scheduled, they suggested sending 3 men and a 26 foot truck for 3 hours. These guys never slowed down, and the job was completed in 3 hrs and 15 minutes! They were super careful with every piece, and because of that, there was no damage at all. I moved into new construction, with not one scratch or mar anywhere. I hope I never move again. But if I do, I will definitely use Miscellaneous Plus.

Tony and his team were total pros. We really enjoyed them, and they were extremely fast (moving our entire home in 1 1/2 hours). We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great service at a fair price.

Tony and his team are professional, efficient, and worth every penny. We used them twice: to empty a large storage unit and to move big furniture and appliances from one house to another. Each time, they exercised care with our things. They wrapped furniture and protected floors. They moved quickly even though they were paid by the hour. They finished the job excellently, without nicking furniture or walls.

Tony and his crew met me at our storage unit at the time he promised. Four guys and two trucks to move us to our new home. They got almost all of the items out of the storage unit (10 X25) in about 2 hours. We then went to our two bedroom apartment and quickly and efficiently carefully loaded these items. We went to our new home and they moved things at an amazing speed into each room. Completed the job by 1 PM. Awesome job!!

Tony and his team moved us on a rainy and wet day. They were punctual, professional, efficient, and most importantly very careful with all of our items. I could not have been happier with the move. I would recommend them without hesitation!

The movers were very prompt. They moved all of our furniture without complaint from a two story house into a single story. We originally purchased the deal for $320 for two men with a truck for 3 hours. When they got there and looked around, the told us it would be probably 4-5 hours and closer to 5 hours. They got right to work. They completed all the work in 3 1/2 hours. Awesome guys! They never stopped! Excellent movers! We will definitely use them again and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

It went great. They were very experienced movers and worked efficiently. I've spent days doing by myself what these guys did in a few short hours. They were very careful with my stuff and the walls which were freshly painted. No scuff marks at all! I'm using these guys again to move out of the storage shed and into the new house.

Tony & team did an awesome job for us moving our belongings into a new home. We had everything packed up so all they had to do was grab and go. They showed up on time ready to go, were professional and treated our things respectfully. We were very happy with their service and assistance!

The guys were friendly and nice. Ended up rescheduling to an earlier time on the day planned but it was a welcome change. The move out of the apartment took some time but it was a third floor walk up so I understand that. Moving in was simple and quick. We were done in exactly 3 hours. They even helped put some of the furniture back together at the new place. Highly recommend this company. Couldn't have done it without them.

I got an Angie's List deal for my elderly parents to move. Miscellaneous Plus did a great job. Very responsive when I called and accurately gave pricing information. A few movers were called and some prices were just outrageous for the little bit of furniture that was needed to move. They arrived on time and got right to work. Very professional and quick with moving out and in. Highly recommend.
